How much is the last one?
When you're too broke, that even 20$ isn't cheap for you 💀
i mean me too but it's for 2 months so /2 for spending that month i guess
@@toniok.4726 well if it goes on for 2 months I think that isn't bad. But hopefully I'll get a job soon, so I could buy mlre skin care
$20 isn’t too bad, it’s skincare for fun not life saving meds. There’s always cheaper options like The Ordinary.
@@mattier.9095 well, dollar is pretty srrong in my country. So considring that it's expensive for me.
C’mon you probably spend more than that on a round of drinks or eating out
I love the short video that gets to the point and speaks honestly. Thank you. ❤
I use the Naturium one….LOVE it. Absorbs quickly..can use alone or under makeup. 10/10 for me.
Is it available at Walmart?
@@sammiyen not sure. I get mine at Target.
@@KristinaNaaa thanks so much!!!
It’s totally useless
Ok so I went with his recommendation and got the Naturium Vit C Serum from Target. I just wanted to update anyone here who was like me looking for someone to tell me what to buy. This is my first time using vitamin C. MY STUBBORN HYPERPIGMENTATION IS BARELY NOTICEABLE AFTER TWO USES. My skin tone is also overall more even and brighter. My boyfriend even said “you’re glowing” to me on video call. I wish I had added this to my regimen sooner. I like that the bottle is basically air tight with a pump so you don’t have to worry about the air chemically altering the vitamin C.
Thank you for this bc I didn’t know where to find the product. Hopefully my Target carries it
Gratitude 😂😂for this, your so dedicated to our cause for beauty techniques that work. ❤
Not all heroes wear capes. 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Thank you for informing us! 😊Also, what’s your skin type?
you are a saint!
CeraVe has raised the cost of ALL their products. it’s actually ridiculous and disturbing
Increased demand
It's not really that surprising....Inflation is killing everything nowadays, ESPECIALLY here in California, living has become so much more difficult
seriously! ive had great results from walgreens/cvs brand knock off cera ve products! affordable with same ingredients!!

@@Rainy-Coffeei gonto the grocery to look.
The Cerave is the first Vitamin C I have been able to use and have no irritation. Thanks for the recommendation!
Always get vitamin C in an airless pump. Less oxidation & longer shelf life
Which one do you use
I just bought vanicream vitamin c. I tried cerave and paula's choice. both oxidized so fast@@amyrie1991
I read the reviews on Amazon. The product still oxidizes real fast@@curlyandstrong6798
Lab Muffin made a video that debunked this and showed that most airless pumps are not isolated from the outside air like the name suggests. That's why chemists in labs just use plain old screw tops to store their ingredients
Any vitamin C oxidizes with light exposure and air exposure. Best dispensing is to be in a pump bottle with complete light blocking bottle. The Naturium will be much more stable than the LaRoche Posay one that he loves. I do love LaRoche Posay moisturizers and sunscreens as well as Vichy products. My go to is Cerave, Cetaphil, or Neutrogena.
What if I accidentally opened my bottle for 10 seconds and air exposure happened?
Not true. THD Ascorbate is a stable vitamin C, which does not oxidize like L-ascorbic acid does. I use Sunday Riley CEO rich hydration cream, which is in a jar, and it's never turned brown. I've had it for 9 months, I expose it to light and air daily with no issues. It's a little pricier at $65, but it's lasted a lot longer than Roc vitamin C I tried to save a few bucks and despised.
A lot of seems I follow say they only fully trust L-ascorbic acid for benefits because it’s the only one that has been fully researched and shown in studies to have all the amazing benefits that someone would want from a vit c serum. If I’m going to include this step than I want to make sure it going to work and be the fastest at giving results so I stick with the ones that have l ascorbic acid and include ferulic in it and vit e because they are said to make it most stable and improve absorbency when paired with vit c. I also seen videos where peneogyl (I know I’m butchering the name but the ordinary sells a small bottle of it) applied with vit c can actually keep it from oxidizing and usually vit c alone will only absorb or prevent so many free radicals but the penogyl actually somehow reboots the vit c to continue to work over and over and over again. I’m not explaining it the best so I would recommend people look up “benefits of penogyle serum with vit c
@@SavedByJesus-pi3yuso which one do you use?
After cleansing my face every morning, I use litelextra rice berry Vit C face serum. My feedback after three months of use:
1. Non greasy
2. lightweight consistency
3. easy to blend
4. top-quality
5. noticed a glow after just one month
I highly recommend it.
Also, I do apply retinol at night.
I know that the riceberry vitamin c face serum is praised for its non-greasy formula that brightens skin and diminishes dark spots. From what I know, it contains ethyl ascorbic acid for optimal stability and effectiveness, making it appropriate for all skin types. I have been told by many about the noticeable improvements in skin texture. Will try it soon.
We appreciate you for sharing this with us❤️😍
When it comes to my dull skin, the only things that worked were the riceberry face serum and sunscreen by littleextrrea. They are extremely hydrating. They make my face skin hydrated, and with regular use, you can see the difference yourself. They leave my skin with a healthy glow and are so lightweight that they get easily absorbed, giving nice results. Their texture is not oily at all and works well with my skin. Vitamin C in it helps reduce face dullness, and niacinamide helped fade my dark spots. Overall, I would rate them 9 out of 10 after using them for 2 months.
