bought the game a few days ago and went with the mustang I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THERE WAS A CARGO RACK, I gave the ship a once over when in-game and I guess I never saw the cargo bay prompt, i have been jank-ily putting small cargo in the cockpit with me. this guide has already helped
One of the more important features of a starter ship (and the reason you will own one even if you have way bigger ships) is the low claim time. Even the Nomad is around 4 minutes, compared with the almost 10 minutes of a Cutlass Black. CIG has said that the claim times are going to be increased drastically in the future. Having a ship that can be claimed quickly from anywhere, is very useful.
You are right. on another tutorial i saw that the Origin 100 series are fastest type of recall time and can spawn them on ground post like a ground veachicles. Also its says that they have a great light for the dark part of the map. Why no one add this kind of things in the tutorial. When you are new to the game you usually die a lot until you learn how to flight or fight.
Just a quick note (in case someone missed it): some of the T2 starters can go down to 45 USD during IAE or Invictus Launch week (the other yearly event). In recent years, it’s been the Cutter and the Pisces. The Avenger will also go down often, but not to Aurora levels.
Would it be smart to buy the current Mustang game package with 10% discount and life time insurance and then upgrade the package to an Avenger Titan? Or should I rather wait to see if the Titan itself is ever on discount?
@@kingotime8977 (I apologize in advance for the paragraph... if you want to skip to the end go ahead lol) I myself don't have any experience upgrading (When I first bought my package, the Cutter just launched and was down to $45 USD with the game - I got lucky) but I do know that you only get back the sale price you paid when trading in - you do keep your insurance level, though. There's no guarantee that the Titan, Cutter, or Pisces will ever go on sale again for as low a price, but that is what has happened somewhat consistently in the past. For example, the Titan starter pack has had less of a discount (still significant, but not down to $45..) in recent years - so it will likely stay that way. As for LTI, we still have no idea what it means, but it seems to be important, considering CIG only sell it on special occasions. In the long run, your starter does not make a huge difference because you can buy (or rent) every flyable ship with in-game credits. Plus, stats only mean so much. A good Aurora pilot can outfly an average Avenger any day, assuming they know their ship's strengths. A Mustang carries less cargo, but if you know optimal trade routes you can make more trading/hauling than a Titan that doesn't do so. Basically, the titan has a higher power ceiling - just not by much. Most of the time more money = more specialized/complicated rather than straight-up better. The Titan is the exception, but it's still just a starter and you'll likely end up wanting a better ship ASAP anyway. You can try the titan by renting it in-game. you might think that you like the mustang better. Who knows? Of course, do what you feel is best. But right now think of that mustang package as the cheapest way to access every ship in the game. If you like the game, keep it. upgrade it if the Titan goes down to $45 again - or if you think the cost is worth it - You'll keep the LTI. if you don't, don't waste your time waiting for a sale that, while likely, might not happen again - or you might not be interested in to begin with. Edit: just to clarify, in the current system, if you trade a pledge in for store credit, you get %100 of the price you paid for it, (not its new/current value) and any extras you had will be applied to the new package (insurance, hangers, paints if applicable, etc.)
I got my Avenger T as a starter ship at the last Invictus with 10 years insurance. I had a Freelancer that I had CCU from the Aurora starter with (I think) 12 month insurance (not that insurance means anything) … I melted the whole package for the Titan, with the blue Invictus skin for $45 and used the store credit with a Hoverquad LTI token to buy a Freelancer MAX, then a MIS. Bargains can be had, but usually need new money.

Quick heads up, the avenger titan has 8 scu of cargo space, not 6. Otherwise, a lovely video and certainly an excellent resource to everyone looking to make a choice. Keep up the good work!
I love my nomad. BUT I didn't start with it. I got the Aurora first when the game started way back when. Then upgraded to the Reliant and then finally upgraded to the Nomad. So I didn't straight up pay that full amount for the Nomad. I essentially split the cost up over a very long period. Which helped the wallet! But if I had to buy from scratch I think the Titan isn't a bad idea. It's got a boring interior but it is an overall great starter ship!
