New idea: start saving all the gps coordinates of the tow jobs and import them to google maps and make a graphic of where all you've been.
That would have been awesome if he had done that. It would be sort of an interactive thing for the fans to go on Google maps and see just how remote some of these vehicles are stuck, like Ed's golden nugget for example.
I think Sand Hollow would be a big, glob of red pins, lol.
This would be good for the OVR crowd as well, they could mitigate troubles while pushing the limits.
Brilliant
Google already tracks you even with location shut off
Hey let's make a map of how we could take our income away....Are and why are you so stupid to recommend that? Bring your crap ride your crap and when you break down not on the map call??????? Oh yeah that guy who posted the spots to avoid and went out of business, but your dumbass will start it up again with your phone call. Go off road take the risk if you want maps of recovered vehicls stay on road. Obviously you have zero clue on off Tar so stay on the road solo dipshit.
I like that Jammie actually seems to enjoys going out on the runs. I can see that as a great enjoyment for the two of them. I guess that's another advantage of the kids getting older.
She was cheering! Loved it!
I think making videos that you know will be seen by thousands of people has made doing recoveries more fun.
I'd be curious how often Jammie went along before youtube.
"Jamie" - Jammie is jelly, grape or otherwise smh
🤣
Why do people think it's OK to drive on a seemingly dry lake bed. Not too much between the ears.
@@robertboyd5562 Easy with judging.I would be totally clueless out there just as you
Would probably be clueless where I live.
We're having the same issue here with Lake Mead. Folks try to drive right up to the water over ground that's only recently seen air after being underwater for 80 years. Fall right through the crust.
Sin City Outdoors has some good vids about Lake Mead. Crazy how low it is!
Never thought I'd see the day MATT ran over (a friends) rope... Yea, stuff happens. This channel is beyond cool. Last year I was in Utah (for the first time) but didn't know your channel back then. If I ever get back there I will be sure to look you all up. Thanks for an excellent channel. Looking forward to seeing the worlds biggest 4x4 wrecker make it's first recovery. Keep up the work guys and gals. Cheers.
Didn't that just leave ya feeling sad and empty? And I respected that man! lol!! Still do!
@@markreetz1001 😂
He ran over it twice, if you count wrapping around the wheel. I can't remember if he had the driver's window open? Either way, he apparently could hear Jamie hollering STOP! at him. Poor George seemed quite upset when he thought Matt was stealing his rope!
And I raised my hand at the screen to get him to stop! Even yelled at ya!!
Been there. Seen the rope. Can honestly say that it's worth the money. Built tougher than described. Comfortable with the thought that I can mail order one if I ever think my van has to go places my Bronco went years ago.
George should of went to Matt's window and told him the rules of being pulled out and do not run over the rope 😂
Um.... Pretty sure George isn't saying a dang thing after breaking the $$$$ morvair windshield
How else would matt know not to do it?
He seemed pretty upset that matt took his rope.
should of ?
Matt told the owner of that rope that he will keep it and give the owner a new one. He said it quietly, but I read his lips. At my age, I read lips quite often.
Matt, what's the number 1 rule? NEVER run over the rope! HAHAHA
The number 1 rule should be to listen to the wife when she says STOP!
@@snoozeflu that too!
So, the real rule is to not run over the rope when it's Matt's rope, otherwise it's fair game.
What’s all that nonsense you talking? Everyone knows the number one and only rule is DONT CROSS THE STREAMS!!
I never get tired of your antics. Your recovery skill are azaming. Love that your family are fully involved. Thanks for entertaining a 62yr old from South Africa
Cheers to South Africa!
Much love 🥰✌💙
Lekker!
" stop 🛑 Stop. 🛑 STOP. 🛑 STOP! 🛑 SSTTOPP!!!!🛑 "
😄😆😂🤣
You did all you could do, Jamie. 😄👍🏻
I actually yelled "STOP" at my monitor.
