Thank you for your honest review. I just bought this at Amazon but they moved the controls from the right side to on top. On the one hand, it's got a smaller counter footprint but on the other hand, it's taller in case you have low cabinets. I've got about 3-4" of clearance to the top of the Cosori so I should be fine. After watching your video I can't wait until my Cosori arrives and I can start cooking things. Thanks again for you indepth review. You're a good man and did a very good job!

I bought this before watching your video. I wish I came across this video earlier. Your really on top of going over everything that this item has to offer. I returned mine because it takes to long to preheat. Even in between cooking different items. A door with a gasket would have helped this product alot.

I did notice that when you were checking the time it took to air fry the chicken bites the one that you tested was a larger piece. Therefore, it was not as done as the others. When you test a smaller piece, it was closer to 180° Other than that this was an awesome review. Way to go.
Hot DAM!!! you deserve the "Air Fryer of the YEAR AWARD" glad I clicked you convinced me to go for this over the instant large version. I disagree over the "smart appliances" and will delay the rise of Skynet and refuse to allow my appliances to conspire against me as I sleep. My Refrigerator is so jealous of all the attention I give my coffee maker in the mornings!! I know one day it will lead the Revolt against all of mankind!! OH WELL...."to each there own".... I say!!

I use my toaster oven for pretty much everything. I only have electricity at my house (no natural gas), making using a full oven extremely expensive.
The limit of 450 degrees max is... odd. I cook some frozen fried food (mozzarella sticks, etc.) at 475 just fine in my Black & Decker $30 toaster oven.
Starting it remotely is my entire reason for buying it.
The fact they claim you can say 'Alexa, air fry at 400' is INCREDIBLY deceptive.
When I say 'Alexa, Pause TV' or 'Alexa, turn off lights' or 'Alexa, AC to 70 degrees' I don't then have to... get up and perform the task.
You can buy full-size ovens with remote preheat.
It's insane that it's so hard to find a toaster oven that supports this.
It looks like I'll stick with my manual toaster oven and Alexa Smartplug for a while.

I can't seem to get my food crispy on the bottom but the top is always nice crisp crunch . I'm going to try to put it on bake and put my food on the bottom rack and turn the fan on and hopefully the bottom of the food will be 360 degrees crispy . Other than that this air fryer is allot of fun so far . I really hope that this will do the trick

I'm eager to see how you like this oven in comparison to the Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Oven. I am currently toggling between the two of them. I like this one for both the price and the "smart" features but I'm not super familiar with this brand. I see lots of people with Cosori Brand Air Fryers and they absolutely love them. Thank you for the side by side comparison in size to the Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Oven.
Yeah. I was looking at the ninja as well. The downfall is the button icons rub off.

I have seen the claims of Foodi XL Pro button paint rubbing off. I seriously question what those with such issues are cleaning with? I use regular liquid dish soap and water. My icon paint looks like it did out the box many months later. Never had any such issue at all. You can see in my recent videos, everything is still there. And I got mine on pre-order. So I have owned it about as long as anyone can have one.
Having an app would be a help especially if it could be modified. The oven would forget but the app would keep it. Also the recipe in the app could be modified.to your own taste.
A probe would be helpful plus a light on when cooking and a pause when the door was opened.
can you airfry on two trays at the same time ?

@@WaveOvenRecipes I get it. This one was not your top choice. I'm sold on the Alexa interface, so I need to decide between the two. It appears the Alexa interface allows for more control than the Google Home interface. I saw in another (otherwise less thorough) review someone set mode, time, and temp through Alexa. That freaking rocks! I'll deal with a little smoke for that. I'm coming from the Cuisinart Digital Air Fryer Toaster Oven, which was your top choice at the time you reviewed it, but the fan is dying on mine like it has for many. Anyway, I love your thorough reviews.

Nice review👍, complete and almost accurate....: you said if you want to cook at your temperature and time over and over again...you can’t because you can’t memorize that setting. Wrong, you can do that so easy trough the app... many and different settings you can memorize there with other details of each personalized meal

Hello, do you remember what the underside of the toast looks like for this model of Cosori? Does it look the same as the top? I was almost going to get the Foodi Digital that tips up but the underside of the toast was heavily striped and undertoasted.

It's an older cooker. I would doubt anyone keeps them on a store shelf still.

Did I understand this right? It takes 10 minutes to preheat for toasting? That seems inconvenient if so.
You need to watch that portion again and listen closely. You got it wrong.
@@WaveOvenRecipes Ok so help me out here. What am I hearing wrong? 😊 it was about 30 minutes in. From a cold start, at the darkest level, it’s 10 minutes. I’d always be at a cold start at one of the darker settings. I’m just trying to find out how long it would take to make toast. I know you made some later in the video and it seemed like it took 5 minutes and that was after the oven had some residual heat which sped it up.
These are good reviews by the way. We’re in the market for one of these and your videos are the best!
You don't need to preheat at all to make toast.
And preheat for anything you want to preheat for I showed via the timer.
Its the same as the Emeril very similar. I bet you the same factory is used in China.
