On the 2nd question the right answer is A. BCD are 678 and all have different corner counts inside. It also is wrong to argue that the star in C has 7 corners, it has 14.
Same conclusion. The fact that they are different would say it is not a pattern. You cannot distill anything from the rotation of the arrows along the rows. Instead, you CAN argue that the middle column is consistent. So you can also argue, to leave that out entirely. What you have left is that the first column, is consistently opposite of the last column. So, the answer should be D.
@ hesterdekoninck B can also be the correct answer. For the first rotation is 90 degrees. Then the next rotation from second position is 180 degrees. The next rotation from the third position could be 360 degrees. Doubling with each position as oppose to adding.
Interesting videos, however, would be great if you answered the questions and validate the answers given in the comments as you say you will in the video, otherwise it's just frustrating
In my opinion there is a another way of looking at Q2. options B, C and D all have one outward cornering shape and one inward cornering shape, but A has 2 outward cornering shapes. So A could be the odd one out. BUt is that thought process valid?
I agree 100%. If analytical thinking dictates that the block with shapes with an odd number of corners is the answer, then why can't it also (or alternatively) be A, which is the only block that contains shapes with less than 5 sides🤷♂️

Sorry. But you’re wrong regarding the second question about which does not belong in the group. The correct answer is A. You’re corners logic does not work because you are incorrectly identifying the number of corners. Selections BCD have shapes that have different corner numbers. Eg. The shapes in box B contain 6 corners and 12 corners (counting acute and obtuse) With this logic the odd one out is box A. Where box shapes contain 4 corners.
I don't know I feel like multiple patterns can be seen here. Just because whoever made the questions thought of one solution doesn't mean all other solutions are wrong.

at 1:20 the 4th position is wrong, if the pattern is moving one "click) at the time the dark triangles should be pointing to the 3 & 6 o'clock time but the arrow should be pointing at the 2 o'clock time, the way you showed it on the response the arrow is skipping 2 moves
You're failing to use your brain. The long arrows follow similar but different rules from the rest of the arrows. You failed understanding that yet still felt like acting like a fool and "correcting" the puzzle. These things are designed to weed out fools like you

Uum, the second answer, I answered D because all other answeres have the same number of prongs except the D shape. Why would your way of viewing corners instead of prongs be the right way?
This is what I find extremely frustrating about all of these tests. In many cases, you can make arguments for multiple answers, which I think actually punishes some of the more intelligent test takers. Even watching videos like this corrupts original thought because you're trying to "think like the test administrators" just to get a good score. Very silly and inconsiderate of a truly brilliant mind (in my opinion).
@@andrewwhite4111 I agree. In no way am I brilliant but some of these tests are really wonky in my opinion, meaning I can find multiple ways of solving them. A good test is where you know the answer is 100% right.

My husband has had 3strokes,and also became an epileptic,for 3 years now, was in a coma last year. He is starting to do his cognitive testing soon. I thought this might help him try to get his memories back,he is an educated person (Law and Society degree). I have had learning disability’s ( dislexia) my whole life,I’m 61. Oh my goodness there is no way I would ever be able to understand this! Any ideas,for me to help him practice some mind exercises,as frustration does set in at times. Thanks for your time.🌸🌼🌺🇬🇧🇨🇦
I'm very sorry Michelle about your husband's health issues! Please don't ever be frustrated!!! and tell your husband the same. It's a great idea to use such videos for helping him to retrain his brain and try to bring him where he used to be. Could you please do me a favor and find a wheel in the right bottom corner of the videos - it's a settings button. By clicking on it you get options to change the speed of the videos - you can choose a slower one (multiple options are offered) and see if it'd be easier for him and you to follow along. I use this feature myself all the time and find it to be very useful as we're all different and are in different stages of our lives. Hope you'll be able to find it beneficial and please don't give up! I have many different tutorials and with lots of great and fun questions. Don't get frustrated if you don't understand right away - just keep pushing your brain out of its comfort zone. Please keep me posted on your progress and update with your husband's condition. my dad also had multiple strokes but luckily his neuro is not too bad. Besides puzzles and quizzes, perhaps you should also get him to watch older movies, listen and sing to music he used to enjoy, painting and variety of interactive activities and games; plus rehab. The important thing is to encourage and push him to do things he enjoys too. Also check the plaque in his carotid arteries - because previously some of my dad's strokes were mistaken as epileptic seizures but was caused by moving plaque blocking blood circulation to the brain.

Sorry. But you’re wrong regarding the second question about which does not belong in the group. The correct answer is A. You’re corners logic does not work because you are incorrectly identifying the number of corners. Selections BCD have shapes that have different corner numbers. Eg. The shapes in box B contain 6 corners and 12 corners (counting acute and obtuse)
With this logic the odd one out is box A. Where box shapes contain 4 corners.

at 1:20 the 4th position is wrong, if the pattern is moving one "click) at the time the dark triangles should be pointing to the 3 & 6 o'clock time but the arrow should be pointing at the 2 o'clock time, the way you showed it on the response the arrow is skipping 2 moves

Uum, the second answer, I answered D because all other answeres have the same number of prongs except the D shape. Why would your way of viewing corners instead of prongs be the right way?
This is what I find extremely frustrating about all of these tests. In many cases, you can make arguments for multiple answers, which I think actually punishes some of the more intelligent test takers. Even watching videos like this corrupts original thought because you're trying to "think like the test administrators" just to get a good score. Very silly and inconsiderate of a truly brilliant mind (in my opinion).
@@andrewwhite4111 I agree. In no way am I brilliant but some of these tests are really wonky in my opinion, meaning I can find multiple ways of solving them. A good test is where you know the answer is 100% right.

My husband has had 3strokes,and also became an epileptic,for 3 years now, was in a coma last year. He is starting to do his cognitive testing soon.
I thought this might help him try to get his memories back,he is an educated person (Law and Society degree).

I'm very sorry Michelle about your husband's health issues! Please don't ever be frustrated!!! and tell your husband the same. It's a great idea to use such videos for helping him to retrain his brain and try to bring him where he used to be.
Could you please do me a favor and find a wheel in the right bottom corner of the videos - it's a settings button. By clicking on it you get options to change the speed of the videos - you can choose a slower one (multiple options are offered) and see if it'd be easier for him and you to follow along. I use this feature myself all the time and find it to be very useful as we're all different and are in different stages of our lives. Hope you'll be able to find it beneficial and please don't give up! I have many different tutorials and with lots of great and fun questions. Don't get frustrated if you don't understand right away - just keep pushing your brain out of its comfort zone. Please keep me posted on your progress and update with your husband's condition. We all with you the best!!!

my dad also had multiple strokes but luckily his neuro is not too bad. Besides puzzles and quizzes, perhaps you should also get him to watch older movies, listen and sing to music he used to enjoy, painting and variety of interactive activities and games; plus rehab. The important thing is to encourage and push him to do things he enjoys too. Also check the plaque in his carotid arteries - because previously some of my dad's strokes were mistaken as epileptic seizures but was caused by moving plaque blocking blood circulation to the brain.

I did NOT like how you structure this, as there are few questions without answers and you requested us to try our own and WRITE in the comment the answer, BUT the problem is how to write the answer WITHOUT numbering the questions!!??? at least you should have added the number of each question.. i got stuck with knowing some answers and hence we cant know it, also, your strategy is to make sure we keep watching all your videos to see the answers, which I hate since I am preparing for a real test and need to learn
