If you do decide to sign up and would want an additional 5000 aUEC starting credits, I'd humbly ask for you to use my code during account creation.

A lot can be said about the ship prices in this game, but the fact that you don't get locked into, or out of stuff after you only paid once, that's awesome customer service!
thank you so much i hated the aurrora and wanted to try the mustang you saved my interest in this game
Also a pledge can only be reclaimed more than 24 hour after it is acquired
Awesome! And yes! more videos.
thanks for your help. had a bit of trouble after exchanging ships. had to analyze files on rsi launcher then restart pc now seems fine !
Glad to hear you figured out. However, exchanging ships doesn’t modify your locally installed game files. This was probably a coincide that game file corruption occurred right when you tried to do an exchange
But beware (Discounted starter packages CANNOT be purchased with store credit )
CS have gave me my credits back after upgrading a referral ship (I did not know) - but be warned they may not always do this. Good video 👍
That’s a great point! Customer support is needed to ‘melt’ upgrades applied to a referral ship. Always be certain you are happy with your chain before using a referral as your LTI token.
I have BMM with 6 months insurance. Originally an upgraded game package. I want a LTI on the BMM. How do I upgrade the insurance to LTI? Do I need to buy another game package?
i upgraded my ship and applied it but it still shows the old ship in my fleet manager :((
character reset from the web site fixed it fyi
It is true that on the RSI website that it will only show the base hull. However, there should also be a new icon on the base hull that looks like a microchip badge. If you mouse over it should show you what upgrades have been applied. Additionally, you should also be able to see that the shop has increased to the value of the new ship.
I haven’t heard of applying a CCU ever going wrong before, but glad that a character reset got you back on the right track.
@@lonnixlethe I upgraded and I still have and can use my starter? How?
hey i wanted to ask that i won a giveaway which is dragonfly black lti but it doesnt include game package as you know so do i have to exchange it ? i dont know how that processs works
Hey! So you can always melt it back into store credits to buy a game package. However, LTI ships are pretty valuable if you’d ever want to upgrade. I’d recommend holding on to the token if you can. If you are looking to experience the game to learn if you’d like to buy a regular starter pack there are often free fly events. However, the last free fly event just ended so it may be a few months before there is another one
@@lonnixlethe okay thanks
Hey Lonnix, video is awesome but i have a question, do you know if i can melt my current game package and use that money to upgrade a referral item into a game package ship?
To the best of my knowledge, game packages can only be purchased with base hulls. This means you if you did melt your game package and apply it to a referral ship, you wouldn't be able to access the game. Instead, I'd recommend keeping your base package and upgrading your referral ship to the ship you want, because referral ships typically have LTI. I know this way costs more, but it ensures you can still access the game because you will own a game package.
If i exchange my game package pledge, does my rep reset?
Don’t believe so, but I am not 100% sure. I believe that only resets during a character reset.
So if I upgrade my starter ship to whatever ship I want to buy does it stay forever and won’t get wiped?
If you buy the upgrade with a CCU it will persist across wipes. Only ships purchased in game with aUEC will get wiped.
Thank you!
Did what you said and now I can't play the game because i don't have a pledge
Oh no! I really sorry to hear this. It seems as though the critical instructions at 3:25 may have been missed. However, this situation should be easily rectifiable by melting your non-game-package ship and putting the funds back into a game package ship.
OK, i do not understand one thing, Why you do not pay Taxes? Its bc. of using store credits or what?
This is a great question. If I am honest, I am not 100% sure, but I think your guess of using store credits could be entirely possible. Sorry for not having a more definitive answer on this topic.
@@lonnixlethe I test it by myself and it looks that when you invest once real money, you do not need to pay tax again. You only pay according tax for ammout of new real money invested.
@@Luzganek makes sense! Thanks for following up and sharing what you learned
Does everything you own in game ships and uec and intro bonus dragon fly and credits stay or do they all get wiped?
As I wish to exchange my game package get the cheapest one possible and then upgrade my dragonfly to a 325a or titan for lifetime insurance then upgrade my aroura to a ursa rova as I barley use it but hate the aroura 😂
The short answer is that anything you earn in game will be affected by wipes and won't carry over past the alpha of the game. Anything you buy or upgrade outside of the game will be permanently associated to your account and will persist throughout wipes and also be available at the official launch of the game.
Where was the "for free" part?
The free part is the ability to move around existing funds in the game to any other ship without paying additional money. This video shows you how to do that. This means that you don't need to pay any additional money and can 'for free' try any ship up to your pledge value.
Now if you melted a discounted ship or upgrade, or a ship's price went up after you melted an upgrade you will have to buy it back for the current price not for the original one.
This is true! Unless you purchase from back from your buy back queue. Though this only works for upgrades if you melt before applying. Additionally, CIG has updated the price of upgrades in the buy back queue to match current increased prices, so its not a safe place to leave your upgrades.
Thanks, space jew