I hope they can find ways to give crew more to do without making the tasks tedious While it will be nice to see fewer huge ships being operated solo because crew is needed something I feel the game needs is a way to make it logistically hard to maintain large fleets of huge ships. This would force players to make choices like having 10 light ships vs 1 carrack vs 3 medium ships in the cost of ownership being fairly equal on all those choices, thus its not just the cost to buy the ship and maintain insurance when that part of the game comes into play. This would be done by raising the cost of ownership with things like insurance, but also slip/hanger storage fees, landing fees, and other such costs that exists in the real world of owning large boats or aircraft. To be clear I am not saying there should be any limit to how many ships you own but you would need to play more and earn more to handle the expenses associated with owning all these assets.
I always say that there isn't a 'best starter ship" when looking for a starter ship you should be looking at what ship allows you to start making money the way you want to at the start. If you like dogfighting, get a fighter, if you like salvaging buy a salvage ship.. if you want a small mix of everything buy an avenger titan
Honestly, a major consideration is how useful the "starter" will be once you earn a mil aUEC or so to get a bigger ship. It is here where the Pisces (especially the C8R) shines because it is so easy to fly or hop around in and has a really short reclaim timer. If you get your bigger ship stranded somewhere or die to a silly thing, the Pisces will get you to where you were to recover your ship and loot in a hurry, plus the C8R is always top tier for bunker missions forever. All the starters have unique considerations for long-term or, dare I say, end game applications that you should keep in mind. But the ultimate truth is *fly what you love*
My second account "Zero to Hero" starter was the Nomad, and I dig what it offers. Sure you can jump up to the Cutty Black or Freelancer (my original account starter) but the small components and other aspects for future gameplay make it ideal in my opinion. And if you knock the Nomad for where it sits in pricepoint because you can jump up, that same jump can be made for that amount from starters below the Nomad. 😉
It's all a matter of preference and play style ofc, so there is no wrong answer. But imo, the way I play, the Nomad is my favourite recommendation as the best Starter in SC. Yes, it's costs a tiny bit more than many of the other Starters, but with 24scu paired with a Tractor Beam, the ability to carry small ground vehicles, 3x S3 weapon hard points and 3x S1 Shields, the Nomad is clearly the superior ship here. The only negative, to me, is that it is a bit sluggish. But that's nothing to complain about for a Starter, imo.
i was all in from the start. so i Chose the Cutty Black at 110 at the time. i have never considered my self as a combat pilot but i dont mind support or back-up. so for non-combatants i like the cutter and the C8. they make great every day drivers or delivery. but thats just me. lol great job on the vid. keep up the good work.
Beautiful guide Kodiak. I am a backer since 2016 and I play quite a bit with my org. I watch a lot of your videos, however this is the only game I know enough before watching your guides ... and man, beautiful guide for starter recommendations. Always loved your videos but I believe I've never left a comment before. This one I just had to. o7 Captain, see you in the Verse.

never thought id see the day that legacy gaming does content on star citizen! been playing the game for 5 years now and love to see others getting into it!
@@LegacyGamingUS fair enough man, I love your content and the way you make guides so I’m extremely happy with star citizen! I know you probably got a full crew but if you do more star citizen stuff my crew and fleet will always be open!
i was thinking of getting the game and this helped deciding on what ship to choose and the ship im going to get is on sale rn too so this was great timing
The Reliant Core could be such an excellent starter ship but is really held back by its age and bugs. In almost every other patch the ship gets bugged out and really isn't too useable. Its sad because it has pretty much everything youd need to survive in the verse on top of having really great firepower when you add all the guns. I really hope this ship gets some love from CiG!
I love the Syulen but it’s not a starter in terms of difficulty of use. For an intermediate player it’s a fun little ship for extended outings. Auroras are fine and versatile. Titan is likely the all round best starter for versatility and ease of use.
I've been using my Syulen recently for box missions, a staple of beginners, but a courier at heart, am I. From an action efficiency standpoint, it is not the best - the 125a I own is superior. But it's living arrangements and other options, especially quantum fuel, do make it a good choice for extended and far-flung travels.
@@ericwollaston5654 yeah I like using mine for days long bunker adventures. Load up supplies then orbit Hurston, ducking down for bunker runs and then going back to orbit to log out. It sort of looks like a satellite dish so I enjoy it for that.
