    Just did a test in Brugge: Very comfortable and excellent driver support when starting from 0, great accelleration till 25km/h. and easy to ride at all speeds (no need for gears). Only missing a good front light to actually see the road in dark areas.

    Great video! Do you know if the steering wheel goes up? And what is the availability of the components within the bike (is it repaired easily)?

    • @vanmoofer
      @vanmoofer  3 месяца назад

      I guess the steering wheel is fixed but Cross has it higher than ST. Wider tubes give more flexibility and access, making Cross & Cross ST easier to service compared to the other Cowboy lineups.

    Hello , thanks for the review! I bought one too. Can you tell me diameter of the handlebar? Because I want to buy a knog OI bell 🔔 . And there are 2 sizes 😅

    Hello, thank you for uploading the video. Can you send me information on how the bike rides uphill?

    • @vanmoofer
      @vanmoofer  4 месяца назад +2

      Hi there, I was testing the bike in Amsterdam :) Unfortunately, there wasn't a real chance to test its performance on hills. Hopefully, in June, I will test it uphill and also in the forest.

      I’m also really intrigued by a ‘hill test’. Also keen to hear about the quality of the build. They don’t seem to have the best reports TrustPilot?

    It looks cool, but it lacks the features I was hoping for, such as a built-in bell, lock, audible alarm, and Apple Find My.

    • @vanmoofer
      @vanmoofer  3 месяца назад +1

      I was expecting a built-in speaker as well, but Cowboy chose simplicity. A built-in bell, a speaker, means more cables and hardware parts that are prone to failure over time.
      Regarding the audible alarm, they actually have an innovative approach that is already available on all their bikes. They simply use the motor magnets to produce a beeping sound if the bike is moved.
      It doesn’t really need Apple Find My because it already has built-in GPS, and you can track it with ‘Find My Bike’ via the Cowboy App

      @@vanmoofer I have a cowboy 3 with +5.000km and I get the simplicity argument but I’m would really love a build in lock. If veloretti came with one, I would switch immediately.

    What did they smoke when they designed those frames NotLikeThis Maybe they're cool and fund but I really don't like this design :/

      😄 Whenever a new design emerges, people may initially reject it because it's not what they're used to, but eventually, they might come around to appreciate its uniqueness.

    Hey, Thanks for the informative video. I have a question. I currently own the Cruiser ST variant. However, I find the handlebars a bit on the narrow side. This is 57cm, but the handlebar of the normal cruiser is 62cm. What about the Cross variant? The website states that the step over and step through are both 57cm, but I think the video looks like a much wider handlebar than on my Cruiser ST. Can you provide more clarity on this? Thank you in advance!

      @@Fireworkzzzzzzzzzz Hey, I might have some information for you, I have ridden both at a test spot. The handlebars look about the same length, I think. If there's a difference in size it isn't noticeable.

    • @vanmoofer

      so if you visit cowboy.com and check the compare our models section then you can see the handle bar widths for all bikes - for cross and cross it is 57 cm, like the cruiser st whereas cruiser’s 62 cm and classic’s 54 cm
