Y’all, she gives us a video every single day for FREE. Visiting a dermatologist is not cheap. Her doing collabs keeps her content free for all of us. If you’re that bothered, watch someone else.
I’ve been binge watching her videos and I’m totally thankful for her! It costs me 60 bucks to go to my dermatologist! Fortunately I have one that will message with me when I need her! Thanks Dr. Dray
I love her info too but it's important to see your dermatologist yearly. Watching her helps us understand but doesn't answer our questions or examine our skin. I have a list of questions for my July visit with my derm because of watching her.
I've been using this vitamin C face serum by riceberry littleextra for a few months now, and I'm really impressed with the outcomes. It's become an essential part of my everyday skincare routine. Over time, the serum has noticeably reduced the size of my pores and diminished dark spots. It's great for my sensitive skin. One of the best things about this serum is its lightweight, non-greasy texture. It absorbs quickly, making my skin feel refreshed without any oily residue. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants a brighter, more even complexion, especially with the benefits of black rice water. This serum is gentle enough even for sensitive skin. After applying the face serum, I follow up with riceberry sunscreen, which contains niacinamide and kojic acid, These have helped me additionally reduce dark spots. Also, practicing yoga daily helps keep up my skin's elasticity.
This riceberry serum has the real goodness of Vitamin C. It easily gets absorbed by the skin and is not at all greasy. My skin feels rejuvenated after applying this serum. I use it twice daily for that additional radiance and freshness.
When I was using the Timeless I had two deeper fine lines disappear. I stopped for three months and they came back. Used it again and they went away. I hope my experience helps for anyone who is in the market for this cheaper product.
Aging is all about preventing. So you need to continue using it. Ppl always want to find a product make all their wrinkles disappear and they will not need to use it after? It’s lifetime invest so.
As someone who is not paying for the Skinceuticals Vitamin C, I have been using the Timeless for over a year now after trying a lot of Vitamin C serums prior to that. For my sensitive dry skin, the Timeless has been amazing and I noticed a difference in my skin after using the Timeless over time.
I used Geek & Gorgeous for about a year and also noticed results but when I stopped using it. Because my forehead started to look darker without it. Haven't been using it recently though and they did tweak the formula slightly, since they had to remove ethoxydiglycol - the solvent used in CE Ferulic. The problem with ethoxydiglycol is EU regulations limit the % that you are allowed to use of it in products and it is above vitamin C in the CE Ferulic so that is a massive amount
I’ve used both Timeless and Skinceuticals. I had great experiences using both products honestly. I’d absolutely love to have your opinion of the Timeless CoQ10. I use that product as my PM antioxidant before my Tretinoin. I really enjoy it. Thanks again for all the work you put into these videos. In addition I’d like to add; we want a Dr. Drey skincare line. This may never happen but I’m trying to speak it into existence. Lol. Can’t blame a guy for trying. Have a blessed week.
@@rickyhogan3761 you should give it a shot since youve used other vitamin Cs. It’s mixed with other antioxidants plus it’s ethylated form you wont be problematic of stability I think its fairly cheap comparing to SkinCeuticals and just a little higher than timeless.
Don't know about collagen but timeless vitamin C totally got rid of small age spots on my face and hands. Skinceuticals is just not in the budget and never tried it.
Yeah--it's amazing that one company can make it (and, in fact, almost all other companies) for a fraction of the price. Are cosmetics like drug companies with their Patents in that they expire after a certain amount of time? If so, I would think skinceuticals would lower their price and get a loyal following so that when the patent expires, people won't be fleeing to lower priced brands. But, maybe they don't expire as quickly as medicines.
I wish more skincare brands would implement airless pumps. They're so handy and you use up every every last bit of product. Way easier than cutting open bottles and scraping at all the excess product on the sides of bottles/tubes.
I agree. I seem to remember that Paula Begoun wrote (many years ago) that all products should come in either pumps or tubes...and yet we still have pots and droppers!
