I played Mario covers of Radiohead and Aphex Twin (including this one) and just poured out whatever I thought of. The story turned out to be utter crap but the vibes were definitely there. These remixes have so much care put into them that I really appreciate. You can tell that you have a good understanding on what makes both the song and the super mario 64 soundfont sound so appealing, and as the result they feel so complimentary to each other. Choosing the pad synth at 2:53 especially gives me a feeling I can't properly describe, but I love it.
Fcking love it!!!! I love the fact that you replace the chair sound by a chain chomp. Aphex Twin could have made music for the N64, his melodies and the SM64 sounds matches so well.
