gorgeous as always :)
Bed bugs part made me wanna vomit and die and go cry in a corner.
Maya it's Anthony & Mikey from Los Santos Is A Driver's Town 🙋 🙋♂️ 🤣We Luv Birds Too!!
im glad your back dont leave us please lol
no wonder the bee movie is so horny....but wait does that mean all the bees are adopted?? and just set up as family structures so they can learn
love that when she says that duck PP is not a PP because it doesn't erect with blood somone in chat said "skill issue"
Most mammals actually rely on a bone to get their boners erect. Google "baculum."
@Daathiel yes? where did you think this class was taking place?
Snail foreplay is a knife fight and whoever wins gets to top?!
That's the coolest thing I've ever learned about snails
whole new meaning to homoerotic sword fight (I know they're hermaphroditic but it's not Male And Female, so close enough for the joke)
@@emilyreames7748 i mean in a way it is homosexual isn't it? They are the same sex.
I love how she doesnt overreact in any bad way to the chat. Some teachers should copy that wholesome behaviour
I mean, when it's in real life, you're actually interrupting the teacher, she can just ignore chat and she can keep going and everyone can still hear her
You try teaching to a bunch of shitty kids. See how calm and wholesome you'll be lmao.
@@yasmineh.1333 thats why I say that. I couldnt stand this bs too especially coz I hate children. Ppl who can tolerate this deserve the best
@@beastknight9790 Ah my bad lmao. I certainly don't hate children though. If anything teenagers are far worse
They would if they got paid enough.
Awesome lesson!
Small correction though - kangaroos aren't born into the pouch, they are born out of the cloaca and have to climb up the mother and into the pouch while they're in their tiny larva-esque state. It's an insane design concept that frankly should have never survived evolution.
that sounds straight out some sci fi horror shit
Absolutely scathing critique from ljr to God
@ljr1252
Nah, bro. Kangaroo's _are _*_based._*
can’t believe every kangaroo’s first ever experience is a shadow of the colossus type climb up their mom
honestly makes me think of genetic fitness - kinda like how sperm thrive in alkaline environments and the vagina is acidic - creating trials before too many resources have been given to the organism to see if it's stong enough to be naturally selected
I love how chat was asking purposely stupid questions but they ended up actually learning things.
The chat spam when maya said “A lot of male animals die virgins” took me out 💀
For those wondering, if a human made a sound proportional to its size that a water boatman made, it would be ~170 decibels, which is roughly the noise created from a rocket lifting off if you’re standing right next to it
Omega jerker masterbator professional
i be in my girls ear like [deafening explosion]
> a rocket lifting off
Fitting.
women be like *best night of my life*@@fauxrowsdower7610
I asked GPT-4 to calculate this and it said "This would correspond to a decibel level of about 142 dB for a human, which is extremely loud-comparable to the sound intensity of a jet engine at close range." (still very loud!)
dude i thought this video was going to be about literal birds and literal bees and instead I got an amazing lesson on animal sex and let me just tell you i dont think i could have paid attention better. theres something about the way you talk and teach that is literally so captivating and helpful. so thanks for the random but SUPER COOL information!!!
dude same 💀💀💀
SAMEE
If any of my teachers taught like this, I surely would have retained more knowledge. Huge props to you Maya for making educational material enjoyable!
We need more noscope edits in the classroom.
Exactly!
As I said in my own comment, this and @zefrank1 are the future of teaching! The _sooner_ our education system realizes this, the *_more educated_* our society can and will become! 🤘
_[in fairness, Ze Frank's _*_has_*_ gotten recognized and he's producing edited cuts now; but I'm hoping those are for sub-Highschool use, as leaving in the "adult" content for 10th Grade and over, is only going to make students want to pay closer attention, if you ask me! (we all already use such language at that age _*_anyways_*_ so who cares!)]_
@@DUKE_of_RAMBLE you can't make kids care though. Its easy to value this type of education/learning in retrospect, incredibly hard to implement to the actual child.
@@outlaw42001 You can never achieve 100%, in that regard, but this approach is certainly going to get you alot closer!
It's worth the effort to at least *_see_* of it yields results, no?
@Dom It's admittedly been a couple decades since I graduated HS, so... maybe classes are more progressive and less reserved about what constitutes as being """inappropriate language not fit for teachers to use"""...? 🤷♂️
Because had students came back and gleefully quoted something their teacher said that they found educational, yet funny, like Maya had used frequently... They'd have either been put on probationary leave, or fired.
