Just WOW. This match is a show of resilience and patience by you. At some moments I thought you were getting lost and would start making bad calls. But you keep your mind clear and never give up. Really well played, thanks for the video :)
The losses at 28:16 and 28:32 definitely made me nervous. Especially how he got the P4 kill with the Captain's vet1 marked vehicle. It can really punish overextended Axis vehicles. Thanks! :)
Really loving your videos! This one was both an intense match and a nice learning experience. Seeing you adapt and try to overcome fierce resistance was really helpful. Would love to see you analyze some of your losing replays, or take in fan replays to coach others! Thanks, keep it up!:)
Glad you like them! Losing replays and post game analysis will come out this week. I'm so happy about the Observer mode announcement today by Relic coming in eta November, that will give rise to some awesome coaching time! I'll do a raffle system for that :)
Another great video. I really wanna see a video dedicated to how you use hotkeys and control groups. Your way of controlling units and attention to detail seems unique and interesting.
This was such an awesome game because it felt so close (despite you having a lot of points left at the end)! Great to see a match where neither players surrender just because they lose an important unit 👏 Btw is it intentional that you leave vehicle decals on? 🙂
Yeah we contested the VPs pretty evenly this game so they tick slow. I didn't even know you can turn decals off haha i might test with decals off see how I like it :)
@StephennJF it was a feature introduced 2 or 3 patches ago I think. It makes the game a little more immersive because the vehicles look quite a lot more real with the decals off 🙂
At the start of the game either is generally viable. It just depends on play style, what can supplemented from your Battle Group choice and the map. Here I wanted to go T2 and I wanted have have high mobility from the Scout Car, anti infantry from the flak crew, AT from the Jaegar and this map allows for it with long flanks but a hard hitting center to the cut off. Alternatively I could go T3, get the mobility from the 8rad or Stummel, anti-infantry from a PG and earlier 2nd MG42, AT from the Pak40. In the late game, I'll back to T2 or T3 really only for the following reasons. T2 if I need to get some anti-air for a flak crew or Wirbelwind or T3 for a Pak40 (or if team game sometimes a 251 Half-track). I hope that helps. If not let me know of a specific scenario where you might be stuck between the T2 or T3 choice.
@@StephennJF thank you very much for your long answer, I really appreciate it. Yeah generally I don't know what to tech to as wehr...T2 seems good for Jägers and Wirbles and T3 for PGs and paks (also stugs and later nebels) but I really want to know how you decide which one to tech to ;) thanks again
wp and great video thanks a lot. I have a question: since u already teched for Pzg kompanie, what is your thoughts on trading your gren squad for a P gren late game for the extra offensive capability? Or do you value that one gren a lot? Thanks
Great question! I do occasionally do a Grenadier swap to Panzer Grenadier, but this circumstance I want to have more Grenadier squads. Main reason here being is the Grenadier can merge into my support weapons if things get desperate or heal them on the font lines, which you can see at ~ 27:00 I've got 6 different support weapons. If I want to catch my opponent off guard or really need some more anti-infantry then the PG conversion is an option.
Do you ever consider the medical bunker over the base upgrade? 175 MP and 70 munitions instead of 125 MP and 20 fuel. You get 2 medics like the USF tent giving a free reinforcement every 6 causality.
It's the BG that relies off core units most in the early game. My advice to make it most effective Mechanized Battlegroup, go for 3 grens, 1 mg42 or mortar, t1 vet1 training, tech t3 and get a pak40 or 8rad as required. This is the strongest strategy at top level play in my opinion. This video is a variant of what I described above but it explains the thought process well. Nice to see some scout car and Flak30 play, don't see these units enough :D
this brought me back to the great COH1 tournaments and casts! enjoyed the whole game. wp and gg to both players.
CoH1 combined arms coming back!
WP! Great video

StephennJF: nice game, please answer me this. How do you decide as wehr when to go t2 (luftwaffe) or t3 (panzergrenadier)? thank you

Good game, seeing what I can pick up and move up from 900 elo!
Let me know if you've got any questions. Good luck for your games! :)

I do! This is actually a good map for it as well I probably should have gone for it here.
I can't figure out to work with this battlegroup since it has no good early unit such as fallshirmpio or mp40 grens

Can you play some Coh2?
Maybe in the future I'll have a nostalgia session but at present I'm having so much fun with CoH3 :)
