@GuitaristNextDoor Love your videos man! Great stuff. I picked up a JS22 (w/ stock pickups) and an Orange 20RT for $290 on Reverb. I'm thinking of getting a Boss Katana Mini to throw in my backpack when I go over friend's houses and have the Orange for at home. Would you say this is a solid start for a beginner that wants to play older heavy metal and some hard rock? I heard that when I get better in 6 months to a year I could add a tube screamer to the Orange amp to make even better for metal.

I'm literally about to get both of the same items. Do you get a good distorted "metal" sound out of the combo? Or would I wanna get like a Metal zone/metal core boss pedal to go with it?
Fender Mustang LT25, it's my fav under $200 for most people👌 Boss Katana 50 Mkii is my fav amp under $300😎 And Roland Micro Cube GX is my favorite practice amp thank you for commenting👍😊
