Tried again in 1994 but ran into the "french attitude"(plus was "blessed" with a serious infection when I was sent to the field too early after an operation) and got dropped again. I then tried once more in 2009 in which I worked back into fighting form and all ready to go for it but discovered the corruption and rampant changes to the entire core of our military service and chose to walk away for good. All the power to those who still serve but it is not the military I remember nor ever will be again.......

    Correct me if I'm wrong here but the Canadian military don't actually just hand out the keys to a MBT unless the soldier is fully trained and capable of doing the job they volunteered for, right? It's just there's a number of . . . . . .let's be kind and call them ' man children' are apparently under the impression that a woman can't pull a trigger, pee in a bottle or be around men without being stricken with an overwhelming hormonal barrage of womanness and break her ankle at the most inconvenient part of a battle. Have these man children actually met a woman? I know three women who out deadlift and out squat 80% of the guys at my gym: do I need to point out that female muscle responds to weight lifting in exactly the same manner as male muscle as in it gets bigger and stronger when under tension . . . . .you know, as in weight lifting. The idea that ALL men are magically capable of slinging ammo boxes around with beast like abandon is a complete fallacy because I worked with the medical side of the Australian army and back injuries/ musculoskeletal injuries are the most common injury I see. Picking up an ammo box isn't solely about strength, there's also technique and muscular adaptation. I've worked with plenty of nurses who are more than capable physically. Yeezus, 2021 and we still have to explain to some men that women are normal human beings and not some listless, fainting magical fairy that faints at the drop of a hat. I'm pretty sure Gina Carano, despite not having any social insight, can sling ammo boxes around if it was her JOB FFS.

    • @johnnybobbony7800

      what does this have to do with the video?

    • @teller1290
      @teller1290 2 года назад

      Gina Carano is not the normal recruit femme that's going to be assigned to combat arms. Pro athlete or college pole vaulters and discuss women aren't going to be in the army.
      In the u.s., the avg fit h.s. girl going in the army is 5'4" 122 lbs, with 20% body fat. The somewhat better than avg is what you have to plan having as recruit material in a real war.
      These chicks don't have any business being assigned to infantry, armor or artillery. There are double standards galore and untold numbers if issues that will surface once a real war starts. But it'll be too late to replace them then because they'll be leaders.
      No difference in being assigned those jobs now or in 1944 in Belgium. None. We're kidding ourselves and our daughters and sisters to pretend differently. And by advertising women in these roles, were only going to encourage our enemies who know better and who don't have to put up with pc feminist bs...since 1975.

    • @teller1290
      @teller1290 2 года назад

      Total apologist. Women are way different men and you damn well know it. Put them on the same sports teams and then we'll talk. War likely to be more brutal, at least at critical times, than most sports.
      You must go to a gym full of eunuchs. Cross fur chicks are great and I'm all for it but there's competition between male and female powerlifters, even if women are pros and men are high school athletes.
      In the u.S., the women's national soccer team has training matches with boys 14-15 year old teams. They can handle 14 ye olds about even orca little better but lose to 15 yr olds. IT'S CALLED TESTOSTERONE (and I didn't even major in science...but I did major in military history and I know that no one from Alexander to Caesar to Frederick to Bonaparte to Patton had women as spear carriers.
      People better (but they won't) start telling the truth on this issue or a lot of hard working,patriotic girls, who could've helped in war in so many ways, are going to get killed and mutilated and it there's, too. Frankly, we vs arent desperate enough to have to resort to women enduring the rigors of REAL combat, lugging field packs, lugging 30-lbs more mg ammo, performing emergency maintenance on M1A2, slinging 65-lbs shells, manhandling 155mm howitzer shells under time pressure. Living in the field nonstop with men for who knows how long, and on and on. Just common sense.

      Those are C2A1 it's a leopard 1A5 with a MEXAS armor upgrade package, still kept in very good condition, however those and the leopard 2s need to be fazed out, the old rheinmettal L/44 120mm smoothbore is under powered, and a little clunky in terms of size and weight vs effectiveness, as well as the C2A1 still have the old 105mm RO-L7 gun, seriously underpowered if it comes upon an enemy tank

    • @CanuckBacon

      I don't believe we have any L55 guns but we do have roughly 80 leopards that we bought surplus from Netherlands (give or take a few dozen) 2A4M and 2A6M (M= mine armour upgrade package taken and reshaped from the latest armor of the german 2A7+) with up to date optics and electrical targeting and stabilisation, basically bringing them on par with a 2A7+ in terms of armour, functionality and capabilities, with a slightly older and slightly less powerful engine is all, the rest of our tank fleet is made up of roughly 145 leopard 2s and C2A1 (upgraded leopard 1A5) but at least the 2A4M and 2A6M that we have don't have 40 year old used guns but newer only 10 or more year old L/44
