I think the previous owner of my car took the little “pill” off when they installed the aftermarket rpm gauge because both the gauge on the cluster and the aftermarket gauge don’t work. How would I fix this ???
Great video but you should have have shown if the the reading was true to rev , I did this exact same in stall and my tach redlines at 4500 rpm any solutions.

I have the same tachometer I cant get it set up were ya hold the bottom botton an the top botton to set it it will not do anything even when I crank the car I have power but have nothing it's a b20b

Check and see if you tach is set to 4 6 or 8 cyl

i installed mine but when i rev high it stops reading it im gonna check all wires tomorrow but any ideas what else it could be