The Morvair is a beast. I love that sound when you think Matt’s not moving, then he drops the pedal a bit, and the growl just amazing. Love it.
Me too!! I'm in love with that morvair!mom air!! It growls I 😃 😊 so tough
Sooo, over 19K views just minutes after posting a video. Way to go! Thanks for keeping us entertained and educated.
@carmine redd x: doubt
I press x
@carmine redd lol, yea, it's all an alien conspiracy!
@carmine redd From the sounds of it, it seems you get regular visits from ole St Nick!
It's crazy hard to imagine. In 1997 I sailed my 26 ft sailboat around Lone Rock. There seemed to be miles of water around it. Times, they are a changing!
To the point we all need to be worried and concerned what's going to happen.
With the incredible growth and development in SW Utah (St. George/Hurricane), lack of water is going to be an issue.
Here in Australia we had a bad drought for 5 years but now it hasn't stopped raining for 12months and we are flooding. Its just the natural cycle things will get better eventually
@@fatplumber3887 I saw that flooding in Australia! And the year before it was unprecedented fires! I hope you and your family are all okay.
I live in Colorado. This is the only state in America where all water only flows out and none flows into the state. It doesn't come from rain it comes from snow. Lake Powell in the video is fed by the Colorado River and it's tributaries in Wyoming all from snowpack in the Rocky mountains.
According to the Colorado Climate Center, Colorado endured five significant dry periods prior to the twenty-first century: 1893-1905, 1931-1941, 1951-1957, 1963-1965, and 1975-1978. Since the turn of the century, Colorado has experienced several years of severe drought. In fact, 2002, 2012, 2018, and 2020 were some of the driest on record.
What we're going through now is unheard of in historical records. And most unfortunately Arizona Nevada California and all the other states that get Colorado water the legal allocation was made during one of the wettest period in history. Now there's a lot of legal fighting on who's *not going to get water.
I climbed a lot of mountains in Colorado in the 1980s and 1990s. Many of the routes went up glaciers and annual snow fields that never melted. They're all gone now. All of them.
@@fatplumber3887 Dream on. The climate is changing, no question.
Going into deep sand with a 7000 pound truck with low profile tires at night. Genius.
These people that get stuck at Lake Powell need to watch your videos and they would know to stay out of that mess! Good work getting everybody out! And George getting you out too!
Yes but these dried up lake rescues will pay (help) for Matts big wrecker build (one mans misfortune another mans fortune)
@Edwin Schlee They are to busy thinking, 'Nobody's drove this part for 80 years, (or whatever) We're going to be the first ones; to get stuck here since yesterday'... Wah, Waaahh. :D
Nice to see Jamie out and about on the rescues, nice that her and Matt work so well together and get to spend time with each other.
OMG I'm sitting here yelling dont run over the rope .LOL...
Dancing in the Dark
Rescue by moonlight? Never yet have I disliked a MORR video. Thank you all.
Good MORRning everyone!
Morning Johnny boy
So Matt needs a refresher course on the 6 things from Lizzy "the Master".
7:40 'I liked my old one'.. lol.
You had quite the Father’s Day!!! I know you had a good Father’s Day dinner but you sure made a lot of others Father’s Day better by rescuing them! ❤️🐞
Just having an off day there for a moment, weren't ya? Got stuck and then ran over the rope! Just goes to show it can happen to anyone if you aren't careful. The difference between you and your customers in this case is just that you had a friend and the right equipment to self rescue, whereas the ones who call you don't.
Thanks for another fun video. :)
I'm so glad to see Jamie in the videos. Great that she takes a big role in front of the camera as well as bring a great camera person. Yours lucky man Matt
I love that he enunciated "deuce" at the end. I used to be so confused by that song.
Jester--ikr This is honestly the first time I heard it sung with that word.