I used Timeless vit c and decided to wait to repurchase to see what my skin did without it. I wasn't paying close attention when I started. Anyways, I developed significant freckles along my hairline, I was using plenty of SPF but at the time it was the Purito and Krave sunscreens 🙃 After a few months without it and plenty freckled, I reordered the timeless. In 5 days 90% of the freckles were gone. It was shocking and impressive. Timeless is a great vitamin C option, I recommend it to anyone. And if you have sensitive skin, their 10% vit c version is the way to go!
@@celestinetoussaint6350 sorry I can't tell your tone, if you're musing or snarking. But it absolutely did. I understand not all kinds of sun damage will disappear in a week of product use, but several months of newly developed freckles which were from intense UV index sun exposure indeed faded in a week. If anything it's a testament to their more effective freshly produced L-ascorbic acid. Having the strongest form of vit c and lack of oxidation in that particular product makes a huge difference. It's also quite a high percentage. Where I lived at the time, in a high altitude desert, the UV index was 11 daily, with rarely even a cloud in the sky, and I can't understate how intense it was. Where I live now gets about half that UV index even at full sun. Sun damage appeared much more quickly there than I've ever experienced and I'm thankful a product was able to significantly reel it back, so I shared my experience here.
@@paigeme886 I used the 20% and have since I first tried it. The 10% wasn't available when I first started. If you have sensitive skin I'd recommend the 10%, if your skin is a bit more resilient you'd be fine with the 20%. It's a great value. And a side note, if you use snail mucin, this applies and sinks in beautifully when mixed with snail mucin. Timeless vit c serum is more watery, so I preferred mixing with another thicker product to spread it around more easily, but it's not necessary.
I've been using Timeless Vit C. serum every morning for 7 years. I'm am very pleased with the results on my very mature face. I keep my in the fridge, and always use it up before it goes bad. Thankfully, I've always slept on my back. Blessings..MaryEllen
@@aivela7e use vitamin c in the morning, retinol at night! that way you can get the antioxidant benefits from vitamin c as well, which will be helpful during the day. so you can actually use both vitamin c and retinol daily!
The thing that impressed me about Timeless is that it is sealed until you pump it out which means it stays stable longer. I didn’t know however that the best way to apply is over damp skin. I had heard that it was great to use under sunscreen, which I do everyday no matter if I am leaving the house or not. I have the pillow and I love it! Thanks 😊
I can’t be without it now and have used a year and a half. Sorry you find it to be uncomfortable. It takes a little adjusting to, but I realize everyone will feel differently about it.
I've used several Vitamin C serums and always come back to Timeless. It's lightweight, effective and doesn't oxidize. Dr. Dray, I would love to see you review Timeless CoQ10, and compare their Matrixyl 3000 and Matrixyl Synth 6. Thank you!
I have been using timeless for about 5 years, I love it! I've used Skinceuticals for about three years prior to timeless. I've seen no difference, the results have maintained through the years. I do exactly as Dr. Dray mentioned right after washing face on damp skin allow it to dry and then apply the rest.
I use the CoQ10 and would love to hear a Dr. Dray review. I’m curious if I should have this in my routine. I don’t remember why I started to use - but I do!
I use both Matrixyl Synthe 6 (used both AM & PM) and Coenzyme Q10 (used in AM) and I see good results. I would be intrested to watch a review on both other Timeless items. Have a great week.
that is what I plan to do. I have used skinceuticals serums for the past 2 years and I "guess" its working. For the price I want to incorporate Timeless and alternate between the 2
Timeless Vit C is my holy grail I’ve been using each morning for over a year! I love the product, price and what it has done to my skin! Can’t imagine my routine without it
C e ferulic was life-changing… buttt i payed for it once, never again - too expensive. Have used timeless for over a year and it works extremely well for me.
I saw a more drastic change with CE ferulic, but it was the first Vit C i ever used. Used it for 3-4 months and timeless has done just as well in terms of brightening & reducing hyperpigmentation. Unfortunately I can’t compare how theyd be at long term collagen production because thatd be near impossible, but they perform similarly overall
I have dry skin and found it too oily I looked sweaty and everything stuck to my face at work, dust. Was my bottle bad or is it supposed to be like cooking oil?
