Love my falsacara lashes! The learning curve is steep. I wear them for 10 days at a time but I wear less makeup because I wake up and look relatively put together. I just use a magic eraser cloth with water and I’m able to cleanse my eye area in the morning. So much less products on my eye daily!
I’ve used these, I’m an optometrist with very mild dry eye. Personally, they were great with no irritation, but I couldn’t wear them more than 2 days. Even more than 1 day felt down right wrong, because they’re a bit uncomfortable when you’re washing your face. I’m very skeptical that people are washing their lids if the lashes are lasting long lol I’ve stopped wearing them because I felt like the glue is a hassle to completely remove. Strip lashes are much easier to remove. I also loved having lash extensions, since you can wash your face like normal. But warm compresses with lash extensions are a no-no.
Thanks for this video ❤ I struggle with papilledema and IIH from CNS-V and most days I feel and look like the dead. I’ve been seeking out hacks to look like I belong in the land of the living and I was on the fence about these lashes because I didn’t want to aggravate anything. But I think I’ll give them a go, now! You made my day!
I Love Falscara Lashes! I keep them on about 5 days along with carefully using micellar water to clean gently around eye area without touching or rubbing. I use Neutrogena’s Gentle Oil-Free Liquid Makeup Remover for Waterproof Mascara to remove them on day 5. I apply the Neutrogena liquid to Swisspers cotton round pads, hold on lashes for several seconds, then rub gently downwards. Works great !
That's what I'm listening for, especially since she recommended not to wear them for 10 days. I don't wear makeup and don't regularly wear lashes, so I'd really love a video on how to remove them.
Thank you for this review! I’m trying to find safe and hygienic lash options. Can you review the new Kiss Impress lashes? They’re like Falscara but pre-glued.
Dear Dr. Rupa, I wonder if you can do a video on lashes people with dry eyes and meibomian gland dysfunction/blepharitis can wear? Im 24 and i feel so insecure since having these issues and still want to feel confident like other women who are able to wear lashes… So many people wear lashes nowadays so I just wonder if there’s an option out there for people with these issues. Would magnetic lashes be a safe option? Or if they were a half magnetic lash instead of a full lash? I do use a hot compress and clean my lids with optase tea tree cleansing gel. I also use preservative free lubricating drops when needed… Thank you for the informative vids as always!
I LOVE falscara lashes….. I actually take them off everyday w/ the falscara remover ( can u give ur opinion on that product) but as I stated, I remove mine every day it only takes a few minutes and because the lashes are so easy to apply, I just prefer to remove them.
I don’t know if you can see my eyes in my profile pic but I am wearing falsecasra lashes! I love them, I wear them 2-3 days with the overnight seal and take them off with vitamin A oil!
I love falsescara but I have realized after a few days my eye lids get really itchy especially in the inner corner of my eye. Now it looks like I have dry skin, can you explain if I have an allergic reaction to the glue? I wear eyelash extensions at times and I’ve never had that problem just with falseara at times
I just started using them after i tried the Kiss Impress Lashes (which stayed on for 3 whole days NO Problem!) and the faslescaras started coming off the first night even with the over night seal. They also ALOT thicker and bulkier. so I started to use the falscara bond, seal and over nighter with the impress natural lashes instead and they're fool proof! i do not wear any other makeup with them and find after about a 2-3 days I just get sick of the feeling of something on my eye and need to take them off and give them a break but they did take a lot of my own lashes with them! so looking for a good lash conditioner or serum to use between applications
