Great piloting skills skimming just 30 feet above the airstrip before landing on the unpaved surface. Also outstanding camera work capturing the flight from every conceivable angle, especially impressed with the underbelly shots. This jet is a real game-changer!
Yes, this jet is really a game changer. I'm so in love with it!! It's like a little toy that can go anywhere! The general specs are also amazing for a jet. Almost the maneuverability and flexibility of a high performance single engine piston combined with the speed and capacity of a jet!!
You can not compare twin turbo jet otter to a Pilatus. Whats the point in taking that risk ? So many things can go wrong its only matter of time before a stone rock jack rabit a mouse a lizard grass hopper gets sucked into that jet and there is no Hudson River to put her down in you and 2-9 souls are dust bunny balls of fire.
Well let's see if the displays feature a buttonless capacitive touchscreen. That'll be cool. BTW I didn't prefer notches. They'll block tons of useful things. Dang.
The 'rock guard' looks like a mini-version of the one used on 737-200's, and that fat tire looks $$. Great job setting her down smooth on the soft top!! --gary
I am impressed. I have some off airport experience in tail draggers but nothing like this and certainly no kerosene burners. I want one of these. Id love to do a few landings and takeoffs in the dirt with one. Dont you know some of the people driving by were wondering why that jet was landing on the dirt strip. Something like "is he drunk?" or "are they crazy?" Nope, just dancing with the Pilatus today. Situation normal. Lol. Too cool. Like Signal-Tek said, "Epic" Thank you!
The Beechcraft Hawker 3ARA was also built for off pavement landings. With RollsRoyce Viper Turbines, there was not much that could stop it, and the vertical climbouts are awesome. Some airports we have to pay a $500 noise fine to land there, Kool Stuff!!
When I first started watching this one I was wondering if we would see the speed break. Yes of course we did awesome. And that was one hell of a smooth landing.
Awesome! definitely something that you don't often see corporate jet pilots or business jet pilots accomplishing or attempting to do..landing a business jet on an unmarked dirt road in the desert, and flying over it first just a few hundred feet above it like a fighter pilot!
Total awe towards the capability of the PC-24, y'all should bring it down to Kenya and test it on our unpaved runways for the African market.Med-evacs Ops would be great with such equipment.
Would really like a complete view of all the interior of the PC 24 in a future video. The cabinets behind the cockpit. Areas for soft drinks, snacks, etc. Thanks.
That was incredible Tommy, You did something that no one in the GA Jet Pilot has done before. You just showed to the rest of the Jet Pilots how is done and You still look down to Earth. You are the Man!!!. Just don't get Hijacked by El Chapo:).
I wouldn’t want to blow a tire on a unimproved strip...that might be a handful! It’s must be a good feeling to know you have the ability to do it if you have to. Stay safe👍
You can order one. Just for around 12 Mio sFr. ;-). Order books are again open now. After 5 years of "closed" books cause the first lot has been sold out in 36h after accepting orders. All they had at this time was a wood mock up!
Quick question. Is there any concern that dust and sand could be sucked up into the engines and cause malfunctions or increased wear and tear? Also, beautiful landing my friend. I was extremely impressed.
If you’re sucking debris into fuselage mounted engines, you’ve done something very, very wrong - like you’ve driven into a gravel pit or you’re upside down.
This dude is flying this beast like hes on Flight Simulator X !! A lot of us just act bad ass (and crash occasionally) as we land anywhere in the game we want. All because we can get away with it on a simulator. He is doing it IRL and making it look easy AF. I am a fan for damn sure.
Really cool video! ...Pilatus does such a great job...Love the 140 flight in another of your videos...have my Dads 140 in barn awaiting restoration...the plane I soloed in...Had a Maule for a long time ..C210 next I think...lol...
I just love this. Pilatus has designed a business jet with the operational capability of a Cessna Caravan. What an awesome piece of engineering.
PC-24 is their next step to the PC-12.
That landing was smoother than most pilot would do on a runway......nice job!
Thank you
Awesome plane dude nice
I was about to say :)

You can tell Tommy does aerobatic maneuvers on his free time. This is content I can watch all day.
lol
That dirt landing was slicker than a freshly greased otter, sliding down a ski jump on a polished metal food tray. Outstanding 👍

This guy can fly his aircraft. He’s a master Jedi.
ha thanks lol
Master skywalker
PlaneJunkies are you ex military?
Amazing! The cockpit looks so clean and well thought out!! Beautiful!
Great job of flight and video! Wow!
thanks
Great landing and love love love that take off angle! Thanks for sharing
As a Swiss I am pretty proud of Pilatus. They produce 1st class aircrafts for decades. The PC6 is still unmatched 👌🇨🇭🙌
they did a nice job for sure
As a human I'm pretty proud we made it off the ground.
Inazuma MR Swiss cheese stinks 😷
This will be perfect for the unpaved runways of Sinaloa 👍🏼
Beautiful airplane and great looking avionics!
Well let's see if the displays feature a buttonless capacitive touchscreen. That'll be cool.
BTW I didn't prefer notches. They'll block tons of useful things. Dang.
I bet that was pretty interesting, flying over the runway at 30 feet with the gear up. You don't get to do that every day. Pretty cool.
haa haa lol ya
Talk about an unimproved runway, that runway looks like it was last improved in 1910. Nice landing.
thank you
@@PlaneJunkies I totally disagree, that runway is smoother than half of the paved runways in the word! Try Catalina with the PC-24.
I have landed in Catalina . its now brand new compared to what it was
Your finesse is incredible on the controls!
I think You're the best testimonial of the PC-24...wow!
thank you
Damn Tommy.Great pilot and washes the plane to.Bonus.Love this site.
I want one now. Thanks for the ride.
Me too!! except that I will have to live 9 lives, like a cat, before I can even dream of being able to afford one!! 😂
"Off Roading" in a PC-24!
Hate to see it getting dirty...but what a versatile aircraft!
The 'rock guard' looks like a mini-version of the one used on 737-200's, and that fat tire looks $$. Great job setting her down smooth on the soft top!! --gary
Great work. Beautiful landing. Very impressive. Great video angles. Thanks for sharing with us Tommy. You rock! Keep them coming!
Pilatus 24 its an amazing moving jet with soft landing characteristics of its own big up

haa ya next the to high way so people thought it was a jet having an emergency . I think they called the sherif as well haha