@@joanbaczek2575 timeless or skinceuticals? The timeless feels like straight-up water, so doesnt make much sense if thats what you’re describing. The c e ferulic is a bit more of a hybrid (oil/water) texture-wise but its still pretty light. Neither was too oily IMO, especially the timeless since it just feels like water
I love my Skinceuticals, I have tried the Timeless, but for me was not the same...my cousin on the other hand loves it and her skin is amazing. Only wish the Skinceuticals was not so expensive!
DRMTLGY has a vitamin c serum that is supposed to be a closer dupe to Skinceuticals. I’m going to try that next once I use up my current Skinceuticals bottle.
I bought the pillows but returned. The idea is great, but the design does not work well for me since it is hard for me to fit in the groove every time I turn over and make me sleep worse. My husband also tried it for two nights, and he has the same feedback, so we paid $25 for the shipping fee and returned them.
I bought it and used it for 6 months and it caused me muscle contractures to the point that I could not move my arm. I’ve been going to physio and having deep tissue massages every week. I just went for 2 weeks on a vacation and did not have the pillow and the aches and pains stopped. That is when I knew the pillow was the cause. Now I cannot get my money back and I’ve invested a lot in procedures too. This is NOT for everyone!!!
@@lex_i5039 exactly! I had the same issue with “my pillow” luckily Walmart let me exchange it for anything else in the as seen on tv department, I had no receipt and returned it after a month
I started using the Timeless vitamin C serum 2 weeks ago and today after washing my face i noticed that my skin is super soft, dewey, And has a glow it has never had before. Loving this product!
Problem with the SkinCeuticals is that it comes in a jar, and that reduces the time shelf of the product. However, the Timeless comes in a pump and in a dark jar.
Dr. Dray, claiming a $175 pillow is going to do more for your skin than a Vitamin C serum is not “evidence-based” either. The timeless serum has made a quick difference when I’ve used it! Let’s see a 90 day study comparing this pillow to the serum 😆
I use timeless too recommended by Angie hot n flashy RUclips channel This is ridiculous saying I don’t bother with vit c I have a great pillow 🙄 .. dr dray just go to angies channel 😩
I've used the Timeless 20% Vitamin C for several years. I have mature, acne prone, sensitive skin, and I've not experienced any irritation. I'd like to hear your thoughts on their CoQ10 serum and topical vs. oral CoQ10 for the skin.
I’ve been using the Timeless C for 5 years and really like it. Three years ago I added the Timeless CoQ10 to my AM routine, along with the Timeless Matrixyl Synthe 6 to PM routine and have experienced slight additional improvements in skin texture, pore reduction and wrinkle reduction. I cannot tolerate Retinoic Acid (Retin-A, Tretinoin), but have had good results with AveneAL 1% which is a Retinaldehyde. Adding the aforementioned products has provided me a little extra “boost” of improved results.
I’ve been waiting for your thoughts on this! Been using Timeless every morning for about 2 years- I love it! So much improvement for my sun damaged skin. I can’t go without it 💛
I bought the SLEEP AND GLOW PILLOW. Hated it. It was very uncomfortable, had a horrible smell and yes I had to returned it at my cost. This was a horrible purchase.
Loved this review and your perspective as a dermatologist. I've only used Skinceuticals and have wondered if I'm overpaying. I now feel confident that this is a case of "you get what you pay for" and the devil is in the details as you said. Thanks Dr. Dray!
I have used both Skin Ceuticals and Timeless. Actually used Skin Ceuticals for 20 years...switched to Timeless due to cost. I have sun damage on chest. Used both but found Skin Ceuticals is better product. I saw a difference in 4 weeks. Did not get results from Timeless. My opinion is Skin Ceuticals is top!! Timeless is good but if you need real reversal of sun damage use Skin Ceuticals.
