  • Remove trans cooler lines without removing the bolt that grabs the line, Sometimes there is a plastic ring around it so just pull it with a pry bad or screwdriver.To put the lines back you need to put the clip in first then push the line and it will be locked

    I lost one of those and had to construct one out of a small paper clip which held ok. Man you also must know how to put them back in properly. Great Video

      Fr i was under stands and couldnt get the top one off me and 2 buddies spent 1.5hrs and every tool except a line wrench. Ended up cutting line as close to the nut as possible to get a socket on it. We put tranny in tomorrow so we'll see if we can put reflare the line

  • @chrisheffernan6600
    @chrisheffernan6600 6 месяцев назад

    There is much better way, especially to get into those hard to reach areas. Its called a Transmission line disconnect tool. Slips over the line like a fuel line disconnect tool, run it in, and pull the line out. The clip stays on the nut too so you don't accidently lose or break it.

    • @LSXperts72

      @@LSXperts72Wrong, YES there definitely is an O ring inside that fitting, that is what seals it, the clip just keeps it from backing out, and there is a plastic cover that goes over the clip to keep it in place
