The one time Jameson admits he’s wrong, and actually respects our webbed hero, only to go back to saying his wrongs as soon as he takes his costume back.
It feels like despite hating Spidey, Jameson has a purpose to bring him down. With Spidey gone, you get the idea Jameson experiences the negatives of the hero’s absence such as Bugles sales going down and Peter no longer working for him.

Zooming out from J.K Simmons yelling, the newspaper cover spinning into frame, Spider-Man bursting through it, the rejuvenated choir singing at full force, pulling out from the gorgeous ballet-like web swinging as though it's a reflection, revealing Dock Ock, the whole thing is an emotional crescendo and each shot seamlessly transitions into the next. Can we all just appreciate how creative these scene transitions are? Feel so comic booky, they help make everything flow smoothly. Unlike the MCU films which are just bland cuts to another scene, these transitions just feel right. Like when Doc knocks Spidey out, the scene transitions by zooming into Spidey's spider symbol showing Harry's house. It helps keep the audience emersed, ya know?
I'm hoping that's why Doctor Strange 2 is only 2 hours 6 minutes. Not because they cut any of the Multiverse lore, but because Sam Raimi just went to town with the editing.

I love how this scene showed that even though Spiderman is back and everyone is happy, the universe is still of balance because Jameson needs to hate Spider-man. Without jameson to criticize him, Spiderman wont be the same
Everything about this scene is perfect. Jonah’s remorse for feeling responsible, immediately switching back to hatred once he knows Spider-Man is back. The build up with the music, the perfect transition of Spider-Man bursting through the newspaper along with the crash of the theme song, followed by one of the greatest transitions I’ve ever seen in a movie with the shot of him swinging zooming out of Doc Ock’s sunglasses. It’s all just perfect filmmaking which the newer movies lack, and makes them feel bland in comparison when talking about the filmmaking aspects.
The hilarious part that nobody seems to mention is that even when he’s appearing sincere, Jonah is so self centered that he thinks *HE* is the reason Spider-Man stopped showing up And yes, this is a perfect scene
The way all the characters scene are really directed in a grounded way makes it more great when Spider-man appears. We suddenly feel a vertige and BAM! We're in the air with him, swinging, no cut, just one long take! Dear Raimi, you knew how to direct a great superhero film like no others.

Can we all just appreciate how creative these scene transitions are? Feel so comic booky, they help make everything flow smoothly. Unlike the MCU films which are just bland cuts to another scene, these transitions just feel right. Like when Doc knocks Spidey out, the scene transitions by zooming into Spidey's spider symbol showing Harry's house. It helps keep the audience emersed, ya know?

That scene at 0:49 always gives me goodbumpes as he swings towards Doc Ock. Danny Elfman created one of the most amazing soundtracks in cinema.

Everything about this scene is perfect. Jonah’s remorse for feeling responsible, immediately switching back to hatred once he knows Spider-Man is back. The build up with the music, the perfect transition of Spider-Man bursting through the newspaper along with the crash of the theme song, followed by one of the greatest transitions I’ve ever seen in a movie with the shot of him swinging zooming out of Doc Ock’s sunglasses.
It’s all just perfect filmmaking which the newer movies lack, and makes them feel bland in comparison when talking about the filmmaking aspects.
The most glorious entrance in cinema history,change my mind.