In just a week, I achieved good results with riceberry face serum, ma'am.
the chef's kiss at the end 😂
thanks for the reccs doc!
Thank you!!😎🤙🙏
Your short videos are the best! Thank you 😊
I can't imagine not liking Cerave's Vit C texture. It' so nice!
I use the Cerave, and although I hate the consistency, it works well on my skin. I’ve been using it 3 weeks and it has brightened up my face overall so far.
naturium is killing it. also love their peptide serum
Thank you for your intelligent, humorous, and sincere advice. I love the Naturium Vitamin C. I decided to try Prequels Vitamin C. I have been using it for rough 5 weeks, and it has made a big difference in tone and texture.
That’s great to hear! I need to try that brand still. And thank you for the comment- appreciate you!!🙏
I replaced the ridiculously priced Skinceuticals vitamin C with the Timeless vitamin C 20% (they also have 20%) and loooove it. Timeless isn't in dropper form (like the pricey Skinceuticals and so many other brands) but rather comes in a pump which I like soooo much better and definitely helps to prevent all the oxidation that typically occurs with the dropper varieties (always exposing to air)... and it's almost always UNDER $20 with the many sales and discounts they offer.
Naturium here, i've been loving it!
How do you apply this Naturium Vitamin C serum, please? Do you apply this first, then moisturize, then add sunscreen on top or how?
That Vichy one is legit!
I just picked up the Naturium Vit C Complex, mainly because it's in a pump so it's not exposed to the air but also because of the different forms of Vit c
The Naturium vit C gave me awful cystic ance, i havent had a breakout in years. i read reviews afterward online and the same thing happened to others. It contains a comodegenic ingredient- algin.
What about Timeless Vitamin C 20 percent? I love it!
Unfortunately, neither Cerave nor La Roche Posay are cruelty-free. Paula’s Choice is and Naturium are cruelty-free; there’s more brands that I cannot remember at this moment.
Paula’s choice is expensive
There are many vitamins C serum’s that actually stay on your skin and help with your skin appearance
Melano CC Premium Essence with their far from premium price-tag is the go to for me. Works really well and are told to sold a tube every few seconds in Japan is 🤯
Bubble vitamin C serum is the only one that I can see visible results with. I’ve tried a lot, including the cerave & I didn’t see any results until
I used the bubble brand at Walmart. It has helped my hyperpigmentation a lot
Thank You

I love the naturium vitamin c serum, a little pricy for me but it’s worth it ❤
Im in the uk and use ‘simple’ vit c. Its really cheap and has a lovely texture.
What do you mean exactly: ascorbic acid?
Does anyone know the percentage of vitamin C in the Naturium? I can’t find the information anywhere, even on the company’s own website. Lots of hype but scant real info.
Following
It’s very low. I’ve used 3 bottles. It has done nothing
I just bought the Naturium Vitamin C and so far no irritation, which is a plus. Watched Dr. Drays review on this and she didn’t have any good things to say about it lol. But I’m gonna give it a chance. Anyone else have good results with this brand?
I’ve used 3 bottles and it has done nothing
The Cerave and the La Roche Posay have denatured alcohol which makes them oxidize in like a month + makes your skin dryer and more irritated so...
The Vichy one he likes best is less than 1 ounce tiny bottle for about $40😮
Timeless skincare has a vitamin c that is in an airtight bottle. I buy the 4 oz when it goes on sale for 50% off…Usually Mother’s Day, Black Friday and a few other days out of the year. I store mine in my frig. It will last me 6 month and has never oxidized. It is 10% so it may take getting used to.
I have been using the 20% from Timeless and it is the best ever! 10/10😊
Was it irritating on first tine use?
PLUS.....ITS ONE OF THE FEW VIT C'S THAT IS CORRECT PH BALANCED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DON'T YOU TALK EFFICACY OF VIT C'S WORKING? THESE DRUGSTORE PRODUCTS DON'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Watch for Ulta’s sales, you ca buy them there and when they’re on sale, cheaper than drugstore prices!
Im using the Cerave vitamin C and its working for me.
My 1st thought was I bought the vitamin C by Carave because it was one of your picks in a previous video!🤙
Second: Holy 💩, a Chef's Kiss, this product must be SOMETHIN😯........
WOW😮, I don't think I've ever seen you give a Chef's Kiss??🤔💜
*misspelling
I love the No 7 vitamin C serum. Less than $20 and it goes on so smooth and soaks into my skin, never leaving a film or gooey stuff behind. My skin has improved in the feel and texture after using it. Sorry but I'm sold on it.
Does it help with dark spots?
