I cannot believe it was so simple. I have two of these toilets and your tutorial saved me the embarrassment of telling guests they might need to flush twice. I agree with you that l wouldnt purchase these again.

This was very helpful. For some reason my plunger had developed a bubble in the rubber seal. I popped it like a pimple and now it’s working fine. I didn’t know you could take that thing apart and service it until this video. Thank you!

Thanks for the very informative video, it saved the day for me. The tank was draining very, very slowly. The cartridge had lime build up on the seal. Fixed per your video.

Realistically, if your toilet was flushing fine, no need to make it use more water. I just bought 2 of these, because they were 200$ on clearance for 45$ each, and oval with the silent close toilet seat. It's actually allot more comfortable to sit on and an easier target to hit when standing, so far we are very happy especially since we paid so little for them. Gotta love LOWES around the last week of January, that's when they clear out the previous years bath stuff - hint hint... We got a 3 piece glass shower for 90$ as well, retail was 585$. Yeah, the little guy wins once in awhile...

Every once in a while it’s good to put some activated charcoal in the tank, it slightly acidifies the water dissolving mineral buildup and also absorbs minerals in the hard water

you solved my problem with one sentence. the 'out hole' in the toilet is where the water is supposed to rush out. mine fills fine, but you have to hold the flush valve down... sometimes it flushes all the way, sometimes not. but if you dump a pot of water in really fast, whoosh and down it goes, so not the 'disappearing' end of the toilet. i took the flush valve out and cleaned it top to bottom, but it back and still the same thing... took the part from the duplicate toilet in the basement and same thing, but both flush valves worked in the downstairs toilet, so obviously it's the toilet not the flush valve. on with the rubber gloves and whaddaya know, i could actually feel crunchy bits all around the inside of that front hole (sure there is a technical name)... just about out of CLR, so i dumped a whackload of vinegar in it. not sure how much my septic tank critters will like that but better than chemicals... so thanks! pretty sure that's going to fix it. 5 mins later. took a tiny screwdriver, with the handle down into drain hole, and gave a few pokes at the calcium crunchies and they came off no problem... back in business!!

Just got one of those types an it seems that the bowl doesn't fill enough it seems that the overflow is to short so the tank only fills less then a foot. But it seems like it has a strong flush. It is brand new I was wondering if I add a piece of pipe on the overflow would that fill up the bowl higher so the (Mr. Hanky) would have a deeper end 💩 You showed me a few things on this type of plumbing good information. Thanks !

This is a shit toilet cheap about 100 dollars it might do the job for you but I went an got a toilet about 200 dollars you get what you pay for an thought I was gonna get this type of toilet that had a hole new type of toilet technology but it's more like a turd on a journey that the narrow piping that is built-in to the unit is a rollercoaster ride an they 💩👈 get stuck in the pipe an it gets worse if it gets near the flange if it gets passed the narrow bowl piping... I found the perfect toilet that you flush the toilet an it's ready for more in one foul swoop 💩 never leave a turd behind don't get fooled with the stuff in the tank if it's 100 dollar toilet it's shit. At least on this end

Thank you I have simular toilet mechanism I noticed it started leaking water tonight from the kitchen lights downstairs so I headed up and took some water out from the top bowel and noticed there was a plastic tube sunken to the bottom of the bowel but still attached to the right hand side part then I noticed the plastic flusher has two small round holes either side so I put the tube into the plastic flusher but had to put it quite far down. The it looks a lot longer than yours! So basically what I think happened is the water was very close for over filling the bowel after flushing and now I'm concerned about flushing it. This all happened within the last few hours so what do you suggest I try please? Hope all that makes sense.
