for those who left negative comments: this lady has a thyroid issue. try looking that condition up and you'll find out why her edges have fallen out. those buns aren't what's causing her to lose her edges. I can say this because my daughter had hypothyroidism (which caused her to be thin and to come out). you never know what a person is going through but rude comments doesn't help them
MsTweet37 you're more than welcome. people have an issue with having compassion for someone else. they'd be 38 hot if someone said mean things to them.
#justicebutler if you followed #mstweety37 other videos you'd know she has thyroid issues. it's not an excuse to let your health issue be known. for the simple fact there are countless women out there fighting the same issue. it kills me to see how insensitive the world had gotten. yes, there are women who wear weaves. however, not all of us have to wear weaves. then there are some of us who wear them because it's not in our DNA to grow long hair. also, if you haven't been affected by something (that causes you to be self-conscious) then you should express your unneeded comments. my daughter was affected by this issue. so when I see someone else being bullied I stand for those people. much love #mstweety37
So true. We are geniuses of invention. There needs to be a Museum of Black Hair Care (if there isn't one already) because for innovation alone - never mind style, creativity, technique or method - we deserve recognition. Black hair care is a historical success story
I just wanted to say, I don’t know what made you think of this, but you’ve really saved my life and I mean that . I’m 20 and I’ve struggled with traction alopecia since I was a young girl at no fault of my own. It’s had a huge toll on my confidence. I literally have tears in my eyes watching this. I’ve been watching ways to save my hair videos all night and none of them brought me to react like this. You are most definitely doing gods work ma’am. Keep walking in your purpose!
I clicked on this video out of pure curiosity to see how she could possibly make hair appear in place like that and I'm blown away. Hair is truly an art. This woman is an artist. She just helped alot of people I'm sure, and free of charge at that. I'm so impressed. I will save this video for if I ever meet anyone who has use for it.
There are a lot of people with negative comments or suggestions on things people should do to promote growth or the health of the hair but forget about the people with medical issues such as thyroid problems that can cause permanent thinning or baldness. This is very creative and appreciated by the people that have tried everything else especially! Thanks for sharing!
MrsPut2gether you're so right I have seen so many people doing things to make their edges look fuller this is the best I have seen .. people are going to complain and be negative that's just life.. go get right .. thanks for sharing be blessed
mrsput2gheter the people who are negative are just jealous because she is helping sisters look good and with edges to match now they don't have anyone to talk about. she helped more people than them and they cant. so now women with thin edges can look beautiful also while growing their hair out.
There are 539 people who thumbs down on this video. Who the hell is it who would not like this solution to a problem that a lot of women have. I think it is a brilliant solution!!!!!!

Praise the Lord for you sister on your excellent tutorial. I know you said this method was used for your edges, but they are so many ladies suffering from hair loss, as related to bald spots. Alopecia areata, hair pulling, and chemical / medical drugs which cause hair loss. This method can help several people feel better about themselves. Thank you and God Bless.

It is no accident that I found your channel. I am so grateful to you for sharing this information. your video has added value to my life and It has given me new hope for my hair. I am 55 and tired of wearing weaves and wigs because my sides began to thin as I got older. I am so hyped right now. I am going to order the product right now! Watch your blessings come back to you!
The Bellclapper During the time that you are using this method, may I suggest that you use black castor oil.If you have not done so already, try applying it to thinning areas daily. All the best.😊
Very creative. You did a good job! I watched this video out of curiosity and I must say very innovative for those who have issues with their edges. We ALL have a struggle and something we aren't satisfied with about ourselves. I'm kinda taken back by the condescending, reprimanding, advising comments. If you fully watch the video she says the steps she's taking to get her hair back. She found a temporary method that works for her, she shared it & hopefully others with this issue will find it useful.
I'm so sick of people joking and making fun of people with thinning or lost edges. It's getting old. We need to be helping and encouraging one another to help prevent this from happening. Proud of this young lady for finding an option that can help others and for finding a remedy to help her own hair grow back. Good for you Sista!