I’ve been trying to use falscara for around 2 years now and everytime my eyes feel irritated after application. I applied them last night and now I have a stye. I removed them and I guess they just aren’t for me.
I’ve really come to like the simplicity of these. I remove daily but after a couple days the glue becomes a pain to get off and I use their remover as well as coconut oil. They just came out with preglued Press ons! A little bit more of a learning curve to apply but no residue! Can you comment on those?? 😁
Thank you for this, Dr. Wong!! I was thinking of doing it for the full ten days. I tend to have sensitive easily irritable eyes and now I know this would be a bad idea. I want them so bad, but now I'm kind of worried?
i don't use the bond and seal because they don't really last for me. I use a semi-permanent glue from kiss its called i-envy individual glue. I hope that is also safe to use because it is the same brand😭. I also clean my eyelids multiple times a day with micellar water using a q-tip so oil doesn't build up.
They gave me real bad styes but I have to be honest I did not wash my lashes prior to application. Either way the glue seems to block my eyelids, very hard to get the glue off for days.
It might release formaldehyde in all of the formulations but the vapor from the Falscara is WAY worse for me than the Lashify. They look so beautiful but I want to scratch my eyes out with Falscara!!
Do you really use the solution to take them off? There’s gotta be a better way. I’m gonna use oil and see if that works. Thanks for the review! So much easier than strip lashes.
Hello there, I have retina detachment surgery done 2 months ago when is safe to wear make up or false lashes? Is safe to wear them after this type of surgery? Thank you in advance 😊
I like the look I get with regular false lashes, and I use a latex-free, formaldehyde-free glue. Still, the glue is very aggravating to my eyelids. My lids get red and swollen if I use it and it's three days before my lids are back to normal.
hi didi, please clarify whether kajal is the same as falscara.Very Very Happy Mid Autumn Festival to all of u including Jiju. Kisses to the three little angels. didi, my parents are currently in USA, dancing in my sister's Indian and Taiwanese wedding on 24th of September. feeling distraught here.
Jenna, most lashes contain acrylic resin as an ingredient. So technically it is safe overall but that does not mean you aren't allergic to it personally/won't have a reaction.
They look cute but I won’t be using them anymore, they hurt my lids after I took them off. The glue reacted badly with my eyes & made my upper lid swell up & my tear ducts super painful. They’re also impossible to take off, it took like 4 washes for me and made my lashes hard af.
I use Neutrogena’s Gentle Oil-Free Liquid Makeup Remover for Waterproof Mascara. I apply it to Swisspers cotton round pads, hold on lashes for several seconds, then rub gently downwards. Works great ! I keep them on about 5 days along with using micellar water to clean gently around eye area without touching lashing. Love Falscara Lashes!
I cannot wear falsies with glue on eyelids because after 4+ hrs I start getting inflamed and crusty the next day. I can only wear falsies under my eyelashes such as extensions or magnetic ones. I tried all type of glue even “organic glue” ones LOL Idk what I have. Was told blepharitis but I only get it when I apply falsies with glue then it goes away like nothing happened 😢😒 I will use the impress kiss no glue lashes next.
I’ve been going through basically the same thing and I’ve recently tried the Kiss Impress no glue lashes and my eyes haven’t swelled up or gotten dry and crusty at all ! ❤

