    you or anyone else you know run the System 3 XRC350's? also nice camera job showing the landscape angles, its hard for videos to do it justice.

    • @slewcrewoffroad
      @slewcrewoffroad  10 месяцев назад +1

      Used to run those on the black and green x3. You can see lots of videos of them if you go back to our earliest videos on our channel (checkout our Moab playlist). Not a fan of them. They don’t grip well, they wear really fast, but they are really light though

    • @stgraves260
      @stgraves260 10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes the XCR 350s are good. They grab like the Obor tires. It’s hard to tell people what’s the best tire for them because everyone rides different terrain. People brag about the Rockzillas but all they do is rock. I run the System3 RT 320s now and love them. I do more than just rock. I have been to Crossbar Oklahoma, Windrock Tennessee, MOAB Utah and not a single flat or ever get stuck. I’m the only one in our group that doesn’t run Rockzillas and I’m so tired of pulling them out of mud and sand only for them to bash my tires when we get to the Rocky areas. No my tires are not as sticky as Zillas but I still go everywhere they do and more. That and I don’t have 6 plugs in every tire like I see most zillas. If you ride in 90% rock and sand go w/ the XCR 350s. They grip great and you won’t break axles as much like people do with zillas. If you ride in Rocks, Mud, Sand, Leafy dirt go with the 320s. The 320s are a harder compound so you will get about 6,000 miles out of the tires. The 350s are softer so you will get a smother ride and about 3,000 miles out of the tires. The zillas are the softest but you will be lucky to get about 1,000 miles out of the tires. This depends on your terrain you ride. When we went to MOAB and Windrock last year the zillas really struggled in the sand and mud areas. I pulled 3 of the 5 units out with my 320s. However they did better in the slick rock area than me w/ my 320s, but I still made it with ease. They spin more but I still make it. The 350s would be a great choice for Crossbar, MOAB, Windrock if you avoid the heavy mud and snow and you’ll get a smooth ride. The 320s dont ride as smooth but you don’t have to avoid anything. Just point and go. They won’t do like soupy mud but they will get threw more mud than the 350s and zillas but ride a little more ruff. I have ran the same 320s on my 2019 Honda Talon sense day 1. I used a set of the 350s to see how they would do. No complaints, they do ride more smooth but you will give up traction in the mud, snow, leafy dirt. My picks in order of these 3 tires because the terrain I ride would be 320s 1st, 350s a close 2nd and the zillas last because they struggled so much in dirt, mud, sand and snow. I can’t afford 5 sets of tires for each terrain. If all you do is rock than yes Zillas are wear it’s at. They would be first choice. 350s would be a close 2nd. A very close second do to they not quite as sticky so you break less axles. You give up a little grip for better reliability. The 320s would be 3rd because they will get you threw the rocks but they don’t excel in the rocks compared to the zillas and 350s, but they shine everywhere else the zillas and 350s don’t. I hope this helps. All 3 of these tires are great trail tires. This is just my thoughts on them because the way we all ride in my group and the terrain we go through. My next set of tires will be the 350s only because they did ride much smoother than my 320s. I used a set one weekend and Didn’t put 1,000s of mile on them like I have my 320s.

    What app or map do you use for the trails at crossbar? Heading down for the first time in March

    • @slewcrewoffroad
      @slewcrewoffroad  10 месяцев назад +1

      Don’t have a good answer for you unfortunately. All the maps were aware of (including the one at the front office) have about 10% of the trails mapped and are almost useless. I’ve been wanting to put together a solid map with google maps that everyone can access for free but haven’t gotten around to it yet. We’ve learned where everything is by getting lost every time for years

    That spindle to upper arm mount is horrible..I watched KOH and everybody running these CanAms were having tire contact at anything over moderate speed. I don’t care how good the geometry is if that area packs with mud or hits tires it ain’t worth shit.

      @@horacio_SVT No chance I’d own a golf cart. The funny part is in the picture of the KOH winning CanAm it has a front flat from getting a rock stuck in between the tire and that ridiculous spindle thing…and it just looks stupid . The drone video from the race shows the rocks hung in there with smoke coming off it , brilliant design.

      From someone that owns the maverick R that comment about the tire hitting at speed is hogwash.. we rip ours through the idaho desert at 80 mph. Running 35 inch tires through huge whoops and have never made contact with the tire. Best sidexside we have ever owned. It's does everything and does it well.

    • @bullittdog4352
      @bullittdog4352 10 месяцев назад

      Watch the KOH coverage and listen to the racers and commentators. You can actually see smoke coming off the winning UTV’s front pass tires as he limped it to the finish. Rock got hung and punctured the tire then it got low and rubbed all over on the silly spindle. I can’t imagine how much this stupid design is going to hold mud and snow. @@foxtailadventures
