To be honest, I have watched a lot of videos about foreigners traveling in China, only this couple is my favorite, with basic respect for China, without saying "I thought there was something wrong with China, I didn't expect China to be so good." I feel that the bloggers who say such things are biased against China before they come here and feel that it is not so good, so the expectations are also low. Nor have they always emphasized how much they like China, to make a comparison, "China is good in a certain aspect, and a certain country is bad in this aspect." This so-called praise for China. The whole trip you two are just very easy to experience, the state is most like a pair of high-quality education under the ordinary tourists, too lazy to do the guide, so directly find a local guide to play with. Eating food is also a challenge to myself, although never eaten, very fresh, but also actively try. The food and drink are really authentic. And the tour guide is also very good, introduction will also bring out the Chinese name. Just like when I go to a country for a few days, I may feel fresh and interesting, the people are friendly, the food is delicious, these days are great, it is a good memory, and then the deep level may not feel, after all, 144 hours and not long will make me feel that I fall in love with this country. This is very good, foreigners do not need to love this country, as long as they break the prejudice, harvest a wonderful journey, and will share with their family and friends to introduce China, it is enough. People who really love this country will find a way to stay and become residents, like your tour guides. Finally, I sincerely welcome you to travel in China again. If you come to Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, I can also be a free guide for you, although my spoken English is not good😂.
I think bias is unavoidable especially when your surrounded by it. I think its already amazing that these tourists are coming to China to see for themselves rather than being trapped in their own echo chamber. Not to say that China is perfect- it absoloutely has problems but it's certainly not the dystopia a lot of people think it is so I respect anyone who comes to see for themselves!
@@porcelaincrown I think you are quite right about what a country is like and whether the local people are friendly or not. I think it is more real to go there and see it with my own eyes than to see it in the media. Believe what you see with your eyes. That's more important. I know that many media on the Internet are hostile to China, but we Chinese people still welcome you to travel to China and see the real China, China is always open to friends from all over the world!
There are always some people in this world who close their eyes and stop thinking, refusing to accept new things. But more people are willing to explore, learn, and understand the unknown. Maybe this is why humanity keeps progressing. Thank you to everyone who visits my country with fairness and an open mind. We may still have many problems, but China is always full of goodwill. Good choice going to Mutianyu section. Most of the other people filming Great Wall vlogs are starting at Badaling section and that place is an absolute zoo.
I've been to both sections but I prefer the Badaling because you can see more of the wall. The only down side is the crowd is crazy! Always packed with people!

Hello, I'm from China, and your videos have caused quite a stir in our country. Many people say that the quality of your videos is as high as that of documentaries, and they all enjoy watching your videos. I also do. Thank you both for promoting China to the world. I hope you have a great time in Beijing. And for those foreign friends who haven't been to China, I'd like to say, come to China and explore, it will definitely refresh your previous biases and stereotypes about China.

The wall they're standing on was constructed during the Ming dynasty in the 1500s, making it only 500 years old. The 2000 year old wall referenced in the video is from the Qin dynasty, which was made of rammed earth and has long since eroded.
The Ming Great Wall was largely built upon and extended from the foundations of the Qin Great Wall and other earlier walls, which is why some sections follow similar paths.

I am very pleased to see that both of you are having a great time traveling in China. However, this section of the Great Wall was built during China's Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), so it is not as old as 2000 years, but approximately 400-600 years old. The parts of the Great Wall that date back 2000 years can still be found in some places in northwest China as remnants. These sections are not built with bricks but are made of earth. However, it's understandable that foreigners might not grasp these historical details, just as few Chinese people have a deep understanding of ancient Greek or Roman history.
it s always packed during holidays, you must choose week days when visit ing any sightseeings in china, otherwise it will be like a long queue of 100million ppl

Your video documentary of visiting the Great Wall is superb! 👍👍👍👍❤❤❤😍. Good job and well done ! Lam
Thank you so much, Tommy and Sammy, for capturing your travel experiences in China so professionally. The background music in your video was especially relaxing. The photos you took of Chinese people during your trip beautifully showcase a lifestyle that contrasts with how they are often portrayed in Western media. I mean clearly, they are not living in constant suffering but pretty happy in most of times. No country is perfect, including China, but it is certainly not as bleak as the narrative pushed by much of the Western media.

From micks thai travels been watching you in china glad to see you had a great time and you wasn't influenced by western media
Next year I go to china the great wall is on my bucket list
Enjoy life
I am very pleased to see that both of you are having a great time traveling in China.
It's a marvelous construction feat! The amount of surveying and planning involved is mind-boggling.
哈哈,这么多144小时免签来中国的外国博主,你们是我自己私心最喜欢的一对,视频质量特别高而且还是帅哥美女😍

Hope you guys back to travel in China again!!
Please do come back to China again, your video is so high quality in production and you are very respectful and nice.
I'm glad to see that you're having a great time in China. Welcome to visit China again and experience more different aspects of China.
BTW, Tommy is very refined, and Sammy is very elegant.
Please come back again soon. I really enjoyed the videos you filmed in China! 🎉
It is really one of the best coverage for the Great Wall adventure i have been viewing so far. 👍🏾👍🏾