Omg.. I must know your technique for a 10 day hold. No matter what I use I can only get 2 days
What is a “magic eraser cloth?”
😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤Lol the 😂😂😂 Oop

Ugh you’re just the best!! You should make a video on what you use to remove them!
Oh that's a good one! Will do!
Yes, what solution do people use to clean their used falsies?
@@shawniehendrix1656 I don’t know the health details of this, but I’ve found that Vaseline works better for me than the solution it comes with!

@shawniehendrix1656 That was my next question.
Yeah, I'm going to return mine. I suffer from blepharitis already and I don't want to constantly have to redo these. Thanks for the info!
Of course! Glad to help!

Sure, I will! Make sure you are subscribed and click the bell so you will see when I post it. Thank you for being here and for your suggestion, Zuri!
Thanks, Dr. Rupa. My eyes are so sensitive that I cannot wear some makeup foundations that contain anti-aging ingredients. I will skip these lashes.
Julie, you know yourself best and that is probably the right choice. Thank you for your comment!
New sub here! awesome video! I was anxious about trying these lashes for my shows. Thank you so much for the useful information ❤
Thank you so much! If you ever have any content you would like me to work on feel free to leave a suggestion. :)

Didn't work for me. I have dry eye and they irritated my eyes to much. The most I could wear them was 24 hrs. I'm back to strip lashes.
Hello Dr. Wong, I am a medical student interested in ophtalmology and make up enthusiast. I really enjoyed your video, thank you so much!
Thank you for this video. I was interested in this type of lashes for my class reunion. I'm going to order a set and try them.
Glad to have helped!
Thanks Dr Rupa, on point ,.as always
Thank you, Jane!
can i use my lash serum while wearing the falscara lashes
Thanks for thr video! ❤️
Fyi, you misspelled lashes in the title.
Thanks for being here!
My question is how damaging are they?
I LOVE falscara lashes….. I actually take them off everyday w/ the falscara remover ( can u give ur opinion on that product) but as I stated, I remove mine every day it only takes a few minutes and because the lashes are so easy to apply, I just prefer to remove them.
How do you get the bond off of your lashes?
I don’t know if you can see my eyes in my profile pic but I am wearing falsecasra lashes! I love them, I wear them 2-3 days with the overnight seal and take them off with vitamin A oil!
They look great! Thanks for sharing and for watching :)
Sadly, I am allergic to formaldehyde releasers and urea so I don’t know if there are any fake lashes safe for me 😞
Oh no! That is so aggravating. I will do some research on that.
The zoesqoq eyelash glue is formaldehyde free. It's one of the few glues I can use
I love falsescara but I have realized after a few days my eye lids get really itchy especially in the inner corner of my eye. Hi Dr. Rupa, did you say that you could use contact lens solution to clean the lashes in between uses? Or something else?

I hope that is also safe to use because it is the same brand😭. I also clean my eyelids multiple times a day with micellar water using a q-tip so oil doesn't build up.
What do you think of Olaplex's new lash serum? Especially the ingredients
Thank you doctor❣️
Most welcome!
They gave me real bad styes but I have to be honest I did not wash my lashes prior to application. Either way the glue seems to block my eyelids, very hard to get the glue off for days.
Yes making sure the base of your eyelids are clean and that you’re applying with clean hands is key!
It might release formaldehyde in all of the formulations but the vapor from the Falscara is WAY worse for me than the Lashify. They look so beautiful but I want to scratch my eyes out with Falscara!!
Great video. Thank you so much. ❤️

It is best to use the solution but you could also use makeup remover or micellar water. Did you try oil? Did it work?
My lashes got shorter and are falling out from leaving them on for days. I’m taking a break. How can I get them to grow back?
I’ve just had a Paul implant in one eye . Which strip lashes are safe for me ?
What if I get a small bit of bond in my eye?
Hello there, I have retina detachment surgery done 2 months ago when is safe to wear make up or false lashes? Is safe to wear them after this type of surgery? Thank you in advance 😊
I’ve noticed that my natural lashes are much shorter when I remove any lash clusters I’ve worn
☹️
That can definitely happen!
My eyelids starting hurting after couple of hours I’ve used them.
Oh no! So sorry. Thank you for sharing that with us. Have you found any that works for you?
Omg this actually helps so much !! I always wonder why does my eyelash look shorter after falsecara and this is the reason lol
So glad this was helpful!
is there any concern of developing subconjunctival concretions when sleeping in these consistently ? 😳
Can the glue darken your eye color? Like how some serums van
I like the look I get with regular false lashes, and I use a latex-free, formaldehyde-free glue. Still, the glue is very aggravating to my eyelids. My lids get red and swollen if I use it and it's three days before my lids are back to normal.

Hi Dr Rupa, thanks for this informative video. Is acrylic resin safe in these types of diy segment lash glues?
Jenna, most lashes contain acrylic resin as an ingredient. So technically it is safe overall but that does not mean you aren't allergic to it personally/won't have a reaction.

That's cuz ypu need the glue dissolver, it's oil based
How do I remove it? Can I just use a normal eye makeup remover?
You can! Or a falscara lash remover or micellar water.
