I can't imagine how many billable hours went into that one assembly of the entire project. It looks like the shop you work for has plenty of job security, and I am grateful of that and all of the other workers there.
Oh my God, I thought I knew a lot about CNC Lathe, I'm wrong... impressive videos, I'm learning a lot. Great work, keep it up. Gratitude from Santo André-SP-Brazil.

Hey Chris. Awesome videos. I am a machinist myself up here in Canada. Have not worked on a lot of large stuff mainly fixture and mould injection. Were about in the US is the shop
Damn, that was some good machining. Assuming you are producing a lot of these things, I do wonder how often you stop to check for quality control, change tips etc. I was a machinist, quite a while ago.

Steel mills always have the coolest parts. Thanks for the footage of the horizontal mill.

After all that work, to be the last guy to who has to work on it would be very intimidating. Thanks for sharing. Charles
Damn, getting that part indicated in must have been a pain in the ass. Kudos to you!
Nice work Chris.
Always appreciate the effort you make to include so much in each video you post 👍

Man, you guys do an excellent job on highly complex parts.
Amazing work! I thought your indicator was going to cop it when you were horizontal milling! You are a master craftsman.

Astonishing skills, thanks Chris.
That's a fair amount of metal removal there. Very cool parts 👍
Absolutely beautifull bro
I am really going to miss programming and machining (starting a diffrent job in januari)
Niezła sztuka... ;-)
U show me a vision to manufacturing~ thank u bro
Wonderful work as always Chris, thank you for sharing buddy

What is it what does it do. Great work loves it.
Final assembly looks absolutely stunning. Are yall hiring? 😅
Amazing job. It would be cool to see that in action.
Красивый конструктор!
Lot of work in those 🫡
Fantastic
Beautiful!
Clean bro
Those are a whole lot of billets that turn into what seems like 70% chips...
Thanks for sharing 👍
More milling content Chris, that part was scary in the 3 jaw
@theessexhunter1305 yeah, probably could have made 3 videos just from the milling.
Very nice...Thank You...
that's pretty cool what is it a valve or similar
i want to know that the machining you did on lathe, did you use automatic program using G-code or you did that machining manually?
@@keshavsingh2847 fanuc manual guide
Can you show us the milling process? It will ne interessant to see! They done it only in 3 axis mill??
You left the indicator in place so youd know if it shifts??
Tricky work holding when all surfaces are machined*
Hi Chris. I'm very confused. How is it possible to machine a part when there are no tolerances on the drawings. Can you explain? Thanks.
very impressive work but wtf is this for?
It looks like some kind of giant expanding mandrel to me !... 🤔
😎👍☘️🍻
is this assembled wedge for turbines or generators ?
I think it's for a sheet metal spool. 🧐

AWESOME!

Nice :)
There must have been more weight in chips than finished parts.