Now, sis...this is Wisdom! This is a very helpful video, especially for people who hair follicles are closed and people who have alopecia! You're going to continue to bless a lot of people with this one girl👍👍👍!!!
I could hug you! LOL! I have been covering up my struggle edges with scarves for over a year.... Alopecia UGGGGH! I am definitely going to try this... thank you! :)
blessbeloved did you know u could get shots in your bald spots and that hair grows right back? my daughter has that and her hair grows right back but in a really fine texture!!!
I got the shot for MONTHS .. didn't work for me at all.. my scalp stayed skin smooth :( ... I'm happy for your daughter. My dermatologist told me it was a chance that it wouldn't work. There is so much about it that they don't know.
blessbeloved. For all of you with some type of illness that causes scalp conditions... My dermatologist gives me the shots and uses a uv light. And for home he gave me a rx for CLOBETASOL LOTION AND SHAMPOO AND WITH ALL THESE THINGS MY HAIR GREW BACK! That was over a few years ago.... I was able to wear dress dredsthat grew past shoulder.. Now due to illness coming back and severe stress all of a sudden hair started falling again and had few bald spots... So I'm back to Dr and going through this all over again.. SO I APPRECIATE THIS VIDEO MORE THAN YOU COULD KNOW.. I ONLY HAVE THIS PROBLEM AT MY TEMPLES.. SO I APPRECIATE YOU VERY MUCH!
this is genius. I can't wait to do my grandma hair now. she has been balding and do not like wigs so this will definitely help bring back her confidence. thank you for this tutorial.
you deserve a "STANDING OVATION" for this hunny!!!.... do you see how many women you have reached with this, and the fact that g2b has been right in my face, l never would've thought of this 🤗🤗🤗😘
HOLY CRAP!!!! THAT IS AMAZING!!!!! I've never seen anything like that before. I loved how quickly the hair looked natural as you were placing it on. Love this!
Omg, the results were absolutely amazing, I wouldn't have suspected a thing if I saw this in person. Love this tutorial ❤️ Ps. All the haters saying "black women should take better care of their hair blah blah" please note that some of us have the type of hair that falls out or thins for no good reason. There are nights when i go to bed with a full perimeter of edges and wake up looking like my sister in the video, so i completely understand her struggle.
Deja Carter its true. If you take better care of your hair it will not be this way. Its all the product and weeks and braids you put in your hair (generally speaking). You people say you love yourselves but never ever show your natural hair because your so busy hating on lightskinned women like myself and putting blonde wigs and brazilian hair on your head. Your type of hair is the most delicate hair there is. Take extreme care of it and it WILL grow at the same average pace as any other hair. Do research. This is sad. Thank goodness i have great hair and light skinn lol👌😜
Deja Carter I absolutely agree, I started taking Vitamin d 5000 iu a day. 1 pill. It made a huge difference. I have hypothyroidism, MS, Parkinsons and the list goes on. But my hair isn't falling out anymore, and it's a natural antidepressant as well.
Out of all the other “insta-sides” videos on RUclips this one is one of 2 videos I’ve seen with the best and most realistic looking results. The sprays and/or coloring the sides have never satisfied me but this way is A1!🙌🏾👌🏾👍🏾. Thank you so much for this very detailed video Queen. I’ve struggled with having no edges for most of my childhood and all of my adult life so after seeing this I feel so relieved and satisfied it’s crazy🙏🏽😌 . I wish you all the best and be blessed!!
It came out fantastically! Beautiful! We as black women will make a way out of NO WAY to fix a problem!! You did that! Your hair will eventually grow back, but in the meantime.. Problem solved. TFS and God bless you!💚😘
TRULY NEEDS T BE A WOW BUTTON!!!!!!!!!......With the jamaican black castor oil you have to massage it then steam the scalp to open the poors. I started off using the real one from jamaica it is way more effective and stronger yet more expensive but I had spots that wouldn't grow back at for weeks...I mixed jamaican castor oil with my conditioner massage it into the scalp the applied 2 shower caps and sat underneath hair dryer for 45 mins then rinsed off after 1 hour. I now make my own hair treatments but I turned thin hair that I have had seems forever into thick hair that grows constantly. You should see hair growth after this within 3-4 days. Leave hair with just castor oil around edges do not use any gels or other chemicals for 2 weeks.
Where can I buy real jamaican oil. I brought Tropic Isle Living from Walmart which was real black and then I brought some from their site and it wasn't as dark. I was getting some growth with the one from Walmart, but not from the second bottle. Thanks in advance for your response.
My first time on the video and love love the advice. Struggling with growing around the hair line. Need advice on what to buy from Amazon to start the hair growth. My hair is thin around the hairline and i use an extension ponytail which I sometimes wear in a bun. I still would like my own hair to grow though. Also in my 50s.
I have very thin edges as a result from graves thyroid disease, medication and aging. It’s nice to see a video that addresses this problem. Absolutely loved it. Thanks!
I am a cosmetologist and I absolutely love doing extensions and have worked with all hair types and textures. Got to be glued is one of my favorite go to's, for short spiky hairstyles, A-lines with back spikes, and smoothing hair. It will become flaky looking on the skin sometimes, just wet it. I absolutely love that you demonstrated this. I have done this myself on clients. I will always be learning, but a good friend of mine in Alabama who worked under me for awhile, opened her own shop and asked if I would be her partner, so Of course I did. The shop was primarily black clients, and I am a child of God, I love all people. I was just so excited to learn how to work with the hair, and teach my friend how to work with the majority of white peoples hair. I will tell you what, I expected some people to absolutely refuse to have a white person do their hair. But the people who put their faith in my experience were very pleasantly surprised, and became long time clients. I had clients who would fly me out from PA to AZ, just so I would razor cut their hair. I am not able to work full time in a salon anymore because of MS and parkinsons, but I love watching all these videos, and learning the different techniques. I never did really get my cornrows as tight as my bff did, but she had 3 daughters who she had braided all the time. And they absolutely loved to sit in my chair or in my lap so I would do their hair. God I miss them. Sorry for the small book.. lol
