Hello, thank you for watching my tutorial on how to crochet hats with ear flaps. What you need: Hook size 5 Bernat Cozy Style Yarn Scissors Sewing needle Music: www.bensound.com
This is fabulous! Thank you for taking the time to share it with us. I have a couple of friends who are hunters who I think will appreciate these hats to stay nice and warm. Have a good day. Stay safe, stay healthy.
It’s a beautiful hat but it’s a bit difficult to follow exactly the pattern, i tried but on row 5 you can’t see where she inserted the hook even if i slow down the speed of the video.
@@nazan8406 Hello! The pattern is quite complicated for me to identify where i can add more stitches to make the top of the hat wider, could you help me how?
wish I had watched this The whole way through before starting this project because I'm extremely frustrated because I'm on the 5th row, ripped out 5 times now because I can't follow where she is placing the front and back posts. I've completed extremely difficult projects and i won't give up but I really can't follow the tutorial it is so confusing to me.
I have to edit my post... After writing down the directions she was right the confusion cleared and I was able to make a hat that looks quite similar but not perfect. If my early post seemed rude, I do apologize.
stop the video. the gear icon will appear. click on the gear icon, a box will appear. look for video speed, click on that. i slowed it down to .5 and could easily follow where she was placing hook. hope that helps.
Hi! This is a "Trapper" style hat. If you google Trapper Hat, you'll see images of this type of hat. That is meant to be more of a fold down visor for snow and rain in original Trapper hats. ;o)
Hey, here is a secret... you have the most awesome patterns on RUclips. 🙂 love!
Thank you Al Mack!
Perfect gift! Thank you for sharing. I am making girl hats for my nieces and came across this pattern which is perfect for the boys!

How do you do it so it lays flat? Mine warps and bubbles
I tried. Even after reading comments, I tried, but it's near impossible to see what she's doing, and her explanation is lacking. The hat is cute tho.
Great pattern. Do you have this as a written pattern?
Sorry,I don't have a written pattern.

Great pattern! Please, how much yarn did you use?
Sandra,I don't know the exact grams because I was using a big ball of yarn(it could be 150-200gr)not so sure, sorry about that!
@@nazan8406 Thank you, I will buy 200gr should be enough.

But it will not be stiff enough to stay up when you pull down?
Nice hat, but extremely confusing to follow. Thank you though
I've ripped this project apart 5 times because I keep getting lost.