Opf! Just realized I misread (then stupidly commented on) the commenter whom I THOUGHT said she used Timeless for 20yrs), but NO that's not what she said. She used Skinceuticles for 20 yrs, NOT timeless.... then switched to Timeless to save $$ after using Skinceuticles for 20 yrs. Derp🥴
I've used this product at 20% since April, and I have no complaints. It doesn't irritate my skin; a little goes a long way. I believe that it has helped improve my complexion along with other steps in my skincare routine.
I’ve been using the Timeless vitamin C serum since 2014. The fact that it’s affordable and doesn’t irritate my skin has helped me keep up the habit of using it every day. I just started using their Matrixyl Synthe 6 serum after they had a sale recently, and would love your input on it!
Timless 20% vitamin C serum was the best I’ve tried. It did not irritate, sting or brake me out and it did smooth and brighten my skin and really toned down my sun damage. My skin was glowing with this product, I love it, it is the best in my opinion! ✨
Skinceuticals is now as of 9/24 $182. Their patent is to supposed to expire 3/25 and I'm glad to hear it. It's so overpriced and they have been price gouging for years now. Screw them.
I've been using the Timeless vitamin c serum for a few weeks now and I really like it! I remember in one of your videos saying if you wanted to use a vitamin c serum, find one that has ferulic acid in it as it helps stabilize it. I couldn't afford the skinceuticals so I opted for this one, and I'm happy I did!
I've been using it for 2 weeks now and can clearly see that my hyperpigmentation has toned down a little. As for collagen boosts, i'm 19 so that's not what i'm using that product for lmao
I use the timeless 20% vitamin C as well as their coenzyme Q 10 serum under my sunscreen in the morning. I then use the metrrixyl synthe 6 before my tretinoin and hydroquinone cream in the evening. I've been doing this for several years and I'm incredibly pleased with my results. Thank you so much for doing this video!
I use the timeless serum you discuss 2x per day. The skinceuticals one is way too expensive IMO and also I don’t like the dispenser, they should put it in an airless pump for that much $$$.
I have used this product for over two years. I'm 52 and receive many compliments on my skin. Since using this product, I can go without makeup. I could not do this before as I always had terrible rosacea flare-ups. I also use timeless CoQ10 serum and timeless matrixyl 6 synthe serum. I would love to hear your opinion on these! Thx Dr Dray! Another awesome video❤️
I just started using the timeless vitamin c. I have no issues with it but don’t know if I am getting benefits. Before that I used Skin Sceuticals FE & C for years. It was my holy grail along with Retin A. I did see a glow factor with SC so I am going back with it.
I don’t see a difference between the timeless and skinsceuticals, since I really don’t use expensive serums or moisturizers I am going back to skinsceuticals and of course Retin A. These are my two holy grail products.
I’ve been using the Timeless for years and love it.❤️ Also, I’ve been using my sleep and glow for a year and a half. I won’t be without it now. Such a great investment!! 😊
This vitamin C serum is the best I've ever used. I've tried some of the pricier ones and they didn't fade my dark spots like this one did. Timeless is so affordable and often has sales on their website too! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the coQ10 & Matyxl Synthe serums.
CVS has just picked up the Timeless brand! So it’ll be available more locally if you’re American. But the brand itself offers so many sales, so I’m quite curious to see the price comparison.
A review of the L’Oréal 10 percent vitamin c serum would be great! I’ve used it for months and have had great results. It’s also far cheaper than Timeless and more easily available.
Skinmedica vitamin C + E has helped my skin so much. Also, the SLIP silk pillow case.. total game changer! My skincare isn’t absorbed by my pillow case anymore. I saw such a big difference.
I was trying to make this comparison just last week, and ended up buying the L’Oréal 10% vitamin C because I figured it would be backed up by better research on its stability than the timeless. I must say anecdotally I have noticed an improvement in skin softness in less than a week of using it each morning.
