For the pizza, try putting the cheese directly on the crust, first, then mix the sauce with the toppings, and put the filling on top.
For the cookies, maybe just do a crumble, instead.

Lovely video (I watched 2 others too). I had the GoSun Fusion delivered today - reading a lot of FB posts and watching YT videos, it seems that if you're baking 'dry' food, you need to open the end of the tube up a little bit once it starts cooking. This lets the steam out and should give a more 'baked' finish. Like i said, I've only just bought mine so I haven't tried baked food yet but opening the tube slightly so steam can escape makes sense.

@@minivancampergal1554 Hi, I've used my GoSun Fusion a 3 times so far (well, 4 if you count using it twice one day). As you probably know the Fusion is a fair bit bigger than the Go and I've cooked sausages (each cut into 4), tomatoes, peppers, onion and potato twice - it was lovely both times. I also did an apple crumble and a rhubarb crumble - both very nice but I didn't open the end slightly either so the crumbles weren't as crispy as I would have liked - next time I think I would do a sponge topping because that would work better with the steam. The last meal I did was using the 12V power supply - the Fusion is a hybrid, solar or 12V/15A used via a solar generator/battery. I did salmon, onion, tomatoes, peppers and potato scallops - there was a lot of veg. That didn't turn out as well because I ran power and didn't realise (rookie error). The salmon was cooked and some of the veg were cooked but the potatoes were only half cooked ... lesson learned! The 12V supply isn't as efficient as solar but in the UK the weather is very mixed at present and we didn't have enough clear skies.I'm looking forward to improving my solar cooking skills though!
I've got 2 GoSun Go's being delivered next week - one for me and one for my daughter who goes backpacking most weekends. They are small but great for places where camp fires or camping stoves aren't allowed.
Enjoy your travels and I hope you get plenty of clear skies for your solar cooking.

If you can afford another oven, the larger diameter oven from KECOP or one of the other Chinese companies that offer them-they are about $200 on amazon. These stoves will fit Mini-Loaf pans and allow you to cook different foods together and/or separate portions.
For those that want to cook meat, the stoves heat to 250F and stay there as the water in the meat boils off. They will definitely brown your meat but it might take cooking longer than the “best” internal temperature-the the meat doesn’t dry out.
These stoves are also great for keeping food warm but you want to let them cool a lot or your food will dry out in a few hours.

The cookies will probably work better this summer and perhaps with less of the dough per cooking session? Like maybe only cook half the dough each session. I'm definitely going to try it once I find the right pot. Ozark Trail makes a budget thin-walled stainless steel cook set with lid. It's not good for cooking on a fire or stove cuz food sticks. But I think it may be perfect for painting mat black (outside of the pan only) to absorb the heat in a DIY solar cooker. Cardboard & aluminum foil or folded & clamped windshield sun shade. Reflectix, basically! Great channel! Thank you for sharing your adventures!

I suspect the trick with putting vegan cheese in there is to bury it beneath the veggies. It would also make putting meals together so much easier, right? While I think I want to make a square solar cooker and give it a try, your pizza looks really, really good!! I LOVE that spice thing. @@minivancampergal1554 This herb is used lots of ways. It's not spicy. The entire plant is edible fresh or dried and its seeds can be used whole, cracked or ground. Fresh, most Americans call it cilantro but, refer to the dried seeds in however form as coriander. It's a savory flavor that's used quite a bit in (Asian) Indian cuisine (which is how I use it most), but when you like the flavor, you'll find yourself adding it to lots of foods like soups, potato dishes, meat dishes, breads. I like to add crushed coriander seeds to homemade flat breads with cumin seeds. Coriander and cilantro are also used quite a bit in Greek food. There's a delicious Greek salad (Tabbouleh) made of cilantro and bulgar wheat that I like to make sometimes. Google it. I like chewing on a seed sometimes because I like the taste. Coriander has health benefits, too, but I never think to use it medicinally and couldn't tell you much about it.
