For those that don't know the two workers at 2:31 were actual debris workers at the 9/11 ground site. There was an original scene were spiderman was swinging next to the twin towers, but was unfortunately cut off because the movie was still being filmed after the attacks. It's a nice little tribute that often goes unnoticed.

      Forgettable .
That’s why they had to rescue the franchise by bringing in the legit fan favorites . Everything they was good about no way home had to do with this movie Andrew Garfield. Toms spiderman was just along for the ride . The only reason that movie was finally a good mcu spiderman is because it is nothing like the other spiderman films. Everything about it is different.
Mcu movies really are mostly eye candy. They also ruined the hulk . They skip over tons of story for the sake of a big team up avenger movie

1:24 to 1:51 is peak superhero cinema. No action required. Just a young, guilt-driven man who decides to honor his beloved deceased uncle by using his powers to help those who can't fend for themselves and become a symbol of justice, hope and morality. The cinematography, the acting, THE MUSIC (Danny Elfmans score really turns this already great scene into an emotional rollercoaster) and the wise words of Uncle Ben echoing from the off "With great power comes great responsibility. Remember that, Pete... Remember that."
It's a scene that evokes a sense of wonder, admiration and it made me want to go out fight with my hero Spider-Man when I saw it as a young boy with my dad for the first time.
It just doesn't get better than that.

Realistically, it would be the opposite. He'd be loved on Twitter. Spider-Man is a vigilante "do-gooder" who many cops hate and want arrested, defying their orders in order to save people. Cops really hated him in The Amazing Spider-Man 1 (they hunted him down and one shot him the leg). Raimi still captured this dynamic but in a fun way at 2:43, haha. A cop was going to arrest him but let Peter go to save a woman from a burning building in this movie as well (it was just Dafoe though).

@Jay Ryan I am seriously starting to suffer MCU fatigue. The movies are all very cookie cutter in terms of design, writing and execution. There is more style than substance, and quite frankly, it shows.
The Raimi Trilogy, the Dark Knight and the first two X-Men films by Bryan Singer really built the foundations of super hero cinema. And I'm sad to say that the house of cards that Disney erected on that foundation is starting to wobble.
The MCU as a whole would have been so much better had it not been under the control of the house of mouse.

You know it's possible to like one take on something and not needlessly bash another? Even if you don't like it. It's just people circlejerking about what was arbitrarily part of their childhood being arbitrarily better.
It's just funny because your take doesn't even make sense. I could point to similar scenes as this in the MCU Spidey movies - did you just not watch them and you're talking out your ass? Peter went through similar grieving scenes about Tony.

Since Peter wasn’t looking to help other people with his powers, it feels incomplete, like something’s missing.