Tucker shines like a star. ❤
You guys are awesome! Helping people out.... literally. Glad the channel can pay for this service of yours. One hand helps the other. Greetings from an old jarhead in WNC
I love the sound of the Morvair when it's working and under a load. It seems like more customers would be amazed that a corvair, of all things, just pulled their heavy vehicle out of whatever trouble they have gotten into with no problems. Busy day and a good one since you didn't run out of gas or burn yourself.
Most customers have no idea what body that is let alone that it is...from 1962!
Had to rewind to 7:13 about a dozen times just to listen to the Morvair clear it’s throat… Choir of angels right there! 😆
Tks, Matt!
Jaime encouraging you saying almost there almost there is a very wifely thing to do and was heartwarming to hear - she’s an amazing woman and she shows to everyone how great of a guy you are - great couple, great channel. I always love watching you and your team keep it up!
the title looks like something you'd see on one of them scuba channels, but thanks to you i know that even when the surface is dry there is still a perceivable water level underneath
what great rescues! Not ragging on the Lake Powell customer but going that close to the water is really deceiving with the soft underside of the dry cover. Lots of driving for you guys and such awesome footage.
Hahaha Jaime with the "mom snaps" when Matt was running over the rope was awesome! I don't know why, but it made me giggle like a school kid. Much love fun friends!
Don't do as I do, but do as I say.
Snafus prove, Matt's only human.
You guys need to do a dudes calendar for a non profit sale. You guys would rock it! Maybe a collaboration with fabs and rory? I bet that would sell like hot cakes! Love how you guys use your social media to better the community. I’d pay at least 13.99 with a center fold of Trevor! Props to you guys for being good people.
Gotta get Big Dinner in on that too!
Girls might like a Tucker centerfold too!
I have an off-road toy that I play with. 96 Tahoe 2 door. That’s what it’s for, play time. I never off road in my daily driver so I’m not stranded. And I sure as heck wouldn’t take a heavy a$$ diesel out in the mud either. Too expensive to be breaking crap.
Lol when you ran over the rope Matt😁
Thanks MORR 😎
I learned something. "Like a DUECE another runner in the night." That makes so much more sense than what I thought they sang.
Just want to say l really appreciate the hard work the MORR team does to get these videos out so often and with such consistent quality. I think I’ve seen all the videos and liked them all. Great work!
I never get tired of seeing the Morrvair (& Crew) pulling vehicles out of trouble!! 💪😎
the AMERICAN DREAM IS NEVER DEAD, hard work, freedom, and good company is all we need ✌️🇺🇲
I love watching you all together it seems like the longer you go the more fun you have. I really enjoy when I watch you guys I get to put my life on hold which is also a good thing. Matt it blew me away you of all people running over a rope. You are human a very funny human thank you Matt
Matt ran over George’s Matt Recovery Rope then replaced it. Good man! Broke his own rule but fixed his mistake. George really seemed attached to his own rope. Totally understands nostalgic value.
How much do you want to bet Matt let him keep the old rope and just gave him a new one?
after a long 14 hr day bartending I get home and see a new video from you guys. knowing ive watched till 4 am last night im like nah too much "Matts off road recovery.. ill pass for today".. inevitably though after being bored of other videos/channels I will open up the video and im ALWAYS like dang this really is riveting and never a disappointment, love you guys.
I agree. Watching MORR videos is like visual crack. You think you can quit at any time, and then BAM, there's another video to watch. It's gotten so bad for me I'm starting to re-watch videos I've already seen. And they're still very entertaining!
Great rescue video Matt, Jamie and George. You’ve helped 8-9 people and always with a smile. Always Love watching your videos. Keep on Keepin On! On to the next🤙😎

Love you guys! Just binge watched loads this week, whilst recovering from Covid - appreciate you and enjoyed every episode here in the UK. Much Love!
Glad to see the dynamic duo of Matt and Jaymie getting work done and helping people out!
George should make a shirt that say "I recovered Matt off road recovery"
Sounded like Jamie was about to fire you right on the spot Matt lol 😂
That Morrvair just looks and sounds so fantastic, never get tired of watching it. Another great video, thanks from New Zealand.
