Great video. Very helpful and informative. GM didnt do us any favors routing those lines to the top of the transmission. Used this info to replace the lines on my 08 Yukon. Had to do the same job on my 2010 Suburban but those lines ran to the drivers side of the trans. Much easier access.

Awesome. Did mine a few months ago and no leaks. Amazon lines were bent incorrectly so I needed to get a bending tool to adjust. Your video helped give me the confidence to do it. Thanks.

👍😎👌Great video and very informative. I got a question does this truck have a 4l60e or 4l65e transmission? The reason I'm asking is because I purchased a used transmission out of a wrecked 2008 Suburban and was told it was a 4l65e and I just wanted to try to confirm if that was true or not.
I have a 2005 Hummer H2 and that had a 4l65e that I took out and after taking both transmission laying them side by side I removed both transmission pans to see if the layout was exactly identical and it appeared that one particular shift solenoid was located in a different place. I'm not sure what that means but I'm just trying to figure out why my truck won't shift into 3rd and 4th gear. I'm sure my issue is got to be something simple because the transmission is good I just have to discover what the issue is.

This Suburban is a 1500, 5.3L Flex Fuel with 4L60E. I did have some trouble getting the correct cooler lines. The first set I got was not even close to the lines I removed. Apparently, there is a heavy-duty cooler package that I don't have and didn't know about. Maybe the 4L65E goes with the heavy-duty cooler.
      Thanks for your comment.

Did you do this with the truck on the ground?

No, I used jack stands, but you could also use ramps.

    How long did it take?

It can probably be done in a couple hours if you have everything ready. It took me longer because of the video.
