I always rate boardgames based on if they could break families or friendships apart and this game and it's lying system seem like they could cause unmendable rifts

But seriously though, thanks for covering this game! I played it a few times growing up and quite enjoyed accusing my siblings of forgery, desertion, libel, etc. Oh, and don't forget to claim $100 G's if you land on the money spot right before START

Having no penalty for an inaccurate accusation is a major balance issue.
It is somewhat balanced out by the accuser needing to land on a specific space. It's more risk/ reward of if you think someone will land on the press box space before you pass go. You won't be accused for cheating every time you get a card simply because people will not always have the opportunity to accuse you.

@@Ametistiit's just the game being realistic. Intentionally lying about your political opponent never yields a penalty for politicians
The amount of (basically) free obscure board games we could have if this man just devoted a fraction of the time he spends learning about board games to learning how to make tabletop sim games
This sounds incredibly interesting and fun, but also massively overcomplicated and not finished. I would call this the rough draft of a truly great game.

I don't like how the game spaces force you to lie cheat and steal, I think it would be better if the player had the choice to play a good honest game but lying cheating and stealing just made winning much easyer.

There should be a punishment for the person accussing of lying about the money if I was not lying, no? If not, I can just accuse everyone of lying every time I fall in the blackbox. Or am I missing something?

That's exactly the point. Having no strong punishment for accusing people of lying means it's always beneficial for someone to accuse others. It's critical to instigate distrust during the play sessions.
As it is right now, you can always accuse others, but what about the social consequences? Part of lying is convincing others so they won't want to accuse you, or they won't know what exactly. You have to think of how you look at least a little bit.
