Sebastian Bach you're the gift of God
That play melody is Scotti hills
Power
Yessss he’s perfect
Sebastian Bach > God
And you're a cutie pie 😊
I have no problems admitting this: the first time I heard this song on CD, it literally made me cry.
That is the sign of a Great song. It sucks you in and really makes you feel something. At music school, they always taught us to "sell" the song. This one really hits it's mark. Your tears are proof of that.
@@erikvaldur3334 That's how I feel about In A Darkened Room. But honestly, so many tracks on Slave To The Grind brings about really vivid emotions, sometimes more than I can process or handle. This is great songwriting and delivery.
Same
Yahoo, it's tuff
Yeah, first time popping in Slave to the Grind, was like, woah what the hell do we have here!?💪
Not too Mention the man's TRULY an ENTERTAINER. HE can bring 10 or 10 million to their feet during a show. PHENOMENAL
this song still is so damn good
fuck. yeah man.
Yap
The best
Lots of pussy for me then
Like Fuckin so damn good bro!!! SB is so emotional at the end its so intense!!!
The band is killin’ it. And Sebastian at the top of his voice. So great. There is no better, this is their song. Period.
Still one of the top 10 metal albums of the 90’s
This song and this band NEVER GETS OLD. Seb is blessed with those pipes! One of my top favorite bands of all time!
You and I together in our lives
Sacred ties would never fray
Then why can I let myself tell lies
And watch you die every day?
I think back to the times
When dreams were what mattered
Though talking youth naivete
You said you'd never let me down
But the horse stampedes and rages
In the name of desperation
Is it all just wasted time
Can you look at yourself
When you think of what
You left behind
Is it all just wasted time
Can you live with yourself
When you think of what
You've left behind
Paranoid delusions they haunt you
Where's my friend I used to know?
He's all alone, he's buried deep within
A carcass searching for a soul
Can you feel me inside
Your heart as it's bleeding
Why can't you believe
You can be loved
I hear you scream in agony
And the horse stampedes and rages
In the name of desperation
Is it all just wasted time
Can you look at yourself
When you think of what
You left behind
Is it all just wasted time
Can you live with yourself
When you think of what
You've left behind
You said you'd never let me down
But the horse stampedes and rages
In the name of desperation
Is it all just wasted time
Can you look at yourself
When you think of what
You left behind
Is it all just wasted time
Can you live with yourself
When you think of what
You've left behind
The sun will rise again
The earth will turn to sand
Creation's colors seem to fade to grey
And you'll see the silky hands of time
Will write your final rhyme
And end our memory
Oh, no!
I never thought you'd let it get this far, boy
Oh, I never thought
I never thought you'd let it get this far, boy
Oh, no!
I never thought
I never thought you'd let it get this far, boy
No!
I never thought you'd let it get this far, boy

I always thought it was "sickly" hands of time. Seems more appropriate than "silky"
After doing some Googling and more listening, I'm certain it's sickly.
Those high vocals give me chills, skid row will bring you to tears, you FEEL the music, Axl Rose guns n roses, sorry skid row will give you goose bumps on your neck
This is a masterpiece! The best thing was its meaning and it is emotionally strong, Wow, I will never get tired listening to his vocals in this track, very powerful.
The most underrated song in the history ov music. It should be mandatory listening in every school around the planet to teach kids something about not touching drugs.
One of the greatest vocals ever
it was the best, what a beautiful voice
To many people, this is, y'know, their go-to
Suxs.
Epic vocals sang it with emotion omg classic
And under rated 😔
I can listen to this song a million times and Sebastian's talented voice will never fail to impress me. One of the best singers I ever listened to. And so gorgeous on top of that!
He was stunning wasnt he.
What a band, what a song, what an amazing voice
Sebastian's range is beyond compare. Out of this world specially toward the end of this song.... Salute!!!
Vocals, guitar, bass, drums, all perfect to make this song a work of art.
Still amazing after all these years. Probably the best example of how great Sebastian’s voice really is.
It's funy to see young people's reactions to 80s rockers like skid row, thier blown out the water, like they can't believe what thier hearing, the F*ckin talent!
You win likely for comment of the century there thank you from GenX!!! 👍😉
That’s because unfortunately, there’s no talent like this anymore, and unlikely to be any in this lifetime.
