I love your content!! I have learned so much watching your videos. I have followed the steps in the guide as far as I can. I have a couple of doubts, to see if you can give me a hand. -The conversion of the injectors, all perfect. -The wiring of the 4-wire lambda probe, everything perfect. -Prolong both TPS and IACV, all perfect. My doubt comes when removing the pins from the old connector, to make them coincide with those of the new distributor, D16z6, I understand that 5 coincide, right? The other two are the new ones that need to be wired to the ecu? Are they C1 and C2? Thank you very much!!
I did everything...but I’m still not getting spark. Also b12 wasn’t empty on my ef...I still followed the angelfire procedure as it said even tho b10 and b9 where the empty slots.. I smell gas but it’s not starting up nor do I see spark? Would cam timing have to do with anything? I’m asking because I don’t think it’s right so I’m gonna re check that here soon.
I have dpfi harness out of my 91 civic hatchback dx 1.5l manual transmission, I have shorts somewhere after checking continuity, should I take harness off and check all the wiring or is there an easier way to find the short, please help
It was called tandem (it was only in dpfi civics) but yes if you know how to repin depin you can make that plug as your new thermostat fan switch.. Theres alot of things people dont know and its always better to have an automatic wire harness why? Because of extra plugs..if you depin (eleminate and add new stuff you can get away from buying and cutting stuff)
Man. Your two part video is helping me so much with my build. My question though is this. My car did not have the map sensor plug in it. When trying to pin in the three wires, the corosponding colors are already in said pins. What should I do
I have a 90 ef hatch and it’s get fire but the injectors done seem like they are getting fuel got pressure on the regulator i obd1 injectors and wired them into the ecu and the harness on the driver side it’s has gas and can hear pump coming home
Hello you do not sell the harness to combertir obd1 a civic ef 91 I would like to do it as injectors I am from cd juarez Mexico I stop here there are good mechanics and I do not understand much English and I struggle to find the tips I hope your answer thanks
Awesome video, I never thought I'd find this info. Is this the same method for replacing a dual carb setup? And is there any extra steps in keeping an automatic transmission? (ECU?)
Amazing man ty, one question is this process exact if I’m going from OBD0 to OBD1 VTEC? I have both full harnesses(DPFI and VTEC OBD1 off a 93 del sol Si, I’m installing a D16z6 VTEC in the EF.
What would you charge to build a DPFI to MPFI harness for a 90’ CRX DX? I have a spare 91’ Integra engine harness complete with injectors in case you need wiring for building the DPFI to MPFI harness. Please let me know. I am SJ local also. Thanks 🙏🏽
Question: I'm using a 91 crx si (d16a) engine harness on my 91dx Honda wagon. All the plugs matches but the last plug that plugs up to the firewall (driver side). What can I do to make it work? Help!
Hi bro, i'm a little confused: I have seen many videos/tutorials/guides about the DPFI conversion to MPFI. Some of them says that the order of wiring the injectors are: Dizzy...#4--#3--#2--#1 Timing belt. Anothers says totally the opposite: Dizzy...#1--#2--#3--#4 Timing belt. What is the real order? What could happen if the order is wrong? Thank you!!
Yo man! Im trying to do a jdm d15b swap on my eg4, the eg came with a ukdm d15b2 non vtec. Im getting mixed opinions on how to wire it up. The engine harness and ecu is with the engine just the cabin harness i need help with. Cheers dude
Was up man!!! I’m in the middle of putting a D16Z6 into my EF (D15B2 DPFI) Im staying automatic which is generating a few questions, beside RUclips how can I contact you if possible? Again great videos man
Yoooo brother I’ve watched this video literally 1000000 times I made the harness exactly how you did , for some reason my iacv valve is going crazy buzzing and shit and my fuel pump won’t prime at all I’ve got power to the pump main relay clicks ! Any suggestions? Anyone plz people are telling me I have a short or ground in the harness but I’ve check continuity and everything is where it needs to be
Thank you for the clear video, i have a few questions tho, I have an eg4 with the d15b2, is this the same process? what odb1 harness did you use as a donor? one from a b7 or d16?
when you cut the and spliced the injector 1(yellow) and 3(red) what did you do with the other wire? did you just depin it ? im confused as to what to do with the wires you cut
im in the swap process and I NEED HELP, its a 0bd2 engine going into a 0bd1 car, should I use my 0bd2 harness and just get a ecu jumper harness or should I retain my 0bd1 harness and get the following: distributor, fuel injectors, and alternator jumper harness??? I know I have 2 options to choose from but which is better choice?????? please help thanks
Cat Tran cut the injector clips and alternator plug off your obd2 harness and splice them into your obd1 harness That will allow you to run obd2 alternator and injectors on the obd1 harness then just buy or make a obd2 to obd1 distributor jumper harness depending on your skill level.