@@enieji9927 I have not found anything that helps dark spots. I'm using Meaningful Beauty for dark spots right now but it hasn't done anything either. I'm beginning to think there is no hope for those devils. 😆
How do you know if the vitamin c serum oxidizes quick? Would be a great video to inform about 🙏🏼
It changes color when oxidation takes place
It becomes yellow
He has Videos where he shows it and gives examples
Yay...the Naturium is the one I bought....love it ❤❤❤❤ ty DS
So… we do not need ferrulic vitamin c?
The more we like and comment does it help this page get further I think everybody should say something, even just a thumbs up my help?
I liked the Cerave except for the oxidation. No matter what I did, the product that was "next" to be squeezed out each day had turned into a brown blob in the time since the previous application. I had to dispose of it (i.e., waste it) to get to the non-oxidized product behind it. Not good. Not only does the Naturium have more and better ingredients for the same price, it's also cruelty-free, which Cerave can't touch.
Make sure you are using the tiny pointed tip, and not the regular opening on the Cerave. Mine never oxidizes and does not come out in a blob.
Doc, I hope u talk about scar, also how it will fade or lost. Thank u
Wish we could get Vichy in Australia! 😩
You can make your own vitamin c serum for pennies on the dollar
how? recipe pls @@paulbrothers4495
I like ethylated ascorbic acid, as it's effective without irritating my super sensitive skin. I've been using the one by The Ordinary, but am looking for a cruelty free replacement now that they're owned by Estee Lauder. Definitely sticking with the ethylated form, though.
Are these pregnancy safe? Thanks
Can you just put juice from an orange on your face??
What's your reason for the last one being near perfect? Doesn't its bottle also make it oxidize fast? Is there a longer video where you provide explanations?
Good question.
So glad you are
can we have a part 2 please ? what do you think about the vitamin c of Garnier or L’oréal?
You don't mention the pH which is very important. As far as I've learned the cerave has too high pH which makes it totally ineffective. How come a dermatologist does not know this?
love your channel Doc 🍊
I tried the Cerave and Naturium. The Cerave worked really well but packaging is so much worse since they changed it. The Naturium one irritates my skin. I am currently looking for a new Vitamin C serum, if anyone has any recommendations- will be highly appreciated.
Make sure that if you have active acne to not use vitamin c. Sadly, not knowing this, I've experienced breakoits after using vitamin c. Once all of your pinples, visible acne is gone (bumps/texturized on your face) you can use these.
Have you tried niacinamide?
But the vitchy's vitamin c serum is for 65 CAD
Please review the geek and gorgeous c glow serum!
You can make your own for about a 25cents for 3 oz.
How??
@@CausaNostraLaetitiae one more thing ,once you get a little practice in mixing it smooth you can put it in your favorite moisturizer as well.
@@CausaNostraLaetitiae one more thing again.. in the video she adds vitamin e oil. That's optional .Although it has great... I can't because my skin is oily to begin with.. so I leave out. She also mentions that you can go online and buy ascorbic acid and says Don't buy that kind because it's food-grade and not topical. The only difference between topical and food grade is how much they grind it. I've tried the ascorbic acid that she uses. It's a company called the ordinary and I must admit it's very very fine powder so it does dissolve very well. That's why I use a spice grinder and you end up with the same thing. She also adds some acid in it and that's not necessary.
But if you want to use both those things feel free because they're dirt cheap.
This is the ascorbic acid I bought and use. This won't last you a good 5 years.
The good thing about this is you can actually put it in your favorite drink.
And get the benefits of vitamin c in your body as well. All you need is a quarter teaspoon . It's very tart..D like the tartest candy you've ever. But it's good for you. I put it in my lemonade or just water.
Cetaphil dropped a vitamin c serum . I love it - sensitive skin
Thank you ❤😊🙏🏻💕😍
Bruh I always forget that IASIP uses royalty free music until it randomly appears in a RUclips video💀
What about TIMELESS?
Isn't glutathione harmful?
What would make the Vichy a full 10/10? Where did she lose points?
The Naturium one gave me perioral dermatitis - presented as small bumps and pustules around my nose. In case anyone is struggling with this and don’t know what it could be
Thanks, Doc.

Yes it does that's why I make my own.
@@paulbrothers4495 please tell me how do you make your vitamin c?
I found that the Cerave did NOT oxidize for many months when the narrow tip is put on correctly. I have seen some RUclipsrs demonstrate how it oxidizes but they are not using the narrow tip.
How is it that you love the Vichy product while it has the same package you criticized the la roche posay for? And no mention of the bad package in the Vichy either...🤔
I’ve been using the Cera ve one for about a month now. I don’t have very sensitive skin but for some reason this irritates the hell out of my skin. I only use it in the morning and only use gentle cleansers.
I love the consistency of the product tho, it’s super lightweight and works! Aside from the redness I get from it, but it subsides about 30 minutes later. Maybe I have more sensitive skin than I thought?
Can I use this between my laser treatments?
Is there an affordable eye moisturizer with sunscreen? I am 65 and the crows feet and wrinkles under my eyes need it. Regular daily moisturizers with sunscreen make my eyes burn
Is retinol really good for the skin or over hyped?

Should vitamin c be applied during the morning or night?
Also, is the Netrogena vitamin c capsules any good?