I had a few teachers who were like Maya, but pretty sure they had tenure.
And it's not that they used boundary pushing language due to job security and not giving a shit. They used it because they were respecting us as young-adults, and knew full-will that WE used that language every single day when amongst friends.
In other words, they were making class more like a relaxing place amongst friends, than a boring hour with an uptight adult with an authority complex.
To no surprise, it was the teachers who taught Shop and Auto; however, my Senior year English teacher also was laid-back in terms of language use (heh no pun intended).
I always sucked in English class (overall I was a C-avg student), but wouldn't you know it... I had a B+ _(or higher?)_ in his class!

i looked up copulatory bondage and quickly went off saying i didn't want to see that.
i then look up copulatory bondage insects forgetting I had arachnaphobia. I also did not want to see that.
I looked it up and immediately got spiders and I didn’t even specify that I wanted spiders
Gotta say, this is such a solid education format. One might argue that chat was goofing around but the fact is they stayed engaged. Because the teacher just rolled with it, knew the lingo/culture, and focused on the *getting things learned* and even answered questions that I feel many in-class teachers would discipline. I'm just so impressed. I really, really hope to see more of this format in the future, from many educators.
I watched the first 30 minutes while eating breakfast, and proceeded to tell my colleague all I've learned about animal genitalia
Lovely
The reactions from the people off camera are hilarious
Maya is braver than any us marine to go over this topic with her twitch chat tbh
Huh?
Smarter too, apparently
Challenge accepted, SEMPER FI
Nah saying this is crazy, she’s brave but nowhere near someone in the military
No, like actually brah no
"Just like me fr" in the chat whenever Maya talked about magnum animal dong made me lol
Maya seems like she'd be the coolest teacher
Dear Draco, she is the coolest teacher.
The biology nerd in me loved all of this. Maya is solid at teaching and the content/edits were fun!
Oh my god, the edits are ON FIRE tonight! Love the Stardew Valley music soooo much as well! I'd love for it to stick around for your educational stuff! It fits surprisingly well! :D
@@KINGJERMARCUS Shut up and stop spamming
every time i hear it randomly I always think about how he made the music all himself during development also by himself
guy has a mind for creating a vibe
Came for the jokes stayed for the presentation. Glad to learn more about this strange world
I watched this live! Only Maya does content like this. I love it!
The stream was so good
Only talks about dicks smh
Honestly Maya, this was one of the most entertaining things I have ever seen, I was laughing the whole time... AND LEARNING... You should get a tv show.
Backed
snails are litterally just london citizens
they have dicks in their necks, and both female and male....?
That one chat member during the platypus segment

Maya I hope you will make more educational videos on animal life. You are a fantastic presenter and are able to keep people engaged naturally, that is a gift that you may seriously want to consider using. Please more lectures!!
watch her animal quest series its great
I love learning from someone significantly younger than me. Your passion for the subject is evident, and the format is great in that it takes away all of the unnecessary pomp and circumstance that comes from a classic classroom setting. This is what I wish college was like.
This is a fantastic educational presentation. Brody did amazing on the editing. If all information was this digestible, I think everyone would love learning.
Im so glad Maya came back to streaming, she’s such a positive person on the platform.
the stream was really fun and actually super interesting. now that its a video i can make my friends watch it too hehe
You seem like a natural at teaching, this is not an easy subject and you made it fun. Thank you!
I thought this was gonna be dry
but it was actually really well paced and super well cut!
also the comments from chat she Reda out were pretty funny "does he have ethernet there?"
Two weaks ago: "Surely a video about tiny mic interviews can improve a relaxing break?"
Yesterday: "Could I interest you in a goat walk with a certain headbutt risk to nearby children?"
Today: "Sex."
All hail the algorithm
This is not a topic I can put up with easily due to my past traumas but Maya's responses to the comments and the education style kept me in it for the whole video. Thanks for sharing so many things I didn't know.
Maya out here teaching us more than school ever could & she takes zero nonsense
Had to restrain and hold back for describing human acts but went into explicit detail for other organisms. Very informative video, although I regret eating dinner while watching
Finally got some time to watch this and all I can say is WOW. Maya something about the way you educate and engage is exceptional and chat being wild adds a touch of hilarity. 10/10 video
PLEASE do another one of these when you get time Mayo! I had a dumb grin on my face for the whole vid _and_ I learned stuff.