I’ve done it that way. But the way I do it now, it would allow someone to plug up a resister box Incase they use injectors that requires the box or bigger injectors
Could you skip the part where you cut the old dpfi injectors and splicing them into the new injectors. I was running all my new injectors to the ecu and the yellow/black wire on the resistor box to the ecu. I just cut and taped off the dpfi wires. im obd0 as well
This is very good video homie..but.. why are you using an OBD2 harness to perform a MPFI swap? A PM6 ECU is for an OBD0 and this video should be titled+ OBD0 to OBD1 conversion. OBD1 was used from 1992-1995. OBD2 was used from 1996-1999..so unless you have one of those engines in your 88-91 civic, this harness wont even work. I just bought a harness , Intake manifold, dizzy and pM6 ecu from a 91 CRX Si. Its all plug and play and hauls ass
This is my wife’s youtube wish I could have your help if you could set me up a obd0 harnes for my b18b1 made a mistake got rid of my old 1991 dx hatchback engine harness without knowing i needed that harness to make my ef run now I have a 90s obd0 integra harness on my ef and im lost wish I could have your help watch all your vids man if you could get in touch with me
Till this day I’m still watching you old videos! Loving the passion you have man
You're an OG for this man. Thank you.
Nothing but love in the comment section keep up the good job . Stay holding it down for the Honda game
Ef wiring ain’t no joke!!!!
I'm rewatching this video for the next 24hrs. If I can't get my D16A6 swap to work, I'm killing this car!!!!
Same bro ima just sell as is
the cat had me weak😂😂 cause he put up those zip ties to keeps his ass down
Yea dana man! Amongst the top channels regarding hondas!
I deff need to sell my boosted accord and get a crx to build keep killing it man one of my favorite channels on Honda builds hands down

Dude I was gonna ask u make this vid can't find a good one...u the best!
You do the same for the injector 3 red wire I only seen you connect one side of it and not from the harness
Bro i swear your tutorials are spot on 👌🏼
That's cool how you made that torch appear out of nowhere. Lol
Are there any extra steps needed to be taken to keep the Automatic Transmission?
Good info, I had an Si. Never had to do all that when swap to b16.
Dude great job explaining how to ! It was crisp and clear don't worry thanks !!
Awesome step by step video Dana. U da man
Man I used to work at that Fry's electronics location on Brokaw Rd. miss that place.
I did everything...but I’m still not getting spark. Also b12 wasn’t empty on my ef...I still followed the angelfire procedure as it said even tho b10 and b9 where the empty slots.. Any issues with the injector wires? Did you have to swap or leave it that way? Mines wired cam gear side is brown wire, located into a1 on the ecu.
I have dpfi harness out of my 91 civic hatchback dx 1.5l manual transmission, I have shorts somewhere after checking continuity, should I take harness off and check all the wiring or is there an easier way to find the short, please help
Hey the first plug you said you didn't need that you put as a thermostat sensor is that plug orange wire and black wire ?
It was called tandem (it was only in dpfi civics) but yes if you know how to repin depin you can make that plug as your new thermostat fan switch..

Dana I got a ef with a b20 vtec I bought from a kid who butchered the harness would I want a crx si harness to run the motor please help
You make me want to get back into Hondas again... Would like to see more EG builds though
What about using jumper harness with a obd1 ecu will hookup be same. Looked up angelfire can’t find it must have took it down
I have a 90 ef hatch and it’s get fire but the injectors done seem like they are getting fuel got pressure on the regulator i obd1 injectors and wired them into the ecu and the harness on the driver side it’s has gas and can hear pump coming home
So the fuel pump and tank doesn't have to change?
Hello you do not sell the harness to combertir obd1 a civic ef 91 I would like to do it as injectors I am from cd juarez Mexico I stop here there are good mechanics and I do not understand much English and I struggle to find the tips I hope your answer thanks
Q tal donde puedo conseguir ese tipo de convercion??
i have honda ek im planning swap 99 b18b1 into my using my ek cx wireharness what to i need too convert or extended
great work! nice and simple!
My ef dx hatch keeps throwing code 4 after this conversion ?? I got all new dizzy jumper and ecu.ive checked my grounds to
What would I need for a D16Y7
Awesome video, I never thought I'd find this info. Is this the same method for replacing a dual carb setup? And is there any extra steps in keeping an automatic transmission? (ECU?)
If I do the convertion from DPMI to MPFI on my 1991 crx wouldn't I have a problem getting it smog ?
Amazing man ty, one question is this process exact if I’m going from OBD0 to OBD1 VTEC? I have both full harnesses(DPFI and VTEC OBD1 off a 93 del sol Si, I’m installing a D16z6 VTEC in the EF.
