🥳🥳🥳 Thank you SO much for being such a beautiful, caring and open person by sharing your story and about your own struggles with hair loss. I’ve been married to my beautiful husband 25 years and he has yet to see the damage my hair has under gone 😢. I wear wigs, my hair has gotten long, but I have a bald ring around the front of my forehead to my sideburns I’m working on. You have made things so clearer and easier. Thank you 🙏 my Sister!
The best product to use to fill in your edges a healthy way is with the African Pride black castor Miracle Cover edge control. It has the growth protector in it as well as filling in your edges. You must be careful with Jells and products with alcohol and sulfate in it which takes your hair out especially your edges.
Thank you for that important information
Yes. Real game changer
What about the false straps for edges like ay hair????
Thank you u r not alone
Baby hair
Thank you so much for your candor. I also had long thick beautiful hair, I always received a lot of compliments on my hair, so I really felt you when you share how you miss your hair. It is nice to know I am not the only one. Thanks for your authenticity!
Thanks for sharing, cause that's a area that I have with my edges as well. And I do the same as you to fill in the edges. Thank you for sharing with the world, and myself. Now I feel better about myself. You look fabulous !
Thanks. I saw someone else do this on their video. It works pretty good as long as you can blend it seemlessly to make it look natural with your hair.
You are stunning….with or without edges…i don’t have edges and i am a hair stylist….wearing to many wigs for over 16 years they have always been thin so this will help. Thank you…when you don’t have edges hair styles are hard…if your missing hair in the top or back you can kind of hide that…but edges are very hard to hide
I'm jealous of her pretty skin!
I thought I was the only one who was going through this issue. Thanks for the great tips 💕
Me too. A head full of hair and thin edges
Believe me, you are not! There are so many women going through various degrees of loss of edges! I’m actually wishing for her amount of edges! 😔
I shole will be doing this!!! Go head girl made u some edges and I like that tip. I like the mascara better cute🤎
glad im not alone in this...no one will ever understand unless they're going through this
I have been using this color stick for years and it truly is a game changer.
Wow! I'm amazed how using mascara. could work! I may give this a try. I bought tbe stick tried it once didnt care for the feel but I'll try again. So frustrating not having your edges, lost mine due to meds.
Thank you for this video much needed God bless beautiful technique

I appreciate your candor and your tips and tricks.
Beautifully done
Thank you I felt what you said girl keep your head up great vid new sub! ❤
Thank you for sharing beautiful!
I’ve been using the mascara for years..Good advice
I use mascara to fill in my edges. I just recently had in some Senegalese twists done and it took out my edges! So I have to grow them back! I'm sticking to protective styles and no more twists for a while until I get my hair back healthy again.
I got Senegalese twists and it took five years to grow back my edges. Get a wig for rough hair styles. The older we get the more brittle our hair anyways, I don’t even use relaxer and barely straighten my hair. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices for ourselves.
I like the mascara better ! I love it❤️
Good idea London thank you 😊👍🏽
Thanks for sharing. I like the mascara side Better. More natural to me.
I use blk eyeliner or charcoal edge control
Yes I do agree it looks more natural to me to.❤️
Braids in college did me in! I have fine hair so my edges look like yours
Thanks so much for sharing your story

You're adorable! I love it. I've tried both methods for years. It's all abour what makes you feel good about you. 💯🥰
I have the same hairline, but born that way. I like your suggestions ❤️ I often use eyeshadow and mascara on my edges. I DO like how the brown stick blends in so well. THANK YOU for sharing this idea.
Awesome
You did a great job 😊
I did lose my edges totally too, but I am trying my best to grow them back fully. I refuse to apply anything on my edges that may stunt the growth. I will continue to do protective styles where the hair falls over and hide my bad edges. The only thing that touches my edges is black castor oil or biotin oil together with massages at night. I also take the biotin capsules daily and I tried my best not to sleep on my sides because I want them to breathe😃🤣. I don’t touch my edges to add any dyes, color sticks or any chemicals because it may cause further balding. Today after 3 months, I have hair all over my edges, still isn’t long enough to braid, but long enough to see no baldness. Please people, unless it’s a medical issue, take care of your edges the right way, don’t irritate them or camouflage them with things that may prevent growth. Bald edges aren’t cute.
I just recently got put on a med that doctor said may thin my hair so I am watching these videos in preparation in case I lose my hair/edges. But I must say - I think education amongst us on how to PREVENT edge loss is not there. Young females need to understand that all these weaves and hair damaging things just aren't necessary. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Like why are we bald??? We have the thickest prettiest hair type on the planet and many of us are walking around here with thin/bald hair like... Really? It makes me sad to see what some people will do to their hair to fit a standard.
Sometimes bald edges wasn't a choice, so it might not be "cute" to you, but folks gotta work with what they got, and living yourself regardless of the flaws that other people throw onto you, well that is cute, even beautiful in itself so at THAT point.... you should have kept that last comment to yourself. You would think you would have been humbled having been a sufferer yourself at one time 🙄
Looks nice. Yes this is what I di
Gorgeous lady. Beautiful hair.
God bless you for being real
THANK YOU LOVE ❤️😇💯
you are a doll!
I love this video
I took my edges for granted because they would always grow back!! Then when I had my son, postpartum shedding took them away completely 😩