Yes Sir
Man, I would’ve rocked the 80’s and 90’s so hard. I’m 16, and this is the kind of music I’ve been listening to since I was 7. My parents have influenced me well. New music cannot beat this.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Esse som é imortal! Sebastian Bach um dos maiores vocalistas de todos os tempos! Monstro!
Some of the greatest vocals put in a song. Try and sing it yourself and good luck with that.
See my story above for how that turned out. 😉
I’m going to try in my soprano voice. It’s going to be awesome 🤟
🤣🤣
@Fernando Perez hahahahh word.
All Skid Row songs are hard af to sing. Except for maybe Piece of Me.
Where's my friend I used to know? No, it can't be just wasted time. One day we will meet again, I NEVER THOUGHT YOU D LET IT GET THIS FAR BOY!!!!!!
Best singer that God ever created!! The tone, the colour of the voice, the range is just beyond compare!!
When i was a teen, i used to listen to this and it made me feel like i would do great things with my life. It's hard to find current artists with this raw energy and emotion attached to their music. Surely now more than ever bands have extreme material to sing and rage about.
To much autotune now days anyone can make a record. This is back when true talented singers were singing with talent!
Never thought that this song would speak so clearly to me soo many years later. I was already in active addiction when this song came out, and it took another 29 years for me to get sober.
Such an amazing song. The whole record is amazing.
Dude , your one of the greatest singers ever . Rock on sebastian 🤘
I'm 12 and I love this song!
3:52 I've had chorus as ringtone for a long time to be able to continuously appreciate the gift of voice this man has!
It breaks my heart that the original line up of Sid Row are no more, they were phenomenal.
Check out their new album.
03:45 "horses stampedes and rrrrraaaaaages"...wow love that part, superlative singer Baz!
That part refers to heroin and its effect. in the streets slang ¨horse¨ is heroin and kick to its withering effect
Of course Sebastian is beyond incredible, but almost no one mentions the awesome solo by Scotti Hill!
He really lays it down and matches the feeling and message Sebastian is conveying.
I heaven't been hearing this in a while and I have goosebumps and I'm crying...... What a voice, energy, interpretation, feelings. Thank you just for being on Earth and for this Music to exist! Happy birthday Sebastian!
Makes me stop in my tracks.awsome song....my favorite!!
Makes me cry too..awesome song
I saw these guys on Feb 12, 1992 at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul, MN. Awesome show, and not a bad seat in the house.
Tinha 12 anos quando ouvi essa música pela primeira vez e me tornei fã ❤️ hoje com 27 continuo aqui apaixonada por essa banda!! Skid Row fez e sempre fará parte da minha vida ❤️❤️
If you're listening in 2025 then you are not wasting time !!
100 percent
This song literally popped into my head this morning
Then you know bullshit from real
@@stephanegagnon3282 why is that
Found this on the last day of ‘23 pretty cool. So intricate. Was listening to wasted years and this popped up I guess.
Sebastian is my favorite rock voice of all time..Forever EPIC
Читаю комментарии и это невероятно,сколько людей чувствует этот шедевр так же, как и ты и это прекрасно!Такая музыка будет жить вечно в наших серцах!
Ouvindo repetidas vezes. Muito, muito bom!!!!
Sebation Bach, you are the epitome of rock and roll. No one else comes close to holding that torch. Axel tried. Cornell tried but no one sings like you. You are the dude I always wanted to be. Gorgeous with a beautiful mane of hair and the talent is uncomparable. You sir are a legend and we need to celebrate you while you're still alive and kicking. Thank you.
100% agree
The greatest metal song of this generation. Bach’s vocals and the musicianship will stand the test of time. ❤️

This song is so underrated. Why isn't it considered one of the best ballads ever?
What a sad, sad song. It's great that they were versatile but it's really the antithesis of what made them such a fun band in the first place.
Невероятное сочетание внешней красоты и харизмы и фантастического вокала
Best singer in metal hands down, amazing voice!
this song got me into rehab in `92, saved my life...
The 80's Will Never Die. The Decade of Decadence.
I'm thirteen years old and i love this song!🤘 It's amazing...
Que potencia de la Voz de Sebastian Bach saludos desde Mexico 2019
Um verdadeiro hino do Rock n Roll, pra sempre viva o rock
this song warns against substance addiction while addicting listeners to itself. 😂