"I like my old one" George, you're a hoot, keep smilin'!
The last one was really buried in there, very impressive how easily it came out!👍
Matt I think you got the lighting on the morvair just about right. Makes recoveries at night better I bet. Thanks for sharing.
Nice to see the Morvair out at night lit up like a Christmas tree!! Dig the illuminated under arches.
That was a fantastic job of yelling stop. Not just standing back and doing nothing!
God I get happy every time I get the notification saying there’s another Video
I have noticed in a lot of videos that ppl aren't steering wheel aware when you pull them out. Their tires are pointed in the other direction from where you're pulling them.
A lot of these people have no business being where they are and natural selection would have thinned them out. Dysgenics is a real thing.
I live in Indiana and I miss the heck out of Utah. Love you guys. Your long work days of doing what you love are an inspiration. Many thumbs up!!!
Yall have a Awesome channel been watching a long time..your blessed to have family all working together on your recoverings and in your shop. Thanks for sharing.
The day MATT ran over [A Friend's] rope... Yea, esp when always telling everybody "Not to run over the rope." Good one Matt!!
rip it to him!!! I'm sure his team agrees on that vote 🤣🤣🤣
I absolutely LOVE watching the Morrvair work--- can't wait to see "THE BEAST " when you get it running and working.. :)
I've had days like this. I usualy just go back to sleep and try again later.
It's amazing Yous locate the people out in the middle of no where, good on you guys nice one.
11:18 those reverse flood lights on the Morvair are no joke...
Dang, I have never seen Lake Powell so low. I use to cruise around Lone Rock and Gun Sight with my boat. Don't think I would not attempt that now. I have already thrashed one out board engine in the river around the dam hitting a sand bar. Don't ever want to do that again. Looks like Matt is going to be busy this summer with all the off roaders getting stuck and the tourist that think their rental cars are indestructible and can go anywhere.
Don't know tourism should be down price of fuel price of air travel rental vehicles ,but average American will go into debt to have a little fun!!!
@@stevedibiase728 With the flooding and road damage to Yellowstone and Southern Utah with two major National parks near them and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona nearby. I think tourism will be pretty good this year even with the high fuel costs. Coming from Interstate 15 you have to go through Hurricane to get to any of those National parks. That is the reason I think Matt will be very busy... Also Mesquite Nevada is only a couple hours away and Las Vegas is only a few hours away. You can do pretty much 75 mph on the 15 except for the Virgin River Gorge which is about 30 miles long. I use to go to Vegas from basically Kanab Utah about one a month and it only took 4 hours to get there. Everything else like Bryce, Cedar Breaks, Zion, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon was at most a couple hours away.
That day was actually like a work day, it started tough and just stayed that way. Driving all over tarnation to save the day.
But that's the way it goes sometimes. Thanks for sharing the adventures with us flatlanders.
God Bless you for all you and your team do... As an avid backpacker and back-countryman its nice to know there are people like you out there saving those in need... 🙏
PS. Although some of these people's driving decisions baffle me...
matt and Jamie and crew and fab rat crew you all are so awesome and very helpful to people...thanks for all your posts and the positive feedback you give people...how much is one of those ropes???
Around 250 if i remember well
Damn, you guys have a really bad drought over there. I wish you guys would get the amount of rain we got in south east Queensland Australia we needed it but not so much of it We need to share!
30 years of not enough rain, pumping too much ground water, and poor water management practices. To put it another way, they need 20 feet of rain just to get out of danger, and another 20 to get back to what it used to be. Now imagine the first 20 feet fell over a year, that's close to 2 feet a month (rainforests don't get that much). Utah needs to stop developing along with the rest of the West/Southwest.
Matt your experience on recoveries is a great thing and I love the fact the whole family is involved. I hope to one day meet all of you. Keep up the great work
I like that you explain what you are doing and why. Thanks.
