Garratts around Victoria Falls (1990).

A handful of clips recorded on the approach to Victoria Falls aboard the overnight sleeper from Bulawayo, followed by some shots taken on the station there. 15th Class 4-6-4 4-6-4 Garratts are in charge of all the trains. A monkey with bright blue gonads makes a cameo appearance for added interest!

Thanks for posting..it brings back memories ..travelling to Livingston, Zambia on the Byo to Vicfalls train..Yes Garratts where mainline locos on that route in the early 90s

Nice video - I just love the Garratt engines, and it's great to see them in mainline use rather than as museum pieces.