Your eyebrows are beautiful
I use a powder which eliminates a lot of the blending by hand!
Have you tried using the black color stick?? Mascara dried my edges out..using the black color stick on a regular with haitian black castor oil
Thank you for this vid

How long does it last? Does it has to be water proof?
Ty
How do you keep it from coming off on your clothes or pillow
Please share my edges are very thin
Wow i loss my edges the same way wearing braids to long when I was in nursing school.
I did the same and don’t have edges.
What's your other channel name?
❤
Your very pretty
OMG this looks scary, such a nightmare.Glad you found a way to make these edges look fuller.
You are beautiful! You have beautiful hair. The girl today are shaving their temples and kitchens just leaving hair at the top. It's the style now.
If you get the lash growing brush. It really works so use it just for your edges. Anywhere it touches grows hair so don't use your fingers.
Where do you get it and what's the brand name?
Where can we find the brush
Estoy pasando por este problema 😢tiene cura ?
Wait you have 17 18 year old? Looking so young? No way!
I use mascara but I use it to cover my gray hairs that only grows around my edges. I stopped dying my hair just to cover my edges and discovered mascara
Dying well really a rinse would only last a month and permanent dye would only last 2 months. And I refuse to keep putting that stuff in my hair monthly.
I used mascara for years
is this your new channel? how are your daughters? you still in the west coast?
diamondsandlipgloss yes I started another channel for hair and beauty. People always ask me about my hair, skin, things like that so I decrypt do a separate channel for that. I’m still in Georgia, I have no plans on going back to California I love it here💕
This is my second channel, the girls doing good. Do I know you personally? I can't tell by the name on your channel.
A NATURAL DOSE OF LONDON..nah girlie I'm just an old subbie that somehow lost your channel...i enjoy your vlogs and some people you just relate to..glad your channels came up in my time line....I've re-subbed
diamondsandlipgloss oh ok I sometimes have people I know talk to me but I can’t tell who they are because their channel name is different. Well I’m happy you found me thank you for all your support 🥰💕

Ole skool sulfur 8
Your so sweet and so pretty fuck them edges I lost mine too but I'm still fine as hell.
Use Monistat cream on your edges. It does wonders for growing edges.
Really?!
U gotta b kidding......
Mareka Brooks It stimulates hair growth.
This is the second time hearing this I just ordered some hair grown serum but I'm going to try this 1st
Don't worry about the edge just buy a wig you so beautiful it's ok
You’re pretty ! I like how you do you’re edges
Hi. You should go to see an endocrinologist. To me it looks like this is caused by PCOS not the braids. Hair loss as such is caused by hormonal and insulin issues. This is PCOS is normally treated with METFORMIN. Yes the same medicine used to treat diabetes. PCOS is not diabetes. Please read about it. There's too much info for me to explain her. It affects black, Hispanic , and women of India. Pretty much women of color.
Mascara or color stick. Either one worked great
Hi 👋 myself; my daug & a Gdaug ha e this problem..it’s hereditary. all the videos show black hair... my hair is blonde or reddish.. I’m Black but ha e natural dusty red that darkened some as I grew older but takes to blonde/reddish colors well..I hv weaves & wigs to hide my loss of hair..it’s depressing it I’ve learned to live with it better..please do edges on different colors of hair..thanks..😃
Thanks so much for sharing this information. My sister battled with this ever since I can remember. What a pity? If the alopecia problem were a concern for our Caucasian sisters, the problem would have been solved already. Without a doubt.
I Hate Every Single Person That Came All The Way On Here Viewed My Sis's Video & Did Not Hit That Like Button 😠 How Dare U , Shame On U !!
I went back and hit the LIKE button..LOL.. I think people watch, then go straight to comments, before hitting the button, then don't go back
@@monicashelton3603 Same here! Oops! Quickly went back hit the like button! Thanks for the reminder!😊
I was doing this and then I'm like why am I doing this just go get a hair transplant.
Black women need to leave those braids alone. They're just taking everybody's hair out and it's sad. Black women years ago didn't wear them and they all had hair .It's a shame that the hairdressers can see that the braids take your hair out but they want the money. It's sad.
I agree. Lost mine due to traction from braids and tight, slicked-down ponytails in the 90s. It's very sad.
London I know you gonna think this is crazy but what I would do is cut all of that hair around your edges off just shave it off a couple times when it grows back cut it off again Then let your hair start growing see what happens because that worked for me it made it thicker because my hair come out on the left side little bit but is back Plus take some vitamins for your hair skin and nails take them every day OK love🥰
I have been doing that a couple of times and till now my edge line is not yet full
Bonjour
