This is a great remix and you come to like it as you listen to it more, I think I prefer this remix to the original song. Mike Paradinas is amazing and I think he's the only person that could actually gracefully remix an Aphex Twin track. Though, I I feel the remix didn't quite live up to it's full potential. The introduction and first verse are absolutely perfect but after the first chorus passes the song becomes too progressive and loses the listeners attention. The distorted breaks are really fitting but I wish the remix was more moving, powerful and had more harmony and repetition. In saying that though, the latter third of the remix is redeeming. If the remix took a note out of his track, 'Within A Sound' then I think it would have been perfect.

+sizone I don't know why I didn't think of Tom, I'm sure he could remix certain AFX tracks and make them really great. I'd like to hear him attempt to remix some tracks from the, 'I Care Because You Do' album. I think that album would synergize with his style of composing and performing.

:) The three of them are in their own little club, with Kid606 occasionally invited to hang out.

Amazingly however, the "Mike+Rich" album isnt that great unfortunately :(

+sizone Yeah, the infamous Warp artists of the 1990's are in a field of their own. It seems every few decades there's a breakthrough in electronic music e.g. 1950, 1970, 1990 and so on. I agree, that record just wasn't flattering but one-off collaboration records rarely are and that's not to mention that AFX stated that he was drunk and under the influence of LSD while writing some of the material for the album. I'm surprised that RDJ has only ever officially made and released a collaboration album with Mike Paradinas though. It's most likely due to the fact that there are just so few people who are actually on his mental level.
