I bought two of them and one died due to stress from the bumblebee goby's I had in there. Then recently my second one passed. Had him for about nine months. I don't know what killed him though. :/

i think i picked up a small bag at a tropical fish auction a few years back for a buck or two, and i've managed to keep some alive ever since
in the breeder box because i just unboxed them and wanted to show them up close for the video, they are now in the 40 breeders

got some from Adrian about 6 years ago, still have them, pure small 20ish colony ive managed to keep alive and pure. would like to inject some new blood but, we'll see.

1- one has a split tail, not normal, i may cull her from breeding stock
2- crayfish i'll probably offload at local fish auctions
3- it would be too much weight on the floor and harder to take down or move
4- some do, some don't, plant cover helps
Yeah, my lime green show its best coloration under light. Similar to Japan blue, too
When it come to breeding endlers Adrian HD is one of the best breeders (in my opinion ) the colours and quality of the fish are always of the highest standards. Lovely fish by the way, have they breed well or not?

They are fluval breeder boxes
If you want a strong stock of guppies, have a permanent breeding group and put all the offspring in a different tank. If you let the sexes grow up separately (separate by sex within 3 weeks after birth!) you will have virgin females. This is useful if you want more offspring from a particular male (new or from your breeding group). Because you put them with two or three virgins... And only when the females are pregnant do you put them in the breeding group with the male.

hi Adrian, how can you keep under control the breeding? I began 4 months ago with 2 females and 2 males, now there are at least 40 breeding every month it's insane. yesterday I have bought a small tank to separate females and males. it's a bad idea?
Not a bad idea to separate the males/females. Sell the babies or sell to a pet store. That's what I'm doing.

Nice video, subbed. My water is really soft here from the tap. PH 7:2 I am interested in breeding Endlers. Would Aragonite sand be enough to harden up the water ? Would you ever consider a cross breed with guppy? I hear a lot of Endlers are infertile!
+AristotleX2016 you can start with crushed coral substrate, if it doesn't affect the pH enough you can try adding a reactor, i won't cross breed endlers, mine are plenty fertile
All of my Endlers are super fertile to the point I sell 20 to 40 fishes every 2 weeks to a fish shop near me for store credit and I have over 80 of them in a 20 gallon tank.

a few dozen would fit fine, but they'll keep breeding

+Robert Hathaway n class means pure endlers and not possible guppy hybrids, they're origins can be traced all the way back

Is about the female endlres , all the female are same ? Because I saw a lots different type of endlres red , blue yellow but always I saw the same females like assorted that is normal ?

***** If you are interested in helping to preserve the species, you should look for people who can prove N-Class "wild" status of the fish, meaning they originated from wild fish, have never been crossed with guppies, and every breeder can attest to that. After that, go for whoever has the nicest fish for the best price.
i breed many species of live bearing fish you could get some limas and other live bearing species that dont cross breed with guppies and endlers just not to waste space i have about a 100 fish in a 10 gallon good luck !

Why you should let young males and females grow up separately.
You can separate young guppies 2 weeks after birth: the females already have a dark spot on their belly that pregnant females also have. If you do not separate the sexes, males can fertilize females at a very young age. And once they mature, the females will immediately become pregnant. And then you get a huge bulge. Then suddenly you are a millionaire... Millions of guppies...
