Finally made it to Moab! Huge shoutout to John from @sxsoffroad and his crew for being our tour guides. Rock crawling is not something I do very often and the new 2024 Can Am Maverick R made it a little more difficult on me. I was able to get it figured out and had a blast with these guys! We hit the Hot tubs and Hells escalator on this run. This is just a little part of our Moab adventure so make sure and Subscribe to see the rest of the trails we went on!

F@ck what you heard, that Turbo S proves time and time again it is the true 🐐 SxS.
It is a great car
Awesome series
Thanks
Don’t feel too bad about the guy with the x3 that broke a/both cv axles in mickeys hot tub. Did the same thing few weeks ago with my defender 6x6. Front launched up in the air and when it came down with tire’s spinning, both CVs left the chat 😂
The Mav R almost fills the hot tub.
Good job! Thanks for the vid!
You bet!
Mav R seems like it does very well and crawls as good as any other machine. If it had some sticky rockzillas on it then it would do even better. Thanks for the vids looking forward to seeing more.
Totally agree
best not break the Mav R before the alleged race with the legend RG and a Bandit!
If he will show up
The X3 that broke in the beginning of the video does not look like it's tires are aired down enough.
8 psi is what we all ran
Surprised it was that low. I would have expected more sidewall flex. I run 14psi in my X3 in Havasu, but I am not rock crawling. Hopefully you get it up and running again soon. @@desertsxs
Yeah I was aired down but I was trying to crawl a hole o the left side. The main gut on the bump is easy but I always try to go super slow just to see… bump and run on the overhang would have been better but something came loose and the driveline just ripped apart.
Great video! How is this comparing to your Pro R overall? Trying to decide which to buy.
X2
It is fast and corners well but so far I would say buy the one the brand that you like it’s very x3 feeling still
you guys should have dropped your tire pressure at The Hot Tubs. Soo er than that to be honest with you. it would have made evryrhing easier on the entire trail.
At 8 psi
Dallin I assume you learned some key things about crawling in this car, for example, did you keep it in manual and first gear most of the time on the rocks? Also the anti lag only works in Sport + so what engine mode were you in? Does Sport + make for a hair trigger throttle during crawling?
Ran it in normal mode and manual easier to control throttle in low speed for this
