    Awesome update. 20 longs are such a cool layout for a tank, and with the right scape they look epic. The small fish in here make it look much bigger. I wouldn't add any other kinds of fish, maybe some shrimp. Thanks for the video!

      Thank you! I appreciate the comment. I like the input about keeping it with the smaller size fish to increase scale. Might just go that route!

    I love the 20 gallon long setup with the green wall color, it makes the substrate pop. I've joined many channels and your the first with the green background because of the wall. I will definitely get a green vinyl background for my tank.

    I wish i was as zen as you are. I desire organization and clenliness like you, but i lack the mental ability to do it sadly.
    These videos are a small taste of peacefullness that i can at least enjoy second hand, thank you :D subbed

    Unconventional superglue tube usage there 🤣
    Loved the intro music as well.
    Have you had any breeding action from the pygmys? They seem like they'd do quite well in there.

    • @WorldofWhasian
      @WorldofWhasian  6 месяцев назад

      Appreciate you! Yeah man, when I was filming that video the lid the was glued stuck and I wasn't having it that day 🤣 no breeding yet for the pygmy's; I don't even know if I have males or females.

      @@WorldofWhasian I'll have to try that method next time. I usually squeeze it, then nothing happens then i snip the tip off and it goes everywhere. This would save a lot of drama in the long run! 🤣

    Thank you for sharing your REAL experience with aquariums to normalize it! There are so many natural occurrences that happen when keeping aquariums and it scares new people in the hobby because people don’t bring it up enough. As long as my fish, snails, etc are happy then so am I. The aquarium has a way of naturally resolving things on its own

    So happy I found your channel… my question… in my experience .. gravel is a catalyst for Cladaphoria and hair algae… anyone else experience this???

    • @WorldofWhasian
      @WorldofWhasian  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for watching! I think gravel can definitely expedite these two. More flow in the substrate probably causes these nutrients to go into the water and allow them to thrive. Trying to combat it with more plants and the peace Lilly!

    Added some endlers to my cpd 20 long breeder, what a great decision I made.

    Beautiful tank! I might have to dedicate a tank for the purpose of trying different scapes. So far, most of my tanks just hold algae as cover for guppy fry. For the majority of what I’m doing, it’s easier to catch the guppies afterwards. But maybe a tank not devoted to breeding experiments would be a good idea.

    Beautiful aquarium ! It's very odd to have any algae outbreak with a terrestrial plants roots in the water. If you think it was the uprooting of some plants, i'd suggest doing a 50% water change. Also, the plants you have are not dwarf sagittaria, but the standard sag , of which can grow over 2 feet long. i grew mine in a low container with clay at the bottom, placed at the back of the tank. They were very happy and grew without spreading all over the tank. Their young shoots look identical to dwarf sag and are mistakenly sold as such, but this plant is harder to find, so let me know if ya want to sell some when ya thin out your herd.

    Really nice video, I’ve also struggled off and on with cladophora, I hate that stuff hah!
    For super glue I saw you using small packets in the video, I’ve switched over to BSI and the quality is actually surprisingly noticeable, the thin and thick serve different purposes but are both awesome