Nomad is a personal favorite. It's weird little quirks like the flatbed and the weird angled bathroom/storage doors, it's speed, durability, maneuvarability - It's just the perfect all-rounder. I have two LTI starters, and one of them I upgraded to the Nomad on a whim. I will literally NEVER upgrade from it - it's the most obscenely balanced solo-starter. The fact that you have access to almost every gameloop from the outset with it (sans salvage and space mining) means it's a perfect base to kick off from, and work towards bigger stuff like a Freelancer/Cutty/C1.
nice video. I started with the cutter game package as it was the cheapest do it all. I love all the starters, but if I were to do it again I would do the nomad. Most of all I'd look for the longest insurance LTI preferably since it seems like we are getting a lot closer to release. The nomad at this time overheats and you need to change the engine so, not a good starter. Freelancer and Cutlass are great if you are comfortable spending the money.
@legacygaming As the user of gimbals on Ships will be universal in the future, and the (-1 Size) thing will be in the past, it will be interesting when that arrives. Players just choose to use gimbals or not, gaining benefits for the latter choice.
great up to date, and HONEST starter ship video. love the addition of the syulen. I'm posting this on my personal Facebook page to further push to my friends and family about this game. great job and you've got another sub from me.
Reliant series comes with a free titan loaner because they are so bad. I still think the Reliant series is a good pick up, because the only way they can fix the ship is to size it up, which means a price increase. I expect it to become a medium ship, with an extended back end and s2 shields or gun size increase or both. Nothing else, aside from a complete redesign, could make it viable. Either that, or they will leave it alone and let it always be bad. It's too bad, the Tana is really cool on paper but even loving it for its aesthetics, it is a PAIN IN THE BUTT to land and fly.
I hope reliants get some TLC, kore cargo bay should get heightened a bit so it can house 12 scu and be a light freighter, then move the components into the base of the wings and use the opened space for either beds/racks or just more scu. If they did that then it would be an excellent starter and one to rival the titan
Heads up, not all flyable ships are purchasable ingame. For example, special promotional deals keep the Intel themed Sabre Raven, and the AMD themed Mustang Omega, both of which are not just reskins but unique variants of ships with their own unique gameplay features and hulls, locked only to accounts of people who redeemed the code that came with specific hardware. Tbere are still others such as the Sythe, available only to subscribers or buyers of the original "Captured Sythe", the F8C which is locked to accounts that either submitted a golden ticket from its flyable release event or citizens who pledge $10,000 dollars or more. Some of these, such as the F8C will change in time to be available to earn in game, but others such as the brand-deal ones will never be available to buy in game barring a new or changed brand deal with Intel and AMD.
Cutter can have 2xs2 weapons actually, has much more quantum fuel than other small ships allowing you to use the fastest military drive and not need to refuel when traveling across Stanton, and also has more armor than others negating the single s1 shield.
Correction: You can't purchase "EVERY SHIP THAT IS CURRENTLY FLYABLE". Ships do not usually become purchasable in-game until the NEXT patch after their release. IE: if a ship released in 3.20, you won't be able to buy it until 3.21 releases. Sometimes it happens in a smaller patch like 3.20.1 but its not common.
The nomad is the hest starter ship when on sale. I picked it up for €80 in a starter pack. Tgt with a bunch of other goodies like armor, weapons, paint for the ship and another something i cant remember.
Best starter ship is the Cutlass Black. Best ship for upgrading from the starter is still the Cutlass Black. It has plenty of cargo room with space for small ground vehicles, a ramp, a tractor beam, decent pilot weapons, two beds, a shower, and is multicrew capable, all while having a good jump range.
I wouldn’t knock the Nomad when it’s $30 less expensive than the Cutlass and Freelancer. Same difference as between the Aurora and Avenger. Speaking of the Avenger, it has 8 SCU not 6.
Maybe also check in next week during citcon for sale. If you want to play now just hop on a sale. Id recommend the cheapest game package that you can get. At first. If you have any doubt that you wont enjoy it or that maybe you arent patient enough for this (at times) unplayable game, then wait for November free fly
I know I'm a bit late to this video, but when talking about the Nomad, you said gear has an impact on your flight capabilities. what do you mean? Aside from the obvious. Does your armor actually affect the way a ship flies?
small correction: you cannot fly any ship that is currently flyable ingame. a lot of ships are gated for a lot of patches until they get purchasable ingame, whereas you can access them with real money directly without waiting half a year or longer.
