From relaxed hair to natural hair…the originality, authenticity and resourcefulness of her content! Hats off to you Queen 👑❤️ I hope you find so much joy doing this because we love watching you and learning from you ❤️❤️❤️
I needed this!!! I will reference this video in my post later because I'm not going to be thorough and why not point folks to you when I watched you for inspo❤❤❤
No worries! so long ur living life!! can you please try human hair kinky crotchet too? I've been wanting to try one of those but I'm not sure they'll work. Thank you.
@@robbiediles4242Looking like someone & having their vibe are two different things though. I, personally, reject the aforementioned erson's vibe for her despite the fact that she'd already accepted it for herself!💁🏽♀️
Young lady...I am 52 years old and utterly flabbergasted at this technique and the final look! PERFECTION!!! I could never do hair myself, but you are a master by any standard!
I’ve been wondering why more people haven’t done this since the back comb method came out. The ability to have flexible parts with crochet and human hair has always interested me. Thank you for the video
Same and the problem is most hairstylist don’t know how to do it or won’t even watch the video to learn😩 I tried to get one to do the knotless method years ago and it came out nothing like her old videos😐
I used your technique for a shapely burgundy afro. Everyone raved about my hair and thought it was mine! My friends could believe i didn't have to leave out😅
This is GENIUS! Trying it as soon as I take down my faux locs! But will use a u-part wig instead of sewing in tracks because I’m not that advanced yet lol
Saw a similar RUclipsr do this type of part technique about 8 years ago named Beauty Can Braid I believe. Love that it’s so versatile and glad more people are experimenting with the technique now.
If you're lazy like me, just get the clip ins(skip the sew in) and crochet the top. For an extra bit of ummph you can do invisible crochet method on the top so you can have a part in the middle or left/right sides.
& I like to take out my hair frequently, so you can take down your clip ins, wash your hair , wash the clip ins, braid your hair back up, and re install the clips. The crochet leave out can be washed and refreshed too, or you can redo it (it doesn't take long after you get the hang of it)🥰
Hi ,girl! Thanks for this tip! I wanna try out but with clip ins. I feel like I would have a hard time sewing the hair . I also plan to twist my hair and pin it downs because my flat twist dont lay flat . How were you results ? Can't wait to try it out (:
Ok for those of us who work out or have other reasons to wash the scalp regularly you can use same braiding pattern a upart wig and the crochet hair . So excited to try this !!!! Thanks Seun ❤❤❤
I feel like you’re the originator on the other crotchet v-part leave out method too. I been seeing ppl doing it everywhere but they are like “to whoever created this method thank you”
You genuinely don't understand how grateful I am too you for this.. I asked for help with my hair to spirit! After a time of neglect, & hear you come! Boom!!!😂🎉 Thank you💕
I do the same technique, it’s truly amazing lol but I still use human hair to crochet. However this time I decided to leave the TINIEST THINNEST slivering of my hair out at the parting, because as crochet grows out it just becomes more obvious.
You're definitely a genius!! Or a Mad Scientist lol. I have yet to be disappointed over the last 7-8 years of watching your videos. ❤🌹🌹#Viral #crochet #LatchHook #SewIn
I just discovered your channel today when your video popped up on my feed. I love it. Love it. Love it! I am a brand new subscriber. And I am about to binge watch your crochet videos. I intend to use this kinky crochet hair on my parts going forward. I love the fact that it completely covers up the knot. Unlike other hair types that still betray the fact that there is something there that’s being covered up lol. In other words, with other hair types, you can still see a bulky unnatural raised area around the part. This hair is a winner. I would cut it back about 25% to make it look more natural on me. I don’t like it when it’s long below my breast. I like my hair to stop below my chin but above my breast.❤❤❤❤
Thank you for giving us all the details! Really appreciated the tutorial on how to sew bc I feel like I don’t be doing it right sometimes and the weft is loose 😫 can’t wait to try this hair technique!
I tried this style but with clip ins instead of sew in. The crochet hair is sooo hard to manage and tame! I was never able to get it quite looking like the kinky straight hair. I think I want to try crocheting with real kinky straight hair, maybe that will be easier? Also, taking the crochet hair out took forever (untangling knots). This style looks great though and will keep practicing. Thanks!!
Seun!!! Please PLEASE can you use 1/8th inch silk ribbon to do a sew in instead of thread, and tell us what you think? Silk is better for the hair and is unable to cut hair strands because of how soft it is. I've noticed that using thread in my hair for a sew in has a similar effect to getting my eyebrows threaded. Tension on thread slices hair. I have waaaaaaaaaaaay less shedding during take down when I use 1/8th inch silk ribbon.
new to this channel. Just bumped into this video and wow!! the synthetic crotchet hair is EXACT MATCH to your natural hair!! beautiful natural hair you have! your technique is fire!!!
I braid my hair myself 90% of the time and I will be trying this out for a wedding this summer! Thank you for all your past helpful videos, and this one too! You have no idea how helpful they've been to me.
I want to do different types of protective styles and you’re always the person I go to for EASY yet realistic styles. I’m excited to try this! Love your videos!
hi Seun, im a fan from Swaziland. please can you share with us how you sleep with it. i have tried the invisible prt method you did in your previous vedio and i loved the hair but i ended up having to tie the hair in a bun because it had tangled so much. thankyou for your content its really helpful❣
Omg! You are brilliant. Thank you soooo much for this. I know that Cuban twist tangles easily. How do you take care of both textures at night? Do you swap out the braid hair every week for fresh ones? Would love to know! It blends seamlessly and looks undetectable!
Hey Seun, You ate this up! Great job!! 😍🙌🏾 I’ve seen several BW on RUclips use this method with clips in & crochet hair at the top… or crochet hair over all including the “leave out” section. But I’ve never seen it done with a sew in. This is a gem!! 👏🏾 I’ve tried the other two methods & I can’t wait to try yours. Thank you for such an in-depth video 💛 I also wanted to add… have you ever used a curve needle when sewing your tracks? I personally find curved needles to work even better & get the job done faster ☺️
I also have long hair that I keep protected with crochet styles. I haven’t worn a sew in though, because I can never get it to look natural.Thank you for this technique. You have inspired me to give sew-ins another try!

If you want to color it, Sam’s beauty has human hair 4c crochet that comes in 12” and 18”. Just straighten it too
I’ve never seen anyone do twist for a sew in, but this is answer to my prayers because i have alopecia and i need tension free hairstyles

Try french braiding the section where you add the crochet hair. It'll allow for a flatter section and will blend as the hair grows