I use Timeless Q10 & Matrixyl every day & love it! Can you review those? I can only tolerate Timeless Vit C no more than 3x a week or my skin gets red & raw. I’m gonna try the 10%.
swineinny1 my neck can't tolerate the 20% Timeless so I am going to purchase the 10% for my neck and I'm trying the No 7 stuff that Dr. Dray recommended for my neck but I always have to patch test everything for about 3 days on my inner elbow. On day 3 of the patch test and everything is OK so tomorrow I will try the No 7 stuff (Dr. Dray said it has matrixyl and Retinol) on my neck.
I've been using DRMTLGY Vitamin C E &F Serum, which I read was a dupe for the Skinceuticals... I haven't been using it long enough to truly know how good it is yet. I wonder how it compares...
Rewatching this video. The Timeless has kept irritating my skin so much that is was hard to use with consistency. Just today realized you said to put on damp skin. I then applied lije you said and for the first time no stinging ! So glad I came back to watch again. Maybe now I can use regularly enough to see results! Thanks!
Burning question : water has a pH of around 7. If I apply a serum that has a lower pH on damp skin, and this lower pH is necessary for the active to penetrate my skin, am I not effectively diluting the serum with water and effectively increasing the overall pH of my skin, sabotaging the penetration of the active? I love putting my serums on damp skin, but skinceuticals wants me to put its CE ferulic on dry skin. Having spent so much money on it, last thing I would want is to mess up its application... Really want to understand how this pH bussiness would work.
Wow this is such a good question that I never thought of! I can imagine spending that much you would want to be sure it works to the best of its ability. I read that on many products- like azelaic acid- that say to apply to dry skin & it never crossed my mind from the ph of water! I wonder if spraying an high acidity water on skin would fix this if the ph is the problem
That's why she recommends using a cleanser with an acid *before* application. This effectively lowers the pH of your skin and any residual water just helps with penetration as well 😉 (ref: the "how to use" segment of the video). Hope that helps.
There are several comments about the higher price not being worth it. But let’s at least remember that someone had to do the research and that is an expensive process. We wouldn’t have the less expensive copycat versions without the effort put forth by others. Anyone can read studies and put touted ingredients in a formula but it takes scientists to research the actual effects of any given formula - not what you think it should do but what that particular combination of ingredients does.
I started using Vitamin C today. I chose expensive one. Peptide C by Vichy(10% L-ascorbic acid). I use in the evening. Also using another antioxidant Resveratrol by The ordinary, more 1000 times stable than Vitamin C. But i believe in the vichy technology
Hello I’ve used the TIMELESS 20% VITAMIN C + E FERULIC ACID SERUM for a month now and I really like it. The serum gives me a beautiful glow and I haven’t experience any irritation. I do keep serum in the fridge I hope that’s okay. I really wasn’t sure how to apply the serum so I thank you so much for that amazing tip on the salicylic acid face wash can’t wait to try it!!! I also purchased the COENZYME Q10 SERUM I hope you could review that product soon I’m still a bit uncertain on the application and all the benefits.
I agree! When I started my skincare journey at 53, I used the Timeless CoQ10 along with their B5 and CeraVe PM lotion. Within 2 or 3 months people were asking me what magic I'd done with my rosacea-laden skin..lol.. the change was pretty drastic for me!
I have used the Timeless for several years and was happy with it. With duties and exchange rates, however, it is much more expensive in Canada. I decided to give Skinceuticals a try and my skin was noticeably brighter and clearer than it had been with the Timeless.
Thank you! Skinceuticals is obviously better - they hold a patent on the formula everybody is selling as dupes! And this was a shameless attempt to sell pillows by adding the skinceuticals in the title but not actually trying the product. Timeless is a hit or miss, one week it works, another it doesn't work!
@@klopl100 she has tried skinceuticals in the past actually (for months too), which is why she can compare it. That is, in addition to her experience as a dermatologist. Also nothing wrong with paid ads. I'm happy to listen to them if she's partnered with companies because her videos are genuinely so helpful.
