2004 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8L Last ride

Last ride in my dads van…
A couple of weeks ago the alternator had decided  it was time to stop working….
As driving on the Canadian roads with the salt from winter driving… I don’t think it would have been worth it to put a alternator in the van

that one looks pretty decent compared to mine. doesn't have terrible rust. those things run forever and ever. mine has 225k miles.

Whats gonna happen to it though? Dont tell me its getting scrapped or something like that
