The band as a Whole Is Really good, the singer is the VIP imo with the Voice of Ann and the playing of Nancy.
Hell yeah, she's amazing
Yeah she’s excellent!! Really natural sounding too
She did a great job on that intro. This is like having both Wilson sisters spliced together into one musician
When the band started i thought ok they are pretty tight but how is the singing going to compare with one of best rock vocalists of all time. 👀 Nailed it
There's always that one fan, in the audience...😂😬😆🤦♂️
You guys sound great, what a fantastic singer.
Keep these coming please
KEEP POSTING THESE!!!! 🔥
The cool thing is that the bassist looks like Steve Vai
I was thinking that too 😂
Might be Steve XD
🤘
Now I can't unsee it!
Love it. Hate gigs looking into the sun
Wow! What a voice!!
WOW!! Smokin!!!!!
Everyone’s in the pocket… let the star shine. Great job. 96-98% run.
Very impressive group Mike. If this can on the radio as Heart live. I’d believe it.
Great band, great feel. And of course, great drummer and drum sound!!🤘
Funny story, our drummer and singer live in Alabama now and we're in Minnesota so they drive up for the occasional gig. The drummer needed a kit so our soundman Christopher brought his brand new freaking DW Performance Series kit. That's quite a loaner kit if you ask me. haha.
Sounds real good! Great performance! That signer! wow! She is awesome. Cheers,
Sounds awesome but wish they would move that mic stand so we could see you play.
Nice, competent players. Don't see many who can cover that vocal range, or care to. If you ever gig in northern WI, be sure to mention it on your channel
Pretty flawless performance by you and your band Mike! And what a great singer!
drummer is total old school pro - both hands!!
The drummer is really good. Best way to tell is when listening to the song you forget there is drums and you’re just grooving and moving.
Wow, you're actually awesome.
I'd love to see some original from the same musicians.
I have always loved Heart, especially this song. Y'all did a good job with this. Wish I could have been there.
You guys are great. There are Women in Rock that can belt out a song that is unbelievable.
Our old singer in our band could. But she doesn't play guitar.
Fantastic performance! Excellent share. Rock on! 👍👍
That was awesome! I'm not even that big a Heart fan and Ioved it! You guys are all total pros!
Well done.
So, this popped up on my feed. I’m in a cover band so always like to see what others are doing, so I clicked. I’m listening and watching. And then I’m like, “that looks like Mike from Art of Guitar?!” Clicked out of the video to see who posted it and 🤦🏼♂️
😂
The vocals knocked my socks off! What is the singer's name?
OMG... The vocal !
You made it !!
❤😮❤
this singer is amazing.
I am a friend of Nancy (the one in your band we went to music college together) and have seen the band a few times. There have been times when I thought that you guys were better than the original!! The best show I saw was at a house party in St Paul where it felt like we were sitting in Heart's practice space, just hearing the sound of the amps and drums without mics or PA in the way. Heartless is the definition of what a tribute band should aspire to be!!
I remember that house party.. I nearly died from allergies. hehe. Fun time though, somehow we all fit in the livingroom. Felt like college. haha
Fantastic. Love the Jackson. Good vibe when you can see the band having fun.
Fantastic! I’ll say it again - your lead singer is so good…nails it
gonna see Heart in september at red rocks, the bar has been set high. ;-)
yes!! my favorite track of theirs
Nice performance! You nailed all the little details Mike! 🤘
Great job on my favorite Heart song!
Amazing cover 👏 It sounds like the original song but my only complain is the mic in front of the stage hiding your guitar :( I would've like to see more of your guitar playing.
That was just a weird anomaly. It's actually right next to the camera which is unfortunate cause it does look like it stuck behind it. :(
Sounds great!
WOW!!! Band is amazing!!!
Love this song! 🤘🏻🔥 you guys played it so perfectly! ❤
Outstanding!!! 👏👏👏
Mike needed to do the Nancy Wilson “Kick” when the main riff hits! Great performance!
😂
The singer WOW
Nail it!
Another fantastic performance 🖤🤘
Good shit mike
damn these guys killed it. so good
Great job Mike and band!
Dude, perfect!
This was awesome!!!
Thabks for the upload brother sounds amazing please upload more !!!!
Seriously great cover!
This was awesome, you guys killed it
wow, fantastic job on that cover 🤘🙂
What a great singer, I also apreciate the guitar tone (something I've started paying more attention to). I have yet to learn how to use a wah pedal subtly.
You guys Rock Mike! 🤘🏻
Awesome 🤘
Excellent video
It's that guy again!
Hey you! Down in front! Hey! Hey! HEY!
