At 10:30 I saw you got the video out strait from the motherboard's build in HDMI port to the external monitor (without any discrete video card). how did you do that? any trick,?I got the same MOB but never can use that port but had installed the discrete video card
@@Boopolo Thanks for quick reply. Yes I did that too, but still no luck. BTW do you remember which BIOS version of your MOB? Mine is in a latest at Asus site
Yes. You can overclock in the bios. There is also and cpu over voltage jumper near the RAM slots. You may want to consider water cooling the cpu if you are taking that route.
Do not get Corsair Vengeance DDR5 modules. They do not work with it at all. You just get the yellow light all the time even with one tried in every socket.
@@Iced_Out_Soul Connect the monitor to the other socket for monitors not the HDMI. The board screen shows up then. It doesn't when connected to just the HDMI. I got mine running with Two Kingston Fury plug in and play types. Soon as I saw the screen it solved a few issues, such as wrong fan connections.
Check with your motherboard manual. Generally yes. The two grey ones. With this ASUS motherboard it is A2 for one stick and A2 + B2 (both grey) for two sticks. A1 + A2 + B1 + B2 for four sticks. A1 is the black slot nearest the CPU. I am putting a second stick in next week. Thank you for watching
Where can I find the usb 3.2 cable you used? It didn't come with my power supply or motherboard. I just got everything hooked up yesterday but it doesn't run or even start up today.
The 3.2 cables were from the front panel of the case. My case has a 3.2 type C and type A on the front. Have you connected it to the power and reset button on the case. Also have you connected at least one of the 4 pin ATX 12V cables to power the processor.
@@Boopolo I got my computer off of someone on Facebook a while back and started upgrading it recently so unfortunately my case didn't come with this cable. On the other hand, I managed to get it to stop shorting or stopping completely and now just have the issue of my monitor not displaying anything from my computer, even though it works with other devices.
I am not sure what you are referring to. The only wires that come with the motherboard are 2 SATA cables. There is also a Q-connector to make it easier to connect the front on/off, reset, and HD LED on your ATX cabinet.
The new i9 will work on this, but I would recommend a higher end MB for it. By friend in WA bought this ROG Strix Mb for gaming and is very happy with it. amzn.to/3vliqjG
Great video. I recently did my first biuld with the asus z690-a, however I am having issues with it. There are a number of flags in device management>other devices.. Thank you pascal! So glad RUclips lets me zoom in in the install now! What a feature. ❤

Great review and installation! Is there much a difference between the 690-A and the 690-P?
Should be exactly the same. The A has more PCIe and M.2 slots, but installation of the board is the same.

Just remove the video card, and it should default to the onboard graphics. Thank you for dropping by and watching.

Is this motherboard good for i7 12700k to run at full speed while overclocked ?
Yes. You can overclock in the bios. There is also and cpu over voltage jumper near the RAM slots. You may want to consider water cooling the cpu if you are taking that route.
@@Boopolo Okay thank you so much. Yes I am taking the master liquid AIO with it.
Your going to have a real nice system when it's done, that 1660S is going to fill it out nicely, especially with another 16GB ram.
Hopefully, yes. For 4k video editing, it should be fast.
@@Boopolo 12 cores 20 threads on that I7 should do real nice with that GPU and extra ram
Yeah. Gone over budget, but heck, it can be my early Christmas present from me to myself.

I used Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 ruclips.net/video/651bqaUG2Ek/видео.htmlsi=CasEpGJ6dmPnYPHw
I think I’m experiencing this problem right now. Building the PC, mobo illuminates but PC doesn’t start.

If i have 2 ram sticks both should be installed in the light grey dimm slot?

Are you are looking a 20 pin 3.2 header like mine. The cable is very thick. Something like this: amzn.to/3vT5br3

Hello there, Do I need Bios update for 13700K ?
I am not 100% sure, but I doubt it. Thank you for watching

Is it normal for no screws to come with the MOBO? Mine had none...
No, it does not come with screws. Screws are separate. Hope this helps.
Thank you
Would a i7-9700f work on this?
Yes, if it is LGA 1700. Thank you for watching
Does the box include any wires? (sata/power etc)?
One sata cable
As KK said, it comes with a SATA cable. All the other stuff comes with the power supply

Yes. Thank you for watching
Did you build it
will it fit a amd 6650xt ?
I cannot see why not. 6650 is the lower end of the 6 series. Thank you for watching

That motherboard is it compatible on rx 6900 xt?
