It’s just funny that so many China hatred comments are probably from those who have never been to China, while the RUclipsrs they’re watching are actually there and enjoying their best lives. China welcomes all open minded tourists from all over the world. It’s a massive country with a lot of varieties in different regions. Being this big of course it has its good and bad but so does every other country. Definitely come back again if you enjoyed your first 144hrs, it’s just a teaser.

China haters don't care about truth, they just want to believe in what they want to believe, otherwise their worldview will crumble. China just needs to keep developing and moving forward, so when these asshats', especially the ones with power, worldview do crumble, they cannot do much damage.

Great vlog! A proverb known as "Chen Zhong Mu Gu" (晨钟暮鼓 in Chinese characters) is commonly used, which literally translates to 'ringing the bell in the morning and beating the drum in the evening'. This proverb originated from a ceremony practiced by Buddhist monks in ancient China at the Buddies Temple. Traditionally, the monks would ring the bells first and beat the drum second in the morning, while in the evening, they would beat the drum first and ring the bells second (Maybe reminding themselves to promote self-reflection). This is why, in Chinese Buddies Temples, it is common to find a towel for bells accompanied by a towel for drums. Over time, this proverb has come to signify "utterances that aid in our promotion and seriousness."

An open mind is like a castle without walls. The producers of travel channels are often very naive and foolish; they visit a bustling city center and mistakenly believe that this represents all of China. They are unaware that over a billion Chinese people earn less than $412 USD per month, face immense pressure in education and employment, and that youth unemployment is so severe that the government has recently hidden the relevant unemployment data.
You can try discussing politics on the streets of China, and you will be arrested immediately. If you accuse officials of corruption on Chinese social media, you will disappear without a trace.
The producers of travel channels are unaware of these issues, and they don't seem to care, thus becoming tools of propaganda for authoritarian regimes.

The best way to experience China is always having a proper visa. But in cases you can not wait that long, take advantage of the 144 transit visa. Now take the advantage of that, Hong Kong and Macau belong to China but they are considered “out of boarder”, so you can plan your trip like, flying into China, say from France to Beijing, visit the city with the 144 transit visa with a ticket to Hong Kong; then book a flight from Hong Kong to Shanghai to Macau, so you have another 144 hrs in Shanghai; and then a ticket from Macau to xi’an to Hong Kong... But this whole trip can be really expensive 😂😂 oh keep in mind the 144 hrs start from 12AM the next day of your arrival date. Say I arrive on 2nd, 1AM in the morning, my timer won’t start until 12 AM of 3rd. So I get extra 23 hrs.

I disagree. I made my best effort regarding China. I even learned Mandarin up to HSK 4 prior to traveling, twice, for a grand total of one months travel time. However, I do not recommend China beyond the traveler that has more boxes to check.
The Positives: Chinese people are smart, they obey the law and you are generally very safe from crime. The Chinese government has zero tolerance. Bravo. The tea is supreme. Lastly, there are some profound historic sites and preserves of culture.
The Negatives: China is filthy. The people on average suffer yet are ambitious. Lots of quick and dirty sales mentalities. Doing things cheap (and often sloppy) seems to be the pervasive mentality. While this has improved, it is still pervasive. Lastly, China is not easily accessible. They very much have their own system of doing everything (money, buying tickets, etc.), which is fair, they can and maybe should do so. However, making all the efforts to approach it are not worth it.
Note, the fact that there is a comment saying "I am from Hong Kong, China", shows this comments section is littered with paid actors. Hong Kong people, while I agree are Chinese, do not like to see themselves as such.

Chengdu city is located in southwest part of China, we have panda here and the biggest giant buddha in the world. You could see beautiful gardens and old streets, temples and site museum which has more than 3,000 years of history, and the food here is really delicious, if you enjoy spicy food then you would love the local cuisine, sichuan cuisine is also one of most famous and popular food in China. After your lunch, you can go to a tea house and have a cup of a tea, then enjoy all the relax and lay back life style. At night, you could walk on those streets to see and can get a chance to some grandpa and grandma do the square dancing. I can’t type those amazing things here, but it’s really worth to visit.

That was a pleasant treat. I saw this video in my YT feed. So I watched the whole thing. I loved that you took snapshots of local people and tourists. That put a smile on my face.
Unlike some other travel vlogs, where they claim that in the name of spontaneity they refrain from any research in advance, you guys are prepared with help information. Thank you.

Welcome to China. China has all types of landforms except fjord landforms. Each city has its own style. You can see wooden buildings from a thousand years ago in China, and you can taste countless delicacies in China. You can see beautiful scenery, and it is very safe, with convenient transportation and developed tourism. In short, we look forward to everyone visiting our country and discovering its beauty!❤❤❤

Hmmm, maybe China thinking they own every piece of water within 1000 miles of them, or conducting mock invasions of Taiwan, or supporting Russia and NK? Also genocide of the Uyghurs? Could be just a bit of it? And if that isn't enough, death vans that drive around cities, people disappearing permanently for holding up blank signs in the street, the fact that they pollute more than any other three countries on Earth put together, and about five million other things.