Wow. So glad for your experience and knowledge, and that you were where you were supposed to be to make that happen; be apart. I am upset that you are diagnosed with MS, on top of Parkison's, however. May God bless you. Perhaps you can volunteer at high schools, and teach those interested what you know. I know what MS and Parkinson's entails, so shine your light honey, as long as you can. Pass that torch.
I'm truly inspired by your comment. I too am not able to work because of MS and Grave's Disease. I would LOVE to chat with you more sometimes. Please message back if you are ok with it. I love to do hair and also LOVE your hairstyle.
Thanks Girl I needed That !!!!! I can do this. So Glade I Founded You. Yes I did Subscribe to You. Can't wait until next Time. Thanks for Sharing ! Clo
Pony tail is absolutely one of my favorite hair styles but can't do it anymore because of alopecia but now that I see your video will sure give it a try, thank you so much 😘😘😘
It's crazy. A lot of people are getting alopecia. Kinda developed 3 months after I stopped depo Provera birth control. Hair vitamins worked a bit. I usually use the black gel by creme of nature
I’ve tried doing this myself and it was always a dismal failure but yours is “hands down” the BEST tutorial I’ve ever seen on filling in thin edges. Can’t wait to try it. Touch’.
5 years plus one month from when you published this videko and I stumbled across this video. You have given some hope that I can look and feel somewhat pretty again. The loss of my edges has messed with my self-esteem and confidence big time. THANK YOU SIS! I wish you would have patented this technique before the Instant Edges lady. You are a blessing!❤😘 The final result was GORGEOUS💣❗❗❗💣 P.S. How are your edges doing presently?
Beautiful. I made my edges grow by using coconut oil, castor and olive oil mix. I'm just to nervous my edges will come out by using glue gel. Your hair looks stunning!
Lady J Allday it's just gel that is strong so I guess that's why they use glue in the name but it's on of my favorite gels that actually holds all day 😊
Don't judge me, I use the Health food store brand in my area. Along with castor oil and Olive oil. within two months, my edges have grown over 2 1/2 inches and it thick.
I read some comments, and obviously lot of people did not watch the entire video and missed the part where you talk about taking care of your hair and growing it back. I think you solution is very innovative and I am glad you found something that works for you while your hair grows.
Hi... girl I just want to say you had my eyes wide open..I was like WOW!!..you have enlightened me so.. because I have thinning edges..and like you my favorite, favorite hair styles are up sweep ponytails..I've worn my hair up in versatile ponytails since I started combing my own hair in the six grade..so I feel you on the ponytail tip... BTW your up sweep ponytail was beautiful...I will most definitely purchase this product..thank you so much..P.S...you have beautiful eyes.
I took this method a step further and used it to add highlights! What a way to get the look I want and not damage my thinning hair! Thank you so much! ❤️
That's Amazing and it truly Works! I did it and I Love it! Go to Wal-Mart it cost $3.68, the Yellow or Black. Black one is the Best because it Clear Gel and it's stronger! My suggestion is, if you like it & you know you're going to be using it, then STOCK up on it, while it's Cheap! Cause the prices will GO UP when everyone gets the hang of it!
I didn't read through all the comments, but got2b glued is around $4 at Wal-Mart, if it helps anyone. It's usually in the area around the Bed Head products.
I'm a hairstylist and I must say you did that better than some stylists work I've seen. that was great! looks VERY natural! And I love got2b glued...I keep a bottle at all times lol. New subbie :)
I don't have problems with my edges. the thumbnail tugged at my curiosity on how you got your edges to look natural. all I can say is WOW! great work. very resourceful idea.
Clever. I think I have spent about $250 this week buying hair products and experimenting with different styles. So far, so good. My grandchildren have not laughed at me (to my face) lol
this video gave me all kinds of life! I had brain surgery a few years ago and all the meds that im currently on now have taken an affect on my hair, mainly around the edges in the front. I appreciate u for this video because now...I C THE LIGHT! EDGES HERE WE COME! lbvvs
It's been 36 yrs since I wore my own hair because of Trichotillimania and I jus wish I could wear an updo or a ponytail for that matter! I have been so distraught over the years and depressed because of my lack of hair. I live in Chicago, a city where they slay hair constantly and I look at these women with such awe. If there is ANYBODY out there that can help me build my self-confidence by doin this style to my hair I will be your guinea pig and would owe u my life. I'm on these pages constantly looking for ways to do my hair, conceal my shame but I just can't do it like the videos and I can't afford to go to the shop. I jus feel less than a women because as we all know, a woman's crown is her glory. Thanks for the video though, gives me much motivation!
HONEY... HUNTY! WHERE WAS YOU WHEN ALL MY EDGES FELL OUT POST PARTUM... YOU DID THIS ... YOU GOT MY VOTE FOR PRESIDENT. IF YOU CAN FIX STRUGGLE EDGES YOU CAN FIX ANYTHING!!!!
All I can say is girl you are amazing!!! This is an answer to a hair problem so many women have suffered from. Thank you for sharing this information. You look beautiful!
I love this video because my edges are exactly like yours and always want my natural hair to breath from sew ins and braids and wear a ponytail without feeling like everybody is looking at my hair. Thanks for that tip on how to help my edges look natural and I can wear the styles I missed wearing. Thanks
I've did this for years however you have to be careful not to become addicted to this procedure because it can Easily cause more damaged to your gentle edges. Good luck.
this is an innovative video...I'm working on a natural formula in my organic line for stressed areas of African hair so hopefully my Queens will eliminate issues such as thinning edges.

