@Ari Awan True. With their second album they were on their prime. I think Skid Row didnt want to be considered as a Hair Metal Band . Thats why they were much heavier on Slave to the Grind
The Slave to the Grind album did not hardly get any press or recognition. That album s amazing! Maybe people expected something like their self titled? Sebastian Bach could be singing out of my Mamaw's cook book or the County Jail Bookings and he would still make me swoon 😍🔥👅💋💖💟💯
After the passing of kurt cobain and dimebag Darrel we have lost the talent somewhere in music now it’s all autotune and a looped beat and someone talking about having sexual contact with hundreds of women being involved in drugs and being a self proclaimed gangster 80’s and 90’s are as good as music will ever get in my book
I'm so thankful every day that I got to grow up as a teenager in the 80's. We had the best decade EVER!!! Summer nights hanging out going to concerts. The best rockers pumping out albums . The summers seemed to last forever and everyone was chill and just having fun.
Wouldn't trade it for anything. "I've seen a million faces and I've rocked em all". I don't even care for JBJ but that line says everything anyone needs to know about the 80's. No meet and greets, no cell phones, cameras not allowed...thank God, and whatever went down went down. Heavy Metal Rules.

Slave To the Grind was such a masterpiece album. I was listening to it the other day, on my hour drive to work....and it put me in the BEST mood for the rest of the day. Sebastian Bach....just a phenomenal powerhouse singer. Probably wasn't the easiest guy to get along with, to hear the stories, but musicians can be quirky and tough to deal with. People are people. Skid Row was a force, Slave to the Grind was just such an intense follow up album, and Sebastian Bach.....THE most talented singer of that time. Period.
@@xNotYourAverageGamer I wouln't call Skid Row your typical hair metal band. Just like Guns'n'Roses, Queensryche or Pantera, they were a musical transition between early to mid-80s lighter, 'poppy', sex-suggestive versions of metal and heavier, more sombre styles that would dominate the early 90s. While still retaining a certain amount of glam, Skid Rows later albums are are a far cry the likes of Poison, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard or Cinderella.
Damn. I miss them. As they were. It will never be the same. Bach is a legend. His voice, his energy - no one can touch him. My first concert ever as a child, Skid Row opened for Bon Jovi. What I would give to be that 10 year old girl standing on that chair in Fiddler's Green, rocking out at that show again!! 🤘🤘 Love you guys forever!! Rock on Mother Truckers!!! ❤

This really is the worst day of my life, all i could do was cry. He cried too. The part that he says "forgive me please for i know not what i do" really gets me to tears. I know it wasnt because he didnt love me. I just dont think he knew how much leaving me for those years hurt without barely any phone calls. Now, the tides have turned and we talk almost daily.

Bach's book "18 and Life" was a stellar read as well. I would advise reading it. His pre Skid Row voice training is what gave him the "edge" above other metal singers during that era. Long live Sebastian Bach!

I agree that Sabastian Bach had been a really GREAT vocalist back in the day. And, back then I had been a BIG FAN of Scotty Hill.
Мне сегодня 42. SCID ROW мне нравятся все больше и больше. И я сам себе тоже...😊
Still gets my vote for the best male rock vocalist of all time.
Right on bro

You're right, his vocals are electrifying and I haven't heard anyone close to his level of hitting those reverb notes

Vince Neil, Seb Back and Bruce Dickinson 😘

This should of been a waaay bigger hit than it was. Skid Row in their prime were highly underrated!

Absolutely Skid Row deserved more recognition in their hay-day. Shame Sebastian Bach was doing an Axl Rose. Band couldn't take it - unfortunate
We need more people listening to Skidrow - criminally under rated! 😑
You just wait! New album out October 14th with Erik Grönwall killing it on the vocals!