Gonna go body tackle the guy.
BTW, you guys sound great!
...and Bun E. Carlos on drums.
What's your favorite heart song to play, Mike? Which one is
the most challenging?
Magic Man for sure.
Definitely my favorite as well
You even have the right effect on her voice! Sounds very authentic! What exactly is it?
That guitar player looks familiar then I recognize his guitar lol!!
Nice work Mike I saw heart a few times one most memorable was Jason Bonham made an appearance and they did some Zepplin tunes
Maybe the Wilson aisters, Ann and Nancy, could JAM with this ensemble as "Heartless Heart," and thereby tell off EVERYONE attempting to drive wedges BETWEEN Ann and Nancy! THAT'D show 'em!
Wow only 1 person showed ? 😆 You guys were Great. Perfect playing, spot on timing & together, and lead vocals range WOW. That weird guy on the left should play to the audience a little more though. 🤣
They charged $40 stupid bucks for tickets. I was pissed. I think there were like 75 people total but they were all on lawn chairs sitting WAY back. hehe
@@TheArtofGuitar That that's a tad steep but not terrible for a stacked bill at a summer show. You guys must have been LOUD for them to sit so far back, but you sounded GREAT 👍 Thanks for the reply !!!
CHEERS 🍺🍺 ✌️
JACKSON for the win!!!🤘
The caffeine (or something) kicks in at 3:10 for the bass player.
😆thats about right lol. but hey they sang along!
I like the 1 fan clapping the intro
🤘🏻
Excellent performance, especially the vocals. Was what's up with the video quality? Looks like it was recorded on a 15 year old smart phone!
Recorded on a distant cam which is all I had to work with.. The more I zoomed to get close the fuzzier it got. It's okay, we look better in low def. haha
You have more gigs scheduled somewhere we can find you?
👍👍👀🎸
she wins
:)
I love the audience of one guy 😂. I know its really not but still funny.
I have always wanted to learn the beginning of that song
Great! Would be fun to do a 'fix this band' on this 😅
That's called our first 7 years as a band. haha
@@TheArtofGuitar lol! You are being humble- it sounds great to me.
@@TheArtofGuitar Don't get me wrong, I love it. Very tight and the singer is amazing. It's clear the camera audio doesn't do it justice, but the quality shines through. With musicians usually being their own worst critic, I'm just curious about your own view of what could be improved..
Man, I'd have to dig deep but I'd say I'd have to convince Carrie to do the harmonized leads with me. :) I used to just add them via Kemper effects but now I'm more bare- boned.
@@TheArtofGuitaryeah man, you guys are tight. Nailed that solo btw!
👀
Perfect cover. Thats the closest likeness to Anne's voice ive ever heard.
Our old singer can nail all her stuff too. But this gal sounds just like Ann and has the pipes.
Great performance cant hardly hear the drums though
Am I to guess you are the drunmer?
@@halcooper3070 naa I'm just a guy
Unfortunate positioning of that stand. 😂
Mic blocking the Mike. 😏😓
The guy with his hands on his back pocket
Is that Napoleon Dynamite up front?
Hey don't make fun of our only fan. .hehe.
It may just be me but I think electic guitar should have been a bit lower in volume. But all of you played very good👏👏👏
I think Mike is overplaying the rhythm guitar a bit compared to how Heart played it live. Roger from 1976 - 1979, then Howard in the early-1980s used to just do a quick chord stab and then (Roger would do) a quirky back-rake. Mike has worked it into a funky part, which is cool. Mike has a great ear and knows what he's doing, but it's a bit different from how Heart would do it.
The lead singer even sounds like Nancy when she speaks! The acoustic intro needs to be a little more aggressive, but that's very hard to do. Give Nancy Wilson some credit for that.
Overall, a terrific performance and a great cover band. I'd see them a lot if I lived near them!
I'm actually doing Nancy Wilson's part but since I'm doing it on electric it stands out more than it should. :)
The Electric guitarist is good .....he looks kinda familiar
Excellent singer and the band are pretty tight too. I feel the acoustics of the location weren't as good as it could have been. Not really the band's fault when you are outdoors though.
Good cover. Could’ve done without the guy with his hand in his pocket standing right in the middle of the shot.!
Bass guy hears the word funk and has to slap 😔
Mike is excellent but the singer is the star of that band lol
Camera angle makes it look like there’s literally one guy in the audience. 😅
This band would be better if they all had leather pants to squeeze out all that talent
Brutally hot? What was it 80? lol
Yeah, something like that, but the stage was black so it felt like 82. haha.
@TheArtofGuitar cool, I live in south texas but born in St.Paul MN. 🤘😀