biggsexxy61314: lol I love your emojis.
This tutorial just saved me from falling into a depression.. Thank you so much Sis! ❤😘
Omg, the results were absolutely amazing, I wouldn't have suspected a thing if I saw this in person. Love this tutorial ❤️
Ps. All the haters saying "black women should take better care of their hair blah blah" please note that some of us have the type of hair that falls out or thins for no good reason. There are nights when i go to bed with a full perimeter of edges and wake up looking like my sister in the video, so i completely understand her struggle.
deja carter thank you
Deja Carter yea i agree with you, i don't think people know what alopecia is.
Latashia Scott but then you have those trifling women who don't take care of their HAIR always claim to have alopecia
Thank you so much
ooh, what's the other video?
@@delashay6246 I will look for her name she lives in Pensicola Florida they come in a pack .
It came out fantastically! Beautiful! We as black women will make a way out of NO WAY to fix a problem!! You did that! Your hair will eventually grow back, but in the meantime.. Problem solved. TFS and God bless you!💚😘
Jennifer Johnson your right and thank you so much
This is amazing! you can't even tell wow
nikcol1977 hell yea nice
Black Girl magic!!!
Goddiva Thomas black girls magic
Goddiva Thomas Incredible!
I have the same issues with my edges. JESUS BLESS YOU!!!! I can now wear a bun on the top.
Girl me too 😂
TRULY NEEDS T BE A WOW BUTTON!!!!!!!!!......With the jamaican black castor oil you have to massage it then steam the scalp to open the poors.
Keepin IT Uniqu'e thank you
Where can I buy real jamaican oil. I brought Tropic Isle Living from Walmart which was real black and then I brought some from their site and it wasn't as dark. I was getting some growth with the one from Walmart, but not from the second bottle. Thanks in advance for your response.
I would like to know where to purchase the jamaican castrol oil?
@@diamonddiva227 Amazon and Walgreens
My first time on the video and love love the advice. Struggling with growing around the hair line. Need advice on what to buy from Amazon to start the hair growth. My hair is thin around the hairline and i use an extension ponytail which I sometimes wear in a bun. I still would like my own hair to grow though. Also in my 50s.
Also, try adding in some organic rosemary essential oil. Helps to stimulate hair growth. You did an Amazing job!!!
This is ingenious...Who would have thought of that
great.
I have very thin edges as a result from graves thyroid disease, medication and aging. It’s nice to see a video that addresses this problem. Absolutely loved it. Thanks!
I mean this with all due respect: bytch you did that. 🔥🔥🔥

