  • Let’s talk about affordable yet greatly enjoyable vitamin c serums that are all under $40! Yes, vitamin c serums can be up towards $200 but this video will be looking at a much different price set but without comprising on quality. I love using vitamin c serums in the morning before sunscreen to reduce dark spots on my face!
    Hope this helps!

Thank you for mentioning that Vitamin C can aggravate sensitive skin with Rosacea. I tried a Vitamin C serum years ago, the serum did irritate my skin at that time. I haven't used another serum with Vitamin C - I may try the Vanicream. I am pleased using the Vanicream products - they are formulated for sensitive skin - fragrance free too. I love using the Moisturizing Lotion and the SPF 30 sunscreen 🥰 Enjoy the summer everyone 🏖

I have tried multiple vit C serums and they all irritated my skin. Then I learnt that there are different types of vit C. All I tried were active forms. So I got Roc vit C serum and I absolutely love it - I do not even feel any reaction on the skin as I apply, it is probably the most comfortable product for me to use, and it does not stink lol.

@@vickiemendoza9252 I was going to try that if Roc did not work for me.
Actually, I always thought my skin was invincible till I tried vit C. I could use strong retinoids on my eyelids just fine, never had issues with any skincare products. idk if it was a coincidence, but I got rosacea for the first time a few months ago exactly when I tried vit C and it's been a disaster ever since. Or maybe I've just "hit the age" when it all comes at once.

Anyway, there are too many products out there and like you am very concern about my age spots, I have been able to keep the age spots at bay, but it seems it is getting more prominent now as I am aging of course. I would like to have the age spots cauterize. I will be in Honolulu in Nov 2024 through Dec. Do you have a clinic in Honolulu too? Mahalo for your kind attention.

Can you please answer this question: I’ve been on Tretinoin 0.05 since October, 6 nights a week. I started it to fade my age/sun spots, if anything it’s brought more to the surface and hasn’t faded them. Is it a side effect and should I stop using it? Or does it take over a year to see improvement? I wear sunscreen daily yes. I’m trying Arbutin, TXA, Licorice root, kojic acid. Nothing is helping. I’m in Australia so can’t get Hydroquinone. I’m getting so frustrated. Do I stop Tretinoin? Thank you

Pretty much most derm channels when talking about mature skin are going to say to use any retinoid your skin can tolerate. Be that tretinoin, or the skinbetter alpharet that Dr. Sugai and some derms like or your favorite drugstore retinoid whether that's Avene retinal serums or retinols like neutragena, olay, roc, naturium, etc.

Not all products react the same on different skin types. Some people tolerate fragrance and others don't. Trust has nothing to do with that!

I'm 49. Worked in the sun for 20 years. I wash my face with dove. I look 35 at best. Wife is 35. We have a baby. I know and do man stuff. I'm not sure why this showed up on my feed. Don't overwash your face. Don't touch your face with bare hands but don't use a face clothe. Don't wipe your face with a shirt while changing your brakes. Good luck ladies.

I also use dove soap on my body and if I run out of Cetaphil I then use it on my face. I think dove is a great underrated cleanser choice.

I started with the cerave c, used two tubes, recently switched to olay c, which I actually like better, I'm noticing a brighter skin tone and dark sports fading. I have sensitive skin and rosacea prone skin, and both were gentle and don't cause any flares.
