Nice video, but I doubt that Ace Pro has AF. It's fixed focus camera as all current action cameras. I would really welcome real AF with 1-inch sensor in future cameras.
Ok… hear me out, I film my vlogs in 2.7K but sometime I film in 5.3K on the hero 11 black. I saw that there is an 8K video mount media made and it looks amazing. Check it out on his channel. But 8K is now the new normal for me when I want to film soccer games for my sister in 8K it looks great plus the zoom feature. I don’t like that the ace pro has only 8-bit color. GoPro wins for me
Insta 360 needs to work on names .. GoPro is easy to say.. but they be having such long names a they don’t stay consistent with them.. I have a hero 12 battery is the only thing but there’s work arounds to that issue . I use it on my motorcycle and the new Bluetooth pairing works amazingly well with my motorcycle headset in my helmet
so far, you are the only one testing the ace pro with 60 fps. I give you a thunb up. Hope to see more in good day light recording with 60 pfs. I find out very funny when people complain a camera that only offers 30 fps BUT when this camera offers up to 4k 120 ... BUT so far NO ONE test the camera in 60 fps !!! what is going on with those people ?
Interesting match-up, but I will be looking forward to underwater recording. I was so close to pulling the trigger on BF, for attaching to my snorkel mask when snorkeling near my place in Honolulu. Happy New Year!
wait so the ace pro has autofocus like a big mirrorless camera and the gopro doesnt? To be honest the best scenario for a gopro is sunny weather. there I found its biggest strength. very good color science. better than sony and others.
It won't be the end of GoPro ... not even close. Sheer market share and greater retail availability of the GoPro will keep the Insta as a minor option in the marketplace. Some of us remember the Garmin Virb Ultra30 .... a minor blip in action cam history even with the features and corporate backend it brought to bear.
The 8K is amazing but limited to 24 fps, I'm hoping they will open this up in future firmware. But still, it's usable and the only actioncam with 8K. The 8K sensor was originally designed for Clarity Zoom ;)

Great info, but everyone is comparing the Ace Pro to GoPro and/or Action 4. I would like to see a comparison of the Ace Pro to the Ace.

Do a search, there's already a few underwater/scuba videos with the Ace Pro, one of the main reason why I got mine for the low light advantage ;)

No point comparing the ace pro against hero 12. GoPro is the worst action camera out, the only camera to compare it against is action 4.