chiquitha cornelius thank you
MsTweet37 You are so welcome.
chiquitha cornelius .....Yes she did!

Wonderful story, God bless you sweetie.
Ma'am you are a genius! That's beautiful, thank you for sharing & helping others!

You are a blessing!❤😘 The final result was GORGEOUS💣❗❗❗💣
P.S. How are your edges doing presently?
Beautiful. I made my edges grow by using coconut oil, castor and olive oil mix. I'm just to nervous my edges will come out by using glue gel. Your hair looks stunning!
Lady J Allday it's just gel that is strong so I guess that's why they use glue in the name but it's on of my favorite gels that actually holds all day 😊
Lady J Allday what brand of coconut oil u use?
Don't judge me, I use the Health food store brand in my area. Along with castor oil and Olive oil. within two months, my edges have grown over 2 1/2 inches and it thick.
what's the health food store brand name?
Luchina Butler anything organic. a good coconut oil brand is spectrum but there really is so many.
I read some comments, and obviously lot of people did not watch the entire video and missed the part where you talk about taking care of your hair and growing it back. I think you solution is very innovative and I am glad you found something that works for you while your hair grows.
Makeda Wisdom thank you so much for your kind words.
You are welcome sis :)
MsTweet37 VERY VERY GRATEFUL TO GOD 4 THIS !

Is your hair relaxed?
Hi... girl I just want to say you had my eyes wide open..I was like WOW!!..you have enlightened me so.. because I have thinning edges..and like you my favorite, favorite hair styles are up sweep ponytails..I've worn my hair up in versatile ponytails since I started combing my own hair in the six grade..so I feel you on the ponytail tip... BTW your up sweep ponytail was beautiful...I will most definitely purchase this product..thank you so much..P.S...you have beautiful eyes.

Paws On The Runway awesome
Great Idea
That's Amazing and it truly Works! I did it and I Love it! Go to Wal-Mart it cost $3.68, the Yellow or Black. Black one is the Best because it Clear Gel and it's stronger! My suggestion is, if you like it & you know you're going to be using it, then STOCK up on it, while it's Cheap! Cause the prices will GO UP when everyone gets the hang of it!
Ms. Detroit how is it when removing?
Good idea! I live in Detroit too btw.
Giiiiiiirrrrl... I mean YES!! HELLZ YES!!! That was amazing.. 👏👏👏👏 Bravo!!!
Superkalefragilistic lol thank you😊
I didn't read through all the comments, but got2b glued is around $4 at Wal-Mart, if it helps anyone. It's usually in the area around the Bed Head products.

+MsTweet37 oh my goodness I love it I have been hiding my edges forever, how do I get rid of the white flakes