Ok we definetly need a video with alternatives to the Skinceuticals CE Ferulic serum. There's definetly not such thing as a "dupe" but considering how many vitamin C/ascorbic acids serums are out there I think it would be great to review all of them and see how they compare and which ones Dr Dray would actually recommend.
The Timeless vitamin c serum is no longer sold within the EU because of the extremely high concentration of ethoxydiglycol. Maximum is 2,6 %. Any thoughts ?
I’ve been using the Timeless vitamin C serum after she told me to stop using the Mad Hippie one (still half a bottle left so I might just use it, shhh). It’s so funny she describes it as having a bologna smell, which is so accurate. So far I really enjoy the Timeless serum, though it does leave a slight tackiness which goes away after you put on moisturizer and sunscreen.
Been using it for about 8 months and enjoy it. No irritation, and mostly notice skin brightening. I’m also someone who wouldn’t be paying for the $140 version so I’m quite happy w this and am working on incorporating into my fairly new retin a routine.
Dr. Dray, not too long ago, I remember You wouldn't have touched a vitamin -c serum, as I remember you referred to it as "none of that mumbo-jumbo".😉 Now you use toners, serums, essenses, vitamin c serums so you can give us your opininon about them. Dr Dray, I am wondering if you see any positive changes (or negative ones) after using these extra products compared to your prior minimal skincare routines.
I definitely see a difference in Dr. Dray's skin...If you look at her older videos you'll notice the comparison. She's older now but yet her skin looks better and flawless...must be the products...
I love the timeless vitamin c!! I was worried the vitamin E would break out my cystic acne prone skin, but it doesn’t! It’s soothing and absorbs right away.
I have used this product for 2 years now and tried others but always come back to it. Just see the best results and can afford to keep it in my routine.
I've used it, mainly to boost my sunscreen. Would buy again! But now I'll be using Vitamin X for a while instead. Anecdotally, I've only heard good things about it. My absolute favorite from Timeless is the coQ 10 serum with peptides though. Don't understand why that doesn't get more love! I have two big bottles in the fridge!
I’ve been using timeless vitamin C for a few years now and no complaints! Very good price and seems to be doing the job of fading acne scars and brightening my skin. Can you please review timeless Q10 and Matrixyl Synthe products?
I love timeless vitamin C. I've been using it for about a yr and I do think it had improved my skin. Just know it doesn't last forever, keeping it in the frig helps but once it goes from clear to brown it's no longer good. I use mine daily and it does last that long, I think about 3 mos is good. If you get a bottle and it's not clear then you bought an old bottle.
Do you think we can get similar results with antioxidant serums like Regimen Lab's Vitamin X? Or do you think it's better to try a specific Vitamin C product? I know you said you really like those regimen lab serums. Thanks for the video. Happy Thursday Dr. Dray! : )
Just basically asked the same thing. :) The Vit X seems to have C E and Ferulic, but I don't know about the whole formula and how other ingredients interact with it all.
She comments on niacinmide on video. Convincing me to try Regimine Lab serum, it’s in the mail. I’m wanting to lighten, not convinced a serum is gonna do much for collagen production as Timeless Vit C serum and others brag to do.
My logic exactly! I'm using adaplene 0.1% rn so do I really need to try anything else that builds collagen? Not really, the retinoid is probably doing that just fine.
Thank you Dr. Dray. I use Timeless Vitamin C and the HA. Both seemed to work great. The company is pretty good too. Once I received vitamin c and it was already yellow (must have been in a hot UPS truck). They sent me a new one once I sent them a picture. I also heard that CVS is going have Timeless products in select stores. That would be even better! I have the sleep and glow pillow, love it but I had to put it on top of another pillow. I like being elevated. It took me some time to get accustom to it. I love it now.
Hi Dr Dray, I would love to see a review of the other timeless serums, particularly the Q10 and the matrixyls. Thanks so much for all the helpful info that you provide for us!