Well newly released ships are usually not available for ingame money for 1 maybe 2 patches. Also ships bought ingame will all be gone when a major reset comes. Also every new patch can randomly make ingame bought ships disappear for no reason. And while its been ridiculously easy to make a lot of money for ingame ships in more recent patches it usually isnt
1:11 i hear this A LOT every ship you can buy in game. How much is the f8 lightning in game? or the C1 Spirit? Argo SRV? Syulen? Not every flyable ships can be bought in game yet and they add ships all the time. Can take 6 months to a year before new ships that are flyable get added to the in game shop.
Pity they are moving away from larger ships being operated by one player. Really resistant to a game I have to find someone else to log in to just kill a hour or three.
@@LegacyGamingUS (livid) I mean you guys obviously have the rig for it at the company. Get him involved in the next Siege of Orison or jumptown. If that chaos can't hook him nothing will.
So all in-game purchases during Alpha/Beta releases will vanish due to server wipes before the final release goes live? This includes all in-game money earned?
I’d argue the aurora is a better dog fighter in PvP than the mustang. Just make sure you get the Aurora LN! The Aurora LN is a better dog fighter than all other starter ships around the $50 mark To get better in the around $100 price mark you have to go for the gladius or the $85 arrow. An Aurora LN would absolutely destroy the Titan. (Haven’t tried the new ship, might be stronger). If my aim was spending the least amount of money and getting a good starter fighter. I’d buy the cheapest starter pack. Say the Mustang alpha because it’s currently on offer, and for $10 upgrade to the Aurora LN now you have a great little fighter better than anything at that price point. Although for $85 with a game package the Arrow is one of the best single seater dogfighters in the game, so if you can spare the extra $30, it might be worth going that route. To conclude: Mustang Alpha (ship value $30) with game access = $40.50 (currently on offer) Upgrade to Aurora LN (ship value $40) = $10 Total = $50.50 Better fighter than anything up to $85 and that would be the arrow.
Dammit... I want to start with Star Citizen and I can't decide which ship I should take to start. I reeeeeeally like the look of the Syulen and it is my favorite, but the more information I gather, the more is the Avenger Titan in this choice of mine, but just for utility. The look of the Titan is... not my thing really... Is it really that important to transport vehicles early in the Game?
Personally, i don't think so. But it also depends on what type of player you want to be. If you think mining is going to be your thing, you'll "eventually" need to transport the ROC. But things aren't cheap in-game. And i feel like if you start out hand mining in caves (so you don't have to spend a lot of real world $ to start out), by the time you can afford the ROC, you may change your mind and want to pursue something else. Just something to consider. If you're fine dropping $$ to get started, sure go ahead and buy a ship that can transport the ROC, and the ROC, and get right to it. I also think this is one of those "life" games, meaning go from zero to hero over the course of months/years. Not purchasing your way to end game content right away. Enjoy the journey!
In my opinion i respect how big this game was and how all it was in real-time (didnt pley ever game just watched videos) but those ships are too expensive. Can something explain me if you buy 100$ ship or any other cheaper or more expensive, if someone attack you and destroy your ship did you lost ship for always or what happened?! 🤔
01:10 the Vulture is NOT purchasable in game. Its been out almost a year, and CIG still has it behind a paywall.. and its the only game mechanic right now making millions (multiple millions) of credits.
you overlook many things... first the aurora is one of the best in combat right now over the mustang or the pisces due to it's size. and fit in any ship that got a landing bay unlike the mustang. second the pisces got a tank fuel 10 time bigger and allow to explore a planet without really any bother for refuel... but doesn't offer any logout bed, which make the cutter better in that regard, tho less effective in combat. but the pisces ca be upgraded to the rescus variant which offer medical supply and you still have place for a 1scu crate to fit in for bunker run. third; 100i is a joke in combat; and if you are to go for the 100 series... juste take the 135c. fourth; if you put the avenger then add the 300 serie in aswell... as for the 300, again you better go for the 315p which is the same price as the 135c.... and got 12 scu and a tractor bean instead of the 3rd weapon that the avenger has; also twice more fuel tank than the pisces... and much faster and nimble than the avenger. fifth; the Reliant Tana is better to get than the Kore if you plan on being 2 players playing together... it's give 2 beds logout allowing to always tag along... 1 Scu for a crate for bunker run... alot of firepower to do PvE combat missile, it's a special one as if you are 2 thinking about joining... one could take the lowest price starter pack and the other a tana and you just always play together, and follow each other with the logout bed. something that is sad is that CIG doesn't allow to make a team account and buy a package as a team... that would be interesting... as two players could get a team account and a ship and that ship would be shared and whenever any player would log on that ship would be available.