This guy knows how to take care of his airplane., he flies, lands and washes his airplane very nicely. Good job Bro!
Great video, Tommy! Glad everything worked out. Glad to finally meet you at FSI, too! Be safe and see ya soon.
Awesome video, this guy is the Tiger Woods of the PC-24 AirSmart. Great piloting!!
LOL haaa thanks
This guy is the pilot's pilot if I've ever seen one!
My favorite engineering house- Pilatus! They are truly remarkable, aren’t they?
It’s a blast
Excellent nice setup with Pilatus Bush Jet! Thanks for sharing!
Oakland baby!
Smooth operator on rugged terrain, well done.
Wouldn't you love to walk out to this jet looking like this guy lol.. I love the casual appearance of this pilot😊
One hell of a mental fight for PIC to get to this level. Wow.
The best, PILATUS
Congratulations Captain!!
When I first started watching this one I was wondering if we would see the speed break. Yes of course we did awesome. And that was one hell of a smooth landing.
awesome, I see you guys out of North all the time, beautiful aircraft
I don't think I've ever seen a gentler kiss of a landing. Wow!
Awesome! definitely something that you don't often see corporate jet pilots or business jet pilots accomplishing or attempting to do..landing a business jet on an unmarked dirt road in the desert, and flying over it first just a few hundred feet above it like a fighter pilot!

What a beautiful looking aircraft!
This dude blows the image of a corporate pilot out of the water....
No thrust reverse...??
@@iglyigly1193 I have the same question ... apparently it doesn't have that
On dirt you wouldn't want to use thrust reverse. The cloud of dust it would blow forward can get sucked into the engines
@@iglyigly1193 Empty is not needed if you land at the right speed.
Hahaha...
Total awe towards the capability of the PC-24, y'all should bring it down to Kenya and test it on our unpaved runways for the African market.Med-evacs Ops would be great with such equipment.
someday it will be out there for sure
Amazing aircraft and pilot!
That landing was as smooth as silk. Made it look easy too!
Sweet
Neat video. I had no idea this was possible with a jet like this.

sure sounds fun

Great camera work..love the under wing view
You are so brave and enjoy your life!! You use what you got
It takes 26 seconds to reach sky on unpaved runway, this is so fast.
I haven't flown in anything but an old Cessna but for some reason I feel like I could fly this beautiful aircraft
Good stick! Someone should let the airfield manager know a couple of those tires are just a BIT too close to centerline.
Wah yaar.....Goodluck
Epic dirt field landing!
Very high quality video love watching it!
Hi,very powerfull @ takeoff, very quiet inside and very smooth ! Good pilot and nice jet !
Thank you
WTH I am so damn impressed. Good job! Makes me want to fly again.
So aspiring, means alot to me. Thank you for the content. Happy landings
your welcome
My brain needs to get used to these new possibilities! Great job and very exciting!
yup lol
That's some sweet landings.
thank you
Bery Nice way to show how due very shorts take off and Landings, great job captain 👍🏻
thank you
Hello, I enjoy your videos, good pilot and a good aircraft..
thank you
You are a pretty cool pilot ! Not arrogant just a true professionell pilot ! I like your style !

This runway is smoother than lots of paved
Cool!...simple and hopefully effective, nice "mud-guard" for that fwd landing gear👍
Freak'in awesome!!! :)
Cool plane, cool pilot, wonderful video !!!! Thank you!
thank you
I can just imagine those people passing by on the freeway, “ hello police, it’s a jet and it just landed in the desert!”
Great flying and great plane, thanks for sharing
This is a dream.
its been for a while and we finally did it
just found your channel, very cool - PC-24 magic no wonder our royal flying doctor service got one for australia.
Omg... O love this Guy with that "non pilot face". Nice vid!!
Non-pilot face? What does that mean anyway?
Waiting to see the next version of landings.....one on skis for Winter and other pontoons for Summer. Lol. Nice job in dirt.
You and me both!
Who else wants to own and fly this plane?

Nice plane,nice pilot ,good work.
thank you
Gorgeous jet
That..... was freaking wild. Looks like something I would do on grand theft auto. How did I miss this video last year?!?
Finally I see an entire landing takeoff on unpaved runway . Tks a lot.
fun huh lol
Nice video, great cameras!!!!
Smooth landing & t/off Capt. No damaged at flaps. Great video & subscribed. Any vacancies for flt ops? Greeting from Malaysia. 🇲🇾

For runway marking. Tyers were used. On two sides of runway tyers were used as marker.
Yes correct
What a awesome plane - and great piloting! But its a way too nice jet to be landing on non-asphalt runways. ;o)
Awesome video and Great flying
Glad you enjoyed it
better to hear the sound of the engine and the fly itself than music.
Great shots, sir.
Thank you

not much concern . thanks
It was extensively tested to make sure that such dust would not cause ingestion at the engine or problems on other air intakes of the act..
