It would be cool to own someday. I remember seeing it in Modern Warfare 2, and I enjoyed it. There are a few different variants of the rifle in The Division 2, and Ghost Recon Break point. There's a 7.62x39mm variant planned by Templar precision apparently, so that is pretty cool. Had things been handled better, I think the 6.8SPC certainly could have been the next Army rifle after the M4.
I've owned an ACR since they were released in 2010.. and, after owning many rifles since, I can honestly say it's a very well designed platform, and to this day is probably the most accurate 5.56 battle rifle I've owned. That's saying a lot considering it was the first manufacturing run, and considering that Bushmaster produced it. But, for those who have experience with ACRs, apparently the original Wyndham Maine built rifles are superior. Thanks to Garand Thumb for giving this a legitimate and honest review. For whatever reason, this, like the SCAR, is a rifle people love to hate... So, pretty awesome to see a review that was independent and not just a bunch of red meat to placate the online masses. Thank you!! 🙏 ALSO- Yes, Bushmaster royally fucked everything up after its release... literally everything a company could do wrong, they did. Kept teasing caliber change kits... kept, advertising modularity to get sales, but as one other poster said, then came out with their own proprietary caliber...because that's exactly what the people who heard nothing but 5.56/7.62 x 39 modularity during the run up to manufacturing wanted... To this day, I look at this rifle and am impressed by the design and manufacturing... and fucking pissed at Bushmaster for burning their customers' trust with the way they handled literally everything post 2010.
The ACR was perfect in that game. It was probably the best weapon, if not a really good jack of all trades. Plus you just can't beat having an underslung grenade launcher to get you out of tough spots.
Love my ACR! Got the suped-up Enhanced in Coyote Brown for a steal since they marked the price wrong. XD Had it for like 6+ years now and have run that thing very hard during some training sessions and never had any issues with it. Like, literally, not one. Now the aftermarket options on them have exploded. Tons of rail/foregrip options, stocks, barrels, calibers, etc. It's all available now. Also the black versions retail for about $1500-1700 and the Coyote retail at $1800-2000. The basic versions somewhat cheaper.

ACR, the rifle in MW that was basically a laser thanks to its accuracy and recoil.
Bro the MW2 ACR was garbage. The MW3 version was insane.
@@cptsparklfingerz9210 dude the 6.8, iron sights and suppressor was such an amazing gun. so many MOABs with the acr
Thank you!! 🙏
ALSO- Yes, Bushmaster royally fucked everything up after its release... literally everything a company could do wrong, they did.
I remember this gun on Future Weapons, then in Modern Warfare 2. there's still one at a range shop I frequent, but it costs more than my MCX.
I fell in love with the ACR in Ghost Recon Future Soldier

Now the aftermarket options on them have exploded. Tons of rail/foregrip options, stocks, barrels, calibers, etc. It's all available now.