Also chat you guys are really funny
As a kid i LOVED animals and still retain so much information as a mid-20s year old, but this video was so fun and educational to watch! It has brought some much needed animal kingdom content to my life, and thanks so much for that ❤
The music just unleashed an unhealthy barrage of stardew memories unto me and i will be suing
At this rate Maya is going to be Gen Z’s Steve Irwin
Animals are insane. It's actually humbling to think how relatively normal we are :)
Rather underdeveloped, cuz our brain developed (read "mutated") while bodies remained the most vulnerable in the animal world 😂 Yet, it is our mutated mind that makes us destroying the animal world and the planet 😳
i have 2 giant east African giant snails and that shit is traumatic.
genuinely so fun and informative! As a former teacher, I can tell you're a natural educator!
Nice educational vid and was a great stream 😁
stream was amazing, glad its a video!
Let’s go Mayaaa!! New knowledge always appreciated
Imagine if when we whacked the stick we made as loud a noise as those water fleas that make music by rubbing their wee wee. Thank god for the fact we don’t.
whenever I think of bees boinking, what always comes to mind is the scene of Sarah Conner in T2 breaking the key in the door
Seriously one of the funniest and most informative videos I've seen. Really appreciate the work in both the presentation and editing! I'd love for more content like this
This is great, funny and educational at the same time!
yet another banger of a video !
This is actually amazing content, you have great ways of explaining for anyone to understand, I would watch a lot of videos like this for sure.
This is why I like being a human
Genuinely good content. I always feel like streams are difficult to sit through but this is educational and entertaining at the same time.
I love this, and this is the kind of content Id want to make. Amazing stuff as always, Maya
That was honestly awesome, super entertaining, funny 👌
I wish my teachers would have done such a good job !
this video was awesome. genuinely so informative and entertaining. please keep uploading these streams!!
this is super super interesting and maya made it so fun to learn about
one of my favorite videos of Maya ever. I love all things animals and the way you actually taught logically, properly, and you were able to make people laugh is great. Awesome stuff
Thank you for this stream!
Awesome presentation Maya really enjoyed it ❤❤
This video was so much info I did not need and am not better off knowing but I had a great time learning regardless, see ya in the next one Maya
Your work on the internet is so important and thank you so much for doing what you do!!!!!
The editing is on point in this video👌
Solid presentation, watched it in pieces over the course of my Sunday.
please more longform educational content like this
I'm a simple man. I see Maya talking about animals, I like the video.
this was a genuinely fun way to learn and i hope there are more videos/streams that are both educational about animals and entertaining to watch!
I needed ur positive energy rn thanks dood
Amazing Video as always. Love what you do, this world needs more people like you. 👍🏻👍🏻
Great stream. Very informative. Well done
Chat had me rolling through this video. Learned a lot and got a sixpack from laughing at chat. 10/10 video!
I'm so glad this became a RUclips video I was SO SAD I missed the stream 🙌 let's go learning
The editor is on point
I can safely say I've never had so much fun and so much interest in learning like I did with this video

You really do make learning this stuff fun and more interesting, great work 👍
This is one of the best videos I've seen this year
Maya is amazing. And so good at what she does.
Maya is a gift that keeps on giving
this was a good watch nice format
I learned so much. Thank you!
You are an absolute natural as a teacher!
This is my favorite video you have ever put out.
I've heard that snakes have two hemipenes because they're using the genes for two back legs that they no longer use. Also, they can alternate which one they use for mating so they can mate again sooner.
This is one of the most educational and funniest videos I've ever watched, like this is what made me subscribe lmaooo. Twitch lives seem like so much fun, I'm gonna have to join yall some time!
So glad I stumbled upon your channel.
Awesome content! thank you ♥
Wren was the first RUclipsr sponsor I have watched from beginning to end.... a brilliant initiative. Thanks for sharing it with us Maya.
this is so good holy
I did learn a lot.
This was a great presentation!!!
Very informational, thank you maya
that was really impressive! hope you do more like this. so much weird variety
I WOULDNT MIND ANOTHER VIDEO LIKE THIS ITS SO LAIDBACK AND FOR SOME REASON WHOLESOME?
Great lesson. I'll never use this information, but it's definitely interesting.
