    This is honestly the best sew in weave with leave out and with thin edges, I have seen on any RUclips channel. This sew in looks so natural and it is exactly the video needed on this platform.

Though I know it its not easy out the gate but with patience I know I can get it. I do sew-ins but just not on my own head. And it's probably because I get frustrated lol. But , just thinking of the money saved and how many looks I can give myself amps me up. Just from watching you slay your own sew-ins. Thanks for sharing your techniques. Instead of creating a loop to tie knots for sew in. Try twisting the thread around the needle, then pull the needle up to create a knot. I got this technique from a RUclipsr named Peakmill. That technique is BOMB for sew in wigs or hair, especially for DIY ( Do It Yourself).

Especially cause I like to drench my hair in grease when I do quick weaves (although this isn’t a quick weave*) but I figure it’ll keep a nice barrier cause no one likes a greasy weave. My sides are shaved and I wanna grow them out so this is perfect. May have to do it quick weave style bc I don't have hair on the sides to anchor braid. But you are hilarious...I really like you. Beautiful job sis.

      Girl, I’ve had thin edges my whole life. They are super fragile. Literally tried everything… After experiencing more thinning due to postpartum, I’ve finally just accepted it and decided to share how I finesse to encourage other women with similar imperfections. Never felt more free🤍 Thanks for watching!

    Hi I'm new & I really learn a lot & love your videos. I would feel the same way after every part you do. It's complicated & straight forward too, but a weave is a bit of walking a tight rope. Especially to look great and feel great at the finished line.

    You should create or buy a upart really helped me grow out my hair back in the day instead of having to sew right on your hair you can just remove upart and put it back on after washing and braiding your hair

      Thanks for watching! I wear U Part wigs as well! Love them for us! The only thing is something they are a bit too heavy and I have to take it out. Sew ins are more comfortable for me but I like to switch it up. 🤍

    First time watching your video. Is it better to sew-in the dome cap. Can I this same method with a quick weave?

    • @ChakaStarkes
      @ChakaStarkes  2 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching! It’s literally the same method as a quick weave☺️ I just prefer the sew in to avoid using glue because I like to reuse my bundles 🤍 Definitely do whatever works best you!

      Thank you for watching!🤍 I think I used 3 and maybe a little more. It hard to know exactly how much I used this time because I cut the bundles. This is my 5th or 6th install with this hair.

    When using the dome cap, are you able to shampoo your hair underneath it?

    • @ChakaStarkes
      @ChakaStarkes  Год назад

      Great question! It's difficult to wash your braids with this method. If you need wash hair underneath, I would not suggest using a dome cap. Thank you for watching!

    Loved your video, it was very detailed. My hair is like yours where it's thinning around the edges. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do leave out or a closure. How often do you straighten your leave out to blend?