Yay! I've been waiting for this video! 🙌 I've been using the Timeless Vitamin C 20% since I can't afford the SkinCeuticals & so far I love it 💛 Thank you Dr.Dray - have a great day 😊
I have tried the Timeless c serum and I like it. The first 'airless' bottle I got was good, but the next one I purchased seemed to oxidize more quickly, so I think they still need work on their packaging.
I have rosacea that is very well under control, thanks to you. I’ve used Timeless Vitamin C, after The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% as recommended by Dr V, and it didn’t sting or burn my skin. But since seeing your video on Regimen Lab, I’ve switched to Vitamin X serum, always after Niacinamide, then I apply my moisturizer and sunscreeen, and I’m ready to go! My skin never look so good! ❤️
Would greatly appreciate your review and thoughts on other Timeless Skincare's products; B5 Hydration Serum, Coenzyme Q10 Serum, Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl 3000 Serum, and how it compares to Matrixyl Synthe'6 Serum,. I have used each of these. How do these Timeless products rate? Your opinion, please. I am seriously considering not using some of their products anymore due to Timeless's recent new packaging: PLASTIC. So disappointed in the use of plastic; I really loved and appreciated the simplistic cobalt-blue-glass bottles, BTW, Love, love, love your videos; thank you for taking the guessing and slick marketing out of great skincare! ! !
Great review. I've tried The Ordinary in the past but found it to have a sticky texture. At the moment, I'm using Seoul Ceuticals, which positions itself as a "dupe" for SkinCeuticals. Good formulation, affordable price... I'm enjoying it thus far. I'll definitely try Timeless next.
Thank you, Dr. Dray, for giving an affordable alternative to SkinCueticals' Vitamin C serum. I just can't see spending the equivalent of my electric bill on ONE serum! I've seen so many DIY Vitamin C serum "recipes." Vitamin C powder, distilled water, and Vitamin E oil do not make a Vitamin C serum that will penetrate your skin. Unless you have advanced chemistry knowledge and a chemistry set at home, homemade Vitamin C serum is not going to do anything but sit on top of your skin. I understand saving money, but if it doesn't get into your skin you are wasting money.
HEY DOCTOR HOPE YOU REPLY. I have a question, shouldn't the ascorbic acid be applied on dry skin (not on damp skin) because of its poor stability? or is it okay because the product already contains ferulic acid as a stabilizer?
Yes I have the same question. Since ascorbic acid is water soluble wouldn't it not be able to penatrate the skin when damp?? And applying on damp skin will also increase the likelihood for irritation.
I have been using the product since 2015 (just checked my Amazon orders) I am very happy with the results and it's pretty much an integral part of my skin care routine at this point. Like most skin care actives it doesn't work over night, but I think it does work. If Skincueticals is better, it's not $125 price difference better.
Yay! You reviewed Timeless. I think most of use it thinking it’s a dupe. 🤷🏻♀️ I love it, but I didn’t know it had Hyaluronic Acid too. I was putting HA on 1st, then Timeless, then moisturizer, then sunscreen, and topping it with my foundation.
Happy Thursday Dr. Dray and everyone. I’ve been using the Timeless Vitamin C for three years and I love it. I also purchased the pillow on your recommendation and it really does help. I’ve been dedicated to a minimum of 8 hours of sleep a night for years and I cannot emphasize the benefits enough! Have a great day everyone!
Would be great to have an affordable layering video for aging ( 50 plus) skin. Many of us watch these videos from around the world and cost is a factor!

Thank you Dr. Dray! I'm glad you gave this one it's own video ! I love it, it's really helped my skin despite the bologna smell LOL.
Thanks, Dr. Dray!

I agree. I have been using this C serum since 2015 and love it!

I’ve been using it for three months, now. It has gotten rid of the tiny bumps under my facial skin as well as lightening the dark spots on my arms!

Anyways, I developed significant freckles along my hairline, I was using plenty of SPF but at the time it was the Purito and Krave sunscreens 🙃
After a few months without it and plenty freckled, I reordered the timeless. In 5 days 90% of the freckles were gone. It was shocking and impressive.
