You win by not dying and reproducing. A bad series of rolls could just straight up kill you / end in game over. For some reason, knowing random trivia can save you from dying. You know, conceptually it’s pretty realistic.
Since the designer was never credited and the publisher was only ever known as Biogames Canada Ltd., there's a good chance that it was made by a group of health class teachers with money.
I ordered the game. It just got here today. I am going to take scans of everything and give them to someone who knows how to make mods for tabletop sim so more people can play it.

(some of the trivia is questionable, but I'm fairly certain the milk fat question is entirely wrong, and I definitely didn't go through the entirety of each deck)
AIDS *is* properly thematic to be frank. It could have forced a sacrifice of all antibodies for absolute flavour-based design but would have been a balance nightmare.

Just a minute ago, I vaguely recalled playing a linear roll and move game where the players are food passing through the human digestive tract and are slowly digested, and yes, ultimately into 💩. Throughout players answered trivua questions about the human body in similar fashion to this game. I genuinely remember being deeply fascinated instead of disgusted with it. Although I have forgotten its name and the death of Flash means even if I find it it is likely defunct, the takeaway still stands that children will probably be more fascinated than horrified by Biogenics and it could straightforwardly be used to springboard The Talk for older children. And one last word: what a missed opportunity to title the video "Game of Literal Life"
The weird part is that genital herpes is so dangerous in this game when it’s *almost* a non-issue in real life. You might itch sometimes and there’s occasionally birth complications, and that’s really it.