Yeah there is piracy and all that among players, but you can claim a new ship from a ship terminal should anything happen to it, it just has a respawn timer essentially.
Which isn't to say that it's all fine & dandy after you lose your ship, because you do lose all the components/cargo/equipment you had on it. Reclaiming another ship will only deliver a "factory version" of it without all the customizations
dont get to crazy about engineering a small ship like the freelanzer and cutless will still easely be useble by solo players its more about the really massiv ships when it will become a problem but yeah from the prize paying 125 just to get started is way too much
1:10 extremely disingenuous if you leave out that it's with raising ingame prices, lowering ingame income and a war thunder style grind system. unless of course you are promoting the game rather than giving a real review.
Yep, we won't deny those signs are definitely there. Still a ways to go before we see how the balancing all plays out in the long term. Larger, more expensive ships (both IRL cash and in-game currency) will require anywhere from a few to dozens of additional crew members to function with the engineering side of things. They also have much much longer claim times if destroyed so there are already a few safeguards in place that still make single seater, cheaper, or easily obtainable ships more likely to be the most common occurrence in game.
People keep mistaking this project for a game and calling people who back this project players or gamers is an over simplification. If you want to play a videogame don't get upset when you can't do what you want in verse. Its more a sandbox simulation at the moment but eventually it will be very expensive as people start living in the verse rather than just doing gameplay loops
It’s a game it’s in early development but all in all a game. And people who are “playing” it are gamers it’s not an over simplification it’s just facts
Hahahaha this is absurd. I'm not living inverse in a game. I'm gonna keep living my life and enjoying my hobby. Sorry bud, you're just a consumer not the next stage of transhumanist development. If your life sucks so much you want to escape it, that is something to be addressed, not accepted. Im in the same boat so I feel for you, dont take this as a rebuke.
Totally our initial thought as well but we've seen really skilled players dance all over more advanced player ships using even one of these base starters. Additionally the larger the ship, the more actual players you'll need on board said ship to make it function, especially with engineering gameplay on the horizon. This means the smaller, cheaper, and easily obtainable ships in the game will be a far more common presence within the game long term, since larger groups will be require to even use those larger ships. Those larger ships also have much much longer claim timers when/if they are destroyed in combat. If you wanted to just check the game out, it's also completely free to try everything this whole week due to the IAE free fly event.
the aurora is the garbage can of star citizen lol i hated that i chose this ship as my starter and finally switched it out for the medical pisces and now own that and a cutless black the BEST starter ship
the nomad had two weapons rack u forgot to mention and most ships when first released where alot cheaper, i got my nomad with the two skins for 70 usd on launch the fact its 95 is funny
If you are more combat focused, Titan. If you want a great entry into ground mining with a ROC or larger trading capacity, Nomad. That's a solid discount on either.

But that's nothing to complain about for a Starter, imo.
a tiny bit more? its more than double the price of the mustang & aurora no way im spending allat
I own a Nomad. It's honestly a great ship!
@@Cum_Guzzler Then don't, no one is forcing you.
i was all in from the start. so i Chose the Cutty Black at 110 at the time. i have never considered my self as a combat pilot but i dont mind support or back-up. so for non-combatants i like the cutter and the C8. they make great every day drivers or delivery. but thats just me. lol great job on the vid. keep up the good work.
This is all Livid, he’s passionate about this game
Well Livid, that was a great showcase of experience and passion about what this project truly is IMO. Always loved Legacy Gaming, and happy to see you guys have really good grasp on this project. Great job guys, very timely as always :-) @@LegacyGamingUS
never thought id see the day that legacy gaming does content on star citizen! been playing the game for 5 years now and love to see others getting into it!
Livid became a backer a year after the Kickstarter project. Been following it and keeping an eye on it for a long time.
The now: your assessment of the Pisces is correct. The future: armor will help that little guy.
@@ozramblue117 The 6 SCU capacity of internal storage likely helps a lot for bunker loot.
@@ericwollaston5654 it sure does.
There is a new jackal starter pack right now with a ton of extras for a much lower price so you guys should really look into buying that package!!
coming back to this game after awhile and this is a good refresher
Don't the avenger titan have 8 scu?
great up to date, and HONEST starter ship video. love the addition of the syulen. I'm posting this on my personal Facebook page to further push to my friends and family about this game. great job and you've got another sub from me.