Timeless is a great vitamin C option, I recommend it to anyone. And if you have sensitive skin, their 10% vit c version is the way to go!
5 days of a product and your sun damage disappeared lol

Good question!!!!
Hot and Flashy put us on to Timeless many years ago!
Agree! And her father ( a Chemist) checked that it has the right PH ! Love Angie ❤️
I was going to say that same thing, she did a pH test with strips too been using this for 2 years now... Since then.
She has also switched from using Adapalene to using Tretinoin.
She has also started cleansing her face in the morning.
@@vetsai8199 @Divak yes I am aware but my question was regarding the other products I mentined.
@@agnesjuhasz7715 You are right . I never imagined she would ever recommend a vitamin c serum and a morning cleanse, now she did. I am confused now.
Happy timeless now has a 10% now. The 20% stung my skin. My skin is that sensitive. I have rosacea and the 10% doesn't cause a flare. Like it so far.
Good to hear! My rosacea-prone skin can't tolerate the 20% either 😒 Waiting for Black Friday to try the 10% 👍
You read my mind. I was just wondering if anyone with rosacea has used this successfully.
@@AllyKit Happy to help!! So far so good anyway. 👍
i have rosacea n never had problem w/ 20%... can't leave without, plus Timeless q10. great combo!!
I love the timeless vitamin c!! I was worried the vitamin E would break out my cystic acne prone skin, but it doesn’t! It’s soothing and absorbs right away.
Btw I used to get bad cystic acne on the chin and jaw line. Once I completely stopped having dairy, I never got big cystic acne bumps again.
I have been waiting to hear your thoughts on Timeless Vitamin C! Thank you! I really love the product, but would love to see it officially studied.
I've have been using this vitamin c serum, as well as the coq enzyme serum for many years. I like them both
I love timeless vitamin C.
Dray! : )
I was wondering the same thing!
I've been using the Timeless Vitamin C 20% since I can't afford the SkinCeuticals & so far I love it 💛
Thank you Dr.Dray - have a great day 😊
Hope you like it!
I use Timeless Vitamin C and other products. I love them.
I have tried the Timeless c serum and I like it. The first 'airless' bottle I got was good, but the next one I purchased seemed to oxidize more quickly, so I think they still need work on their packaging.
Long story short, Timeless is not a dupe for Skinceuticals so don't bother.
Hi! What type of rosacea do u have?
Not only is Dr. Dray so helpful but a lot of comments have really helped me decide to give Timeless a try.
The Sleep and Glo pillow really is a game changer. It is so very comfortable and definitely no more sleep wrinkles!
HEY DOCTOR HOPE YOU REPLY. I have a question, shouldn't the ascorbic acid be applied on dry skin (not on damp skin) because of its poor stability? or is it okay because the product already contains ferulic acid as a stabilizer?
Exactly! I have the same question too. I really hope Dr. Dray can address that.
Same question!
same question!
Yes I have the same question. Since ascorbic acid is water soluble wouldn't it not be able to penatrate the skin when damp?? And applying on damp skin will also increase the likelihood for irritation.
Oh, bugger - I tend to slap it on damp skin.
I have been using the product since 2015 (just checked my Amazon orders) I am very happy with the results and it's pretty much an integral part of my skin care routine at this point. Like most skin care actives it doesn't work over night, but I think it does work. If Skincueticals is better, it's not $125 price difference better.
I would find a review of the Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow very interesting, its 15 % and it has vitamin e and ferulic acid, and its 10.50 €.
Doctor Anne (germany), Dr Kay Explains (UK) and No BS Beauty have all reviewed this serum.
@@db-gb5xi Sure, most products have been reviewed multiple times. Timeless and the Skinceuticals have been too, and still you're here, right? ;)
@@felix_d5412 True but I don't use vit c serums. I was just letting you know. Not everyone looks at other channels.
Oh yes! I’ve been waiting for this one!
thanks for watching
Me too!
Same!
Would be great to have an affordable layering video for aging ( 50 plus) skin. Many of us watch these videos from around the world and cost is a factor!
