Great demos man! We have more or less the same tastes in amps, I have the older VT20+ and currently considering the Mustang Lt25 or 50, for some Fender sounds (I am a Fender fan, can't hide it 😊 ). Keep up the good work! Cheers!
Thank you for saying that☺️👍! I really like both Valvetronix and Mustang amps. And for Fender tones those Mustang LT's are surely one of the best options that don't cost a ton👌(I don’t consider myself to be Fender fan but I do like majority of their guitars and gear a lot! And I can't hide that either... 😂) 😎
I've got this amp, I wanted a practice amp that gets close to modelling an AC30 on both normal and top boost channels and this amp does a very good job of both for the money, I use the AC30 setting for rhythm playing and the AC30TB setting for lead playing and this seems to be the best practice amp out there for those Vox tones in my experience!... 🙂
I agree! and great that you are happy with your purchase. I pretty much like every amp model this vox has, from clear to dirty amps😎thanks for commenting!😊👍
hey, man, very nice playing ☺️ i really can't choose between Mustang LT25 and this amp... what do you think is better to play some indie and garage rock stuff (like the strokes, white stripes, muse, AM), rockabilly and blues?
thank you for saying that :) Both are really good for that kind of stuff, hard to decide which one is better. Fender has a more fun/easier-to-use app, but VOX has better-modeled tube tones, I would choose between those 2 key aspects. Personally I like the VOX a bit more :)
Thanks for this video ... i am looking for a practise amp ... and after long time of searching and comparing --->> the fact that he has a little tube inside, makes my decision ;-)
I have one of these but it buzzes like hell when I use the distortion special effect. The buzzing goes away when I touch the strings or the bridge of the guitar. Anyone else have this problem ?
@@guitaristnextdoor8430 I don't have any other guitars to test with. It only happens using the distortion special effect and a little bit using the overdrive special effect. One day I'll get my hands on another guitar and see if I still have the same problem .
I actually didn't experience any hum...but I have heard that some do. It sucks. I would test the amp with different guitar and cable, and if it continues, then it's sure the amp is making the hum. And if it's unplayable I would contact the place you got it from and maybe return it... thanks for commenting!😊👍
my favorite settings are AC30 and Delux Clean. what is the source of the hiss? the guitar, the amp or the mic? if you decrase Samson recording volume by 6dB i noticed a less noisy recording🎤
Thanks for commenting!😊👍 I'm just using a USB-Condenser mic, but I have been looking for a solution to record with better quality lately, but haven't been able to choose yet😕my main option has been Focusrite Scarlett-audio interface plus a great XLR mic.😎
@@guitaristnextdoor8430 if you buy an interface please let us hear the difference between a virtual amp and a Vox+Samson. up to now this is my favorite combination among your videos
@Gábor B I bought that Focusrite in the Summer. it's used on this video for example:ruclips.net/video/Y9W40txaQU0/видео.html and I use it in all of my newer vids😎
In my opinion, yes😎 But this is not the best for modern metal, for example, Roland Cube's and Fender mustang Lt25 are better for that in my opinion👌 Thanks for commenting!😊👍
@LavaCore Gaming hmm... this can handle those in my opinion,, but I think that amp boss katana 50 would be awesome with that kind of stuff, but it's more expensive tho...😕😎
I had to investigate before making those because I don't want any copyright issues, I have heard that doing that kind of videos would be OK, but I don't see any other Guitar Gear channels doing that, cover-channels are whole other story😕😎

I'm not sure about that, I'm a little bit rusted in my opinion😅 but thanks for commenting and compliments!😊👍
especially the fret buzz

Could be a grounding problem, does it work better with other guitars? and does the plug of the power chord have a ground spike in it?
@@guitaristnextdoor8430 I don't have any other guitars to test with. It only happens using the distortion special effect and a little bit using the overdrive special effect. One day I'll get my hands on another guitar and see if I still have the same problem .
@@guitaristnextdoor8430 What is a ground spike ?
@@bobhope3716 sorry, I used the wrong word, is the power chord of the amp grounded?
@@bobhope3716 Yeah, I recommend testing another guitar with it. Also, if you have single-coils, they do buzz.
How did you get the horrible humming out of the amp without a 3 prong plug. I have this amp and it hums so loud it's unplayable.
I actually didn't experience any hum...but I have heard that some do. It sucks.

I like those a lot too! Dunno about the hiss, but I noticed that too. It's the mic probably, I'm not very good at using it😅

Can i play soukous(african music) with this amp?
thanks for commenting! 👍😊
unfortunately, I don't know anything about soukous....😅
but I guess that you can...😎 but not 100%sure
Can you play Hard rock and/or Heavy metal on this amp?
In my opinion, yes😎

@@guitaristnextdoor8430 I prefer old metal like Slayer, Slipknot stuff like that. So I wouldn't play Alt. Metal on it at all.

@@guitaristnextdoor8430 I'm a beginner, so 50W is overkill.
@@guitaristnextdoor8430 Also, you can use Vox tone room to get a better metal sound, and you can select the "distortion" effect.