Nomad still the best starter ship, and I don't see it getting dethroned anytime soon.
Cutter can have 2xs2 weapons actually, has much more quantum fuel than other small ships allowing you to use the fastest military drive and not need to refuel when traveling across Stanton, and also has more armor than others negating the single s1 shield.
gasp!! how dare you lol :D the Pisces is THE BEST starter ship. :D
Awesome review. Has me looking through your channel. I Love ship reviews
Well, the Avenger Titan looks like my favorite 🤩
*You can purchase any flyable ship in-game BESIDES the Mustang Omega and Sabre Raven.
The nomad is the hest starter ship when on sale. I picked it up for €80 in a starter pack. Tgt with a bunch of other goodies like armor, weapons, paint for the ship and another something i cant remember.
I LOVE this video! Earned a sub!
Cutty black has a shower? Where? I don’t see a shower. 🤔
I wouldn’t knock the Nomad when it’s $30 less expensive than the Cutlass and Freelancer. Same difference as between the Aurora and Avenger. Speaking of the Avenger, it has 8 SCU not 6.
I want to start playing and there is a sale rn, should I get the Syulen, The Cutter or The Nomad?
I would genuinely wait till IAE in November. You'll get a week to play for free and try everything, plus a ton of stuff will be on sale.
@@LegacyGamingUS Alright, thank you for the quick reply ! Do you know by any chance the specific date for the free week?
I don't think it has been revealed quite yet, but it happens every year usually around mid November. Just keep an eye on their website.
Maybe also check in next week during citcon for sale. If you want to play now just hop on a sale. Id recommend the cheapest game package that you can get. At first. If you have any doubt that you wont enjoy it or that maybe you arent patient enough for this (at times) unplayable game, then wait for November free fly
The Avenger Titan starter pack is currently on sale and ends today and you just sold me on it 😂🫡
I know I'm a bit late to this video, but when talking about the Nomad, you said gear has an impact on your flight capabilities. what do you mean?
What's the music at the start of the c8x section?
Is the 325a a good starter?
We have a couple friends who do enjoy it as their starter. We haven't personally really played around with it much.
What is your opinion on the 300i series?
Pity they are moving away from larger ships being operated by one player. Really resistant to a game I have to find someone else to log in to just kill a hour or three.
wow. i wanted to start. watching the video.... prices are 15-20% higher now...
What?!??!! You guys are looking at SC now? Can't wait to see your experiences with the verse.
I have been following SC since 2014 (Livid). One day I'll get Codiak to boot it up
@@LegacyGamingUS (livid) I mean you guys obviously have the rig for it at the company. Get him involved in the next Siege of Orison or jumptown. If that chaos can't hook him nothing will.
you SHOULD own a 100series even if you don't start with it. The fuel efficiency is so overwhelmingly good that it hard to beat for travel.
So all in-game purchases during Alpha/Beta releases will vanish due to server wipes before the final release goes live? This includes all in-game money earned?
can we test all of these in free fly? might look at each of them tomorrow to decide if so
Nomad has a tractor beam now that none of the other starters have that could justify its higher price tag
Sure could, but so does the Cutlass now as well!
great work!! Ling family number 1 delivery guy here, love the cutter, it has a bed but the Pisces is the best, smoothest, fastest starter ship
if you can afford it i definetly recommend avenger titan as a starter
Honestly, with how much triple A games are worth now, 45-60 quid, with extra in-game items seems like a steal.
Fantastic Guide for all the Starter Ships!!!
To conclude:
Mustang Alpha (ship value $30) with game access = $40.50 (currently on offer)
Upgrade to Aurora LN (ship value $40) = $10
Total = $50.50
Better fighter than anything up to $85 and that would be the arrow.
Oh yeah, the LN is really strong, it's just not an "off the rip" available starter package. It does require upgrading/understanding CCUs.
@@LegacyGamingUS yeah, I know you was going for starter ships with game packages. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents lol
thanks a lot! I want to play but its such a complex game, my game time never goes longer than 20~30 min. Its hard to figure it out in a short time
Whens the free flight event?? I need to che k it out
It is going on right now
It's happening at this very moment!
i will say as a psa the mustangs cargo is still bugged just bought it 2 days ago and cannot do any delivery missions
You cant place or tractor beam boxes into the cargohold?