@youngstatic does it matter if its a automatic harness
What would you charge to build a DPFI to MPFI harness for a 90’ CRX DX? I have a spare 91’ Integra engine harness complete with injectors in case you need wiring for building the DPFI to MPFI harness. Please let me know. I am SJ local also. Thanks 🙏🏽

Crank is always 1.
how much u charge me to do the d to h wiring harness for my wife del sol
Yo man! Im trying to do a jdm d15b swap on my eg4, the eg came with a ukdm d15b2 non vtec. Im getting mixed opinions on how to wire it up. The engine harness and ecu is with the engine just the cabin harness i need help with. Cheers dude
Dana , im using obd1 injectors , do u have to use that block off for resistor? Cant i just solder those 4 together and delete the box
Would u do a harness for a b18a1 swap?if so how much
Where can I get the plug for the injectors and crank?
Kenneth Burfield if ya can find a 4 wire o2 plug that’ll work
i have question i have 91 honda civic dx my friend just gave me d16A6 COMPLETE ENGINE WITH ECU WHAT WIRE I HAVE WIRE UP
Will it matter if I use a 94 harness off a civic
Can i do this with a 91 base model with the d15b1? Plz help
Was up man!!! I’m in the middle of putting a D16Z6 into my EF (D15B2 DPFI) Im staying automatic which is generating a few questions, beside RUclips how can I contact you if possible? Again great videos man
Did anyone ever do a Single carb ef civic to MPFI conversion?
Tengo un Honda civic hatchback 89 con motor d15b1 y le e puesto un d16z6 pero noce como acer la convercion y noce que necesito para acerlo?

Question for the obd0-obd1 conversion I have the distributor and the jumpers, do I need to have the ecu in hand for it to work ?
Can i use EG wire harness for this ???
Yes
When you move the fan switch. Did you extend the yellow/green wire to meet the black wire?
For a thermostat mounted switch, yes.
YoungStatic Thanks man! I don’t know what I’d do without your how to videos!
when you cut the and spliced the injector 1(yellow) and 3(red) what did you do with the other wire? did you just depin it ? im confused as to what to do with the wires you cut
Danny Lehr I fig it would have been 2 more wires like for injector 2 and 4
Are you in cali
Just out of curiosity, what are the consequences of not switching the TPS wiring?
Like sputtering
Yooo how much would u sell that harrness for??
Awesome job homie!! Love your channel 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Bro what if I don’t have the red wire from the original shock tower plug? Can I just use the yellow wire by itself?
Yes
Hey I had done this so that I would be able to put my d16z6 in my crx but my injectors aren’t spraying
Good stuff!!!!!!!
How much you charge me to make a harness for mine
Could I do this to swap my z6 from my del sol si to my 90 Civic wagon? The only issue I see is VTEC engagement if I were to do this.
Yes, but when you buy the obd0-obd1 ecu harness it should have all the extra wiring for the vtec etc
11:30 Marking this weekend's shenanigans.
Fry's is the stuff man!!
I'm running code 4 on my 91 civic b18a1
How much for the harnest
Thank you so much!
Where are you at I need your help
im in the swap process and I NEED HELP, its a 0bd2 engine going into a 0bd1 car, should I use my 0bd2 harness and just get a ecu jumper harness or should I retain my 0bd1 harness and get the following: distributor, fuel injectors, and alternator jumper harness??? Im just gonne buy all 3 conversion harnesses
Have you ever tried just tying all the injector powers together instead of using that plug
I’ve done it that way. But the way I do it now, it would allow someone to plug up a resister box Incase they use injectors that requires the box or bigger injectors
@@YoungStatic makes sense i was just wondering cause i wired mine up that way havent tried to start it yet i wasnt sure if it would work lol
Can you use a stock lx harness?
yes, its also a dpfi harness.
Definitely best informational video on wiring and footage. Wish I had Facebook I'd be spreading your vids.
Could you skip the part where you cut the old dpfi injectors and splicing them into the new injectors. I was running all my new injectors to the ecu and the yellow/black wire on the resistor box to the ecu. I just cut and taped off the dpfi wires. im obd0 as well
Hapkin you did it completely different than what I am showing. If you ran all of them individually to the ecu, sure skip the dpfi cut segment.
ok thanks wasnt sure but very helpful video otherwise!
Why not just swap the MPFI harness?
Because the cabin side harness is wired for dpfi
Static, dem zip ties don’t look like they worked. Cat still up there . Lmfao
Dx end lx its the same wiring righ
Hey man I SUCK at wiring I was wondering if I paid you could you send me a dpfi-mpfi for a d16z6 ?
This would be for obd1 to work with obd0 ecu?
meant for obd0. i just obd1 injectors because its what i had on deck. obd1 and 2, you would then require to get the jumpers.
YoungStatic Thank you for the info.
Very helpful video. Thank u.
I just want to ask u, if you have a extra round connector going to the distributor. I can't find any on my location. If u do, can i buy it?
Grasias amigo logre aserlo grasias aty
I dont ave resister box how should I wire it bro plz
Paul Andreson I’ve seen some wire all 4 wires together with obd1 injectors and run one wire from them to a15 on ecu that’s on a p28
Video is 4 years running with no dislikes 👀
I mean its a video you click on if you in the need of help..
great job!
