Thank you! Despite regular chiropractic care and deep tissue massages, I sometimes get an intense muscle spasm just inside my shoulder blade. Usually I can release it with stretching or rolling on a tennis ball. Tonight was the worst I ever had, none of my previous fixes worked. I remember seeing this video a few days ago. I did all of the stretches and it helped. I will do them regularly from now on.

Excellent explanation, graphics and pain management! I worked out an advanced move with weights in the gym last week and hurt myself. Currently, pain is about 60% but it sits in my shoulder and the muscles down my arm feel so tender. I learned that I likely damaged my Latissimus Dorsi and your exercises help. Thank you.

Wow I’ve had this pain in my back for around 5 months now I think due to either bent over rows with poor form or how I had the barbell placed on my back when squatting. Due to scoliosis my posture is terrible so my back hasn’t gotten any better, I tried this and literally in around a minute my pain is 99% gone I can only feel it a tiny bit in wierd positions. Thank you very much
Just what I needed. Wow. I keep picking up things that pull and hurt my right neck and right shoulder. This helps, thank you. I will continue the exercises until I am better. This has been increasing since my ACDF surgery 11 yrs ago.
These exercises are pretty light and can be done daily. However if you're building soreness, throw a recovery day (or two) in. Thanks for supporting us too!

5:25 - train yourself not to push into your hand, but rather let your hand push and let your neck relax. I have a tendency to push against my hand during this exercise, and it has created more than a few stiff necks.
Hi, i like ypur videos. I wonder if could come up with some exercises for costocronditis when pain is triggered also preventive streches for costochronditis. I hopw i will wait for it :)
Amazing exercises, especially the one for the lats. Oh, and the figure eight one was great as well. I have pain at the front of my right hip, just below the hip bone, when in a squat. I have also a pain at the top of the hamstrings on the same leg. 😅 And why my lateral hamstrings are so tight? 😮
Hi Dr. Rowe. I have fibromyalgia and one of my main symptoms is costochondritis. What are some exercises that can help eleviate it. When I pull my arms back I do feel a stretch but sometimes it can be very painful. Thank you for your help. By the way I do have a chiropractor but they really haven't given me any exercises.

Can I use acupressure mat before doing stretches as an added comfort measure? I have fibromyalgia and noticed my nerves are more sensitive when doing these type of stretches. Or can I use a heat pack before doing these to make myself more comfortable?

I do gym daily since 9 years, the pain is stopping me from continuing my back workout, i tried the exercises my waist is starting to hurt as well now i have 2 area of pain 😔😢
I did this but I leaned in too much and might have pulled the muscle. When you lean in like that you can really put a lot of weight and do some damage. Start out slow with this one especially if you live a sedentary lifestyle like me in your 60s.
Why did this made the pain worse? I hope its not a spinal fracture ?... slighty hurts to take a deep breathe too and my movevility is less due to sudden pain like if i wanna bend over to pick up,my,baby it hurts then i would have to go dead slow trying to avoid the pain.

I'm starting to think you literally just make shit up and fill hopeful viewers' heads with fantasies of a world with 0% back pain. Honestly. None of these videos have done anything for me. Most of the time, I'm feeling stretch or whatever in completely different areas than what I'm supposed to. For the 2nd position in the first stretching exercise with the doorframe, I literally felt all the stretch in the FRONT of my shoulder joint/chest when according to you, I should be feeling this amazing stretch in my back. It makes no fucking sense.

The levator scapulae first exercise did it for me wow.

I went to a physical therapist and he told me to do the opposite. To push my head into my hand. Who is right, confused!
