  • Let’s talk about affordable yet greatly enjoyable vitamin c serums that are all under $40! Yes, vitamin c serums can be up towards $200 but this video will be looking at a much different price set but without comprising on quality. I love using vitamin c serums in the morning before sunscreen to reduce dark spots on my face!
    Hope this helps!

Thank you for mentioning that Vitamin C can aggravate sensitive skin with Rosacea. I tried a Vitamin C serum years ago, the serum did irritate my skin at that time. I haven't used another serum with Vitamin C - I may try the Vanicream. I am pleased using the Vanicream products - they are formulated for sensitive skin - fragrance free too. I love using the Moisturizing Lotion and the SPF 30 sunscreen 🥰 Enjoy the summer everyone 🏖

I have tried multiple vit C serums and they all irritated my skin. Then I learnt that there are different types of vit C. All I tried were active forms. So I got Roc vit C serum and I absolutely love it - I do not even feel any reaction on the skin as I apply, it is probably the most comfortable product for me to use, and it does not stink lol.

Actually, I always thought my skin was invincible till I tried vit C. I could use strong retinoids on my eyelids just fine, never had issues with any skincare products. idk if it was a coincidence, but I got rosacea for the first time a few months ago exactly when I tried vit C and it's been a disaster ever since. Or maybe I've just "hit the age" when it all comes at once.

Anyway, there are too many products out there and like you am very concern about my age spots, I have been able to keep the age spots at bay, but it seems it is getting more prominent now as I am aging of course. Sorry to chime in but the ONLY thing that helps my melasma is hydroquinone. Unfortunately it's unstable so have your Dr. prescribe approximately a month's worth or it goes bad. It can make dark spots worse if used too long. The key is to use it in the fall, winter, as the summer sun hits, concentrate on vitamin C then sunscreen. I did this last fall & winter. By spring I had very little discoloration. Was just prescribed more ( sent via compound pharmacy as they have to mix. In the Summer months, HEAT exacerbates melasma as well as the sun, even using sunscreen. Just experienced & want to help.😊
I use L'Oreal Vitamin C in the tube ( not crazy about packaging) but I've tried many & feel I got brighter under eyes and fades dark spots. Must use every morning before sunscreen though.

I started it to fade my age/sun spots, if anything it’s brought more to the surface and hasn’t faded them. Is it a side effect and should I stop using it? Or does it take over a year to see improvement? I wear sunscreen daily yes. I’m trying Arbutin, TXA, Licorice root, kojic acid. Nothing is helping. I’m in Australia so can’t get Hydroquinone. I’m getting so frustrated. Do I stop Tretinoin? Thank you

I can hardly believe it but I disagree with you about the Avene dropper lid. I prefer it because I waste a lot less product and I perceive that it keeps the product fresher. I actually keep the caps and put them on other products that arrive with droppers. It makes applying the La Roche-Posse vitamin B serums so much better.

I have been using Timeless products for years. I tried Drmtology Vitamin C serum and went back to Timeless Vitamin C 20%. I have Rosacea and tolerate it.

I ditched my Timeless vit c serum. It oxidized so quickly despite keeping the bottle in a dark cabinet.

Have purchased the vichy product twice. Both times was brown colour and had an awful stink! Both times had to bring the product back. My next step was to contact #vichy who let me know that this is the actual product smell and look. So, can you confirm? Brown colour and awful stink is the regular product?