The one you have the most fun with
You get it :)
why is none talking about the hornet f7c ?
I'll save you time, it's the Drake Cutter 🙂
you overlook many things...
first the aurora is one of the best in combat right now over the mustang or the pisces due to it's size.
and fit in any ship that got a landing bay unlike the mustang.
second the pisces got a tank fuel 10 time bigger and allow to explore a planet without really any bother for refuel...
but doesn't offer any logout bed, which make the cutter better in that regard, tho less effective in combat.
but the pisces ca be upgraded to the rescus variant which offer medical supply and you still have place for a 1scu crate to fit in for bunker run.
third; 100i is a joke in combat; and if you are to go for the 100 series... juste take the 135c.
fourth; if you put the avenger then add the 300 serie in aswell...
as for the 300, again you better go for the 315p which is the same price as the 135c.... and got 12 scu and a tractor bean instead of the 3rd weapon that the avenger has;
also twice more fuel tank than the pisces... and much faster and nimble than the avenger.
fifth; the Reliant Tana is better to get than the Kore if you plan on being 2 players playing together... it's give 2 beds logout allowing to always tag along...
Are u saying u can have ur ship stolen ? If so do u lose it ?
No, you can get it back at a terminal
Yeah there is piracy and all that among players, but you can claim a new ship from a ship terminal should anything happen to it, it just has a respawn timer essentially.
Which isn't to say that it's all fine & dandy after you lose your ship, because you do lose all the components/cargo/equipment you had on it. Reclaiming another ship will only deliver a "factory version" of it without all the customizations
dont get to crazy about engineering a small ship like the freelanzer and cutless will still easely be useble by solo players its more about the really massiv ships when it will become a problem but yeah from the prize paying 125 just to get started is way too much
The any other game ship.
The Aegis Avenger Titan has 8 scu, not 6.
1:10 extremely disingenuous if you leave out that it's with raising ingame prices, lowering ingame income and a war thunder style grind system.
unless of course you are promoting the game rather than giving a real review.
135C foe the win!!
1 titan
2 100i
3 cutter
4 cutter rambler
5 pisces x or r all else not worth it
1-5 Cutter ❤
Another day, another god-tier video by Legacy Gaming
My guy, where is the 300i?
Its really a shame I am to poor to play such a great game
Good review. Still, I kinda hate how Star Citizen is run. I mean it really seems as devs are intent on milking players too hard and it smells of P2W.
Avanger Titan case closed
Oh how far the 300i has fallen!
TITAN ALL THE WAY!
Best starter ship is not one at all, wait for this project to come out. Dont buy into what it can be... you'll be there for years.
For 70$ imo the suylin is the best allaroumd ship in the game and as a bonus it is designed super bad @$$

Oh go play Starfield already Wil you?!
Grown folks are conducting business here!
Those are the kinds of people who have to look down at every key they press. The same ones who spend the most time on fortnite.
you forgot the best the nomad and pieces .
Both are in there
before i spend any penny.. lets them finished the game first AND isnt this pay to win.. being able to buy ships for Real Cash ?
The game is finished guys. It is legally released
it is pay to _skip_ basically the bigger ships allow you to progress slightly faster than people with the same knowledge and skills but smaller ships.
Don’t need to watch your video. The best starter ship is the Reliant Kore, period!
Reliant Kore finally fixed and feelin good
i picked the one i could afford lol
You should add a part about the secret storefronts they have once you spend $1k and $10k on a perpetually unfinished game
Pisces bottom of the list? Tell me you don't play SC without telling me... C8X4L1F3
the aurora is the garbage can of star citizen lol i hated that i chose this ship as my starter and finally switched it out for the medical pisces and now own that and a cutless black the BEST starter ship
the nomad had two weapons rack u forgot to mention and most ships when first released where alot cheaper, i got my nomad with the two skins for 70 usd on launch the fact its 95 is funny
cuttergang
this is hilarious
The Idris isn't a starter ship? shoot.
WOOOHOOOO
now that the avenger is 20% off and nomad 25%, is it worth it , which one is a better buy ? @LegacyGamingUS
If you are more combat focused, Titan. If you want a great entry into ground mining with a ROC or larger trading capacity, Nomad. That's a solid discount on either.