Great job making a mortal sin Matt.....goes to show you....even the pros run over the rope....AFTER Jamie screamin....STOP STOP !!!!....impressive job swingin that cam Jamie !.... your lots easier on the eyes than Trevor...and you don't fall down.....lol
Looks like the morvair is lit up everywhere, even underneath. It would be interesting to see just a show and tell about the lights on that thing.
I love that your wife enjoys working with you and gets in and works 💪. She is a keeper ❤️
TY for not saying 'douche' for Manfred Mann ^^
Do you ever get nervous doing anything in reverse? I was always told that it can wreck the ring and pinion a lot easier that way. No judgement! Love the channel.
Awesome looking rock lights. Where'd you get them? So much light under the Morvair it looks like more than four!
Since Tucker does the editing, he always shows himself in a good light. Often resulting in blinding himself somehow.
Morr Great Recoveries ! Looked like the Lake Powell Pick up was Center Hung ! Thanks for Sharing !
that's hilarious!! it's alright Matt we're human lol you're still awesome brother👍
What’s with the “digging in”? Are wheel chocks like tire chains in UT? Nonexistent?
Love you guys.
I'd guess the size of his wheels and the force of the pull would crush/Bury any wheel chocks if you see anytime people try to put wood etc under there wheels in the loose sand they just get buried
Why carry extra gear when you don't need to?
I very much enjoy watching your channel, I've noticed that 90% of the people that you rescue, their vehicles aren't prepared for any off-roading whatsoever, thanks to them, it keeps you guys very busy.
When you build a man-made lake in the middle of a desert, you might have some dry spells
from time to time. -- But you will absolutely have some stuck vehicles. --- Thanks for the fun upload.
It's okay Matt everybody breaks their number one rule sometimes 👍😂
Yay, Gunlock is one of our favorite places to go! What happened to not letting the customer drive as they are getting recovered? I thought insurance said it had to be a team member? 🤔
Wondering that myself!
Yes seems like that's generally a way to have better control of the situation when possible, but not actually a requirement. He never knows what kind of yahoos he's dealing with
Very nice job guys. Keep recovering. Keep towing. Keep making. God bless.
Great job as always! Watching you just reminds me good people are still out there.
Even i was like a little kid for that moment. I said "OOOOHHHHHH, Matt ran over the rope?!?!?!"
Question Matt, what was the goal in wrapping the recovery rope around the rear axle?
Lower pull angle
last time he did this to prevent ripping up the bumber of a car, or maybe to not damage the point furter where he ran over it.
Having the rope higher could've had a tricky effect of pulling the Morrvair into the ground, breaking the tires through the crust of the lakebed and into the mud.
Lower pull angle/because he can.
Work smarter not harder!!
Smiles for miles.. Great video thanks for sharing.!

I wonder of all these were running 32psi? Do that and just PLAN on getting stuck..... Great to watch as always.
What prompted you to start using ramps to load/unload the Morrvare?
Was wondering the same thing. Seemed to be working pretty slick without them cuz of those big tires...

The trailer had springs before...so the arse end of the trailer autmatically lowered as the Morrvair got off or got on the trailer.
Now with no suspension...it's higher step both ways....
@@JohnSmith-yv6eq I think you're thinking of the offroad recovery trailer - he hard mounted the axles on that one. This is the bigger flatbed. You can see the suspension squatting around the 2:38 mark when they're unloading.
So I visited that area many years ago, scariest place I've ever been. I was just walking though the desert minding my own business when a big anvil almost landed on me, then later a big safe landed on my wife, she was ok though, just opened the door and she walked out. then I saw a sign that said "free lunch" so I picked up the sandwich and an arrow goes flying past my head. I figure I need to get out of there so I jump in the care and try to drive away but the tunnel going though the mountain had just been painted on by jokester and I crash into it. no wonder people get stuck out there, they are running for their lives.
