JK Simmons truly nailed this character. Thats why Toby's spiderman version was great because almost all the cast fit their roles especially Jonah Jamison.

As kid I didn't appreciate his character at all, now as an adult I find him funny as well and probably the most memorable character in the whole trilogy
I believe JJJ liked Peter a lot, he would never actually fire him.. they all knew he was a genuinely good kid trying to make his ends meet. Despite all that petty behaviour he has a good heart we all saw that multiple times.

Dream Chaser Robert Downey JR as Iron Man, Heath Ledger as the Joker, and Hugh Jackman were all amazing casting choices but none come close JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson. He owns this role

Talk about being comic accurate... Watching him act is as entertaining as reading a comic, so much passion in his expressions, and it comes out so naturally, doesn't feel forced... It legit feels like they made a synthetic body and transfered the consciousness straight out of the comic
